Food was delicious. There are many options available for all sorts of breakfast people. I loved the made for you pancakes and omlettes. At times the line would get a bit long, but never more than 5ish minutes until you could place your order. Then you can go sit while its cooked, or wait at the end of the line. We were seated nearby, so I chose to sit. The fruit platter was wonderful. They offered all sorts of berries and pineapple. I also enjoyed that there were many types of breakfast meats that were cooked well. Service was great. We ate here for 4 meals and I have 0 complaints with service. Our experience at this restaurant was disappointing. We waited over 45 minutes for our food, which set the tone for the rest of the meal. We started with a Caesar salad, but unfortunately, it was mushy and lacked flavor and drenched in dressing. The salmon was a letdown as well--dry and overcooked, served in an overwhelming amount of lobster sauce that tasted unpleasantly fishy. The risotto was even worse, with a consistency reminiscent of wallpaper paste. To make matters worse, the table next to us mentioned that their calamari was rubbery. It's clear that this place needs serious improvement in both food quality and service. I wouldn't recommend dining here unless some major changes are made. Amazing restaurant! We were on a road trip and came across this place while looking for dinner options. I didn't read any reviews before we went; we just went. I'm happy we did. Luckily it was Friday night and they had an all you can eat Prime Rib special with potatoes, corn, plus more! The food was very, very good, my husband liked the burger, my kids loved their food. I only wish I could have eaten more... The waiter was very nice and welcoming and kept making sure we had everything we wanted too. I would love to come back with more friends a d family. Two words: brunch buffet. The best part? It's there every single day. It consists of: omelet station, waffles, pancakes, bagels, bacon, sausage, biscuits & gravy, fruit, oatmeal, cereal, hash browns, scrambled eggs, toast, and juices. The place itself is cute and Scandinavian decorated. The furniture is made by the hotel employees and is beautifully carved. The service is incredible kind and attentive, especially the talkative hostess. Dinner here is great as well and each night of the week has a different theme. For example, Saturday night is stir-fry night and the lady they bring in for it is this adorable Korean lady who hand makes all the sauces on her own. Made with love. Another recommendation? This place seems ok and the location is convenient, but it is way too pricey and it is entirely too busy for the amount of staff they have. I ordered food to go and ordered two sides. The vegetable medley side is zucchini and carrots, so I ordered Brussel chips. When I got the bill, I was charged $11 for Brussels, which were marked at $7 for the side. I at first said wait this bill is wrong, but then saw $11 on the appetizer list so I thought maybe I just thought it was $7 because the vegetable medley was. I was right, the side was smaller and $7. Turns out, I was charged for a larger size and sauce, $4 more. Please see picture of size in proportion to the silverware. I can't imagine what the side portion was if this is the larger one. The sauce is basically mayo or tartar sauce with pieces of shredded cheese out of a bag. I mentioned the mixup with size before my food came, but the staff was too busy to really address it, although a sweet girl working there tried. I told them to not worry if it was going to be too much trouble and because I could see they were slammed, but did tell her I didn't mean the $11 portion and likely couldn't eat the sauce anyway because I'm pregnant. The food finally came and the kitchen wasn't able to change the order from what they told me. I will say the brussel chips are tasty, very oily though- but tasty and sometimes Brussels can go very wrong so I'm happy about that. The sauce is a no go, not only taste wise, but because I'm almost positive it's mostly mayonnaise. The soup of the day was a corn chowder of sorts, which is ok and a small bowl, more what I was expecting size wise for the price but without much in it ( it's mashed up corn in a cream base, kind of sweet) All around I'm highly unimpressed by the food, by the restaurant, by the experience. I do appreciate the girl who tried to see what she could do and the good tasting Brussels, so it wasn't a total wash, but I probably will be getting food other places moving forward. read more

Would not recommend eating here. We've been coming to Boyne mountain for years and the worst service is here. My family of 5 came in for an early dinner today around 4pm and had Megan as our server. There was no wait so we were sat immediately but it took her well over 10 minutes to even greet us. We watched tables around us get sat and proceed to leave because it was taking so long. After we finally ordered, our drinks came out well after our meals (which weren't very good). No one checked on us and after awhile Megan came running over with water to refill all of our empty glasses which is when we simply asked for the check to leave. If you are looking for good food and great service, do not come here. Try the Forty Acres Tavern nearby, it's well worth the wait!! read more

This was an interesting experience. My wife and I got a whiff of steak when we were checking at Bluegreen and HAD to have one. So when we asked the hostess if they had steak, she said "Yes, we also--" "2 please." So we both got the New York Strip and was pleasantly surprised with the bleu cheese butter that came with it. The wife was not as impressed, but was still happy. The waiter was a bit ... absent. After referencing it at three separate table touches, he finally got us water during the middle of us eating (there was a random manager that got us some) because we just couldn't wait. His name tag said that he was a bartender, but when we were leaving we saw two other behind the bar, so I don't know why we didn't see him much. Absolutely delicious. Here for the Morel Fest. I had their morel and ramp gnocchi special one evening and it was amazing. One of the best morel dishes I had during the festival this weekend. We saved what we thought was going to be our best meal of the trip. Nope! I had the whitefish and I swear it came right off a Gordon's food truck and microwaved. It was soggy and flavorless. We had dinner this evening and the meal was ok. I had a fried whitefish sandwich that's stayed in the menu it comes with fries and coleslaw. I tell the waitress I don't want the coleslaw and she tells me that if I wanted fries it would be an up charge of 4.00. The fries mentioned in menu are potato chips on sandwich. I say ok, meal arrives 30 mins later and I see a fish of coleslaw on the plate and a handful of fries. I figured they still gave me the coleslaw to fill space on plate to make up for the few fries and small piece of fish, I find this place way too expensive for the quality and portion size. The bill was $50 for a cheese burger w fries and a fish sandwich with fries and 2 pops. The fish was not crisp, and needed seasoning really bad. 2021 REVIEW We've been here 4 times for sushi on Thursday night 5pm-9pm. The one server that was on the floor could not keep up with all of his tables at once, so none of the tables were even served with okay service. We decided to eat at Everett's for breakfast because it was in the lobby of the hotel and it was the one of the two places that was open for breakfast. There breakfast is a buffet style. $18 all u can eat and $11 for one plate. At the buffet they had all the common breakfast meats and carbs. The food wasn't bad like most breakfast buffets. Everything I try was good quality nothing like powder eggs or anything like most buffets. Waffles are made to order and so was the omelettes so they was fresh every time. Just a average breakfast buffet with better quality food. Service was good. Waiter was very nice. 3 stars just because it's $18 which is kind of expensive for breakfast and not a big selection for the amount of money u pay for. But all the food is good quality and fresh. I went here for breakfast a couple mornings before skiing, and the omelette bar is exceptional. The multitude of toppings is amazing, and the quality and form of the omelette making is great. Next to the omelette bar is a pancake bar, with many specialty batters and toppings. I got a raspberry pancake with cinnamon and whipped cream along with my feta and veggie omelette, and it was one of the best breakfast buffets I have ever had. Definitely recommend! My wife and I split... -Portobello sandwich -Twisted Greek Salad The portobello sandwich was better than average, but not mind blowing. The most amazing part of the lunch, though, was the salad. Golden beets, pickled onions, housemade greek dressing, golden sun-dried tomatoes, olives, feta, and cucumbers? Yes please! My wife and I destroyed the salad and barely touched the sandwich... it wasn't that the sandwich wasn't good, it was just the salad was so incredibly good! I noticed a raw wrap on their menu as well.. it's great to see all the vegetarian options here. Much better than the pub restaurant they have next to the ticket window. I must admit that I am a bit biased about this place as my last name is also Everett. Decorated with several mounted deer heads on the wall, Everett's has a wood cabin feel to it. I had the Smoking Granny wrap. It was delicious, but I am really glad that I split it with my wife as the cheese wrap is heavy. If you like IPA, the Everett IPA brewed by Petosky Brewing is excellent. But only if you like your IPA's hoppy and bitter. read more
