No smiles, no hello not even a fake smile from anybody. Well worth a trip diversion. What makes this place stand out is the marinated fish options and the toppings to customize your bowl, only a few places have both! My husband and I usually split a large which comes with 4 options of protein, but we usually get 2 marinated salmon and 2 marinated tuna options depending on what they have available that day. The size of the bowl is immense so this is plenty of food for us. It's a little pricey (~$20, but with us splitting it, it's very reasonable). They also have sushi rice as a base, pineapple as a topping, plenty of toppings and sauces to choose from, and the fish is always really fresh! The Poke Place could very well be the best poke you can find in the IE! This spot is located in a plaza with a good amount of parking spots. Inside, they have about 7-10 tables for seating. For their poke bowls, they have the standard bases to choose from (sushi rice, white rice, brown rice, salad, half/half) and a great selection of different seafood and tofu for the proteins. Wifey and I stopped by for dinner and opted to get the medium bowls for $16.95 each. I ended up choosing the shoyu salmon, tuna, and tofu with the garlic miso and spicy mayo sauces and it was delicious! All of their seafood and toppings tasted very fresh and the portions are super generous! Overall, we really enjoyed our dinner here and left feeling satisfied and full in all the right ways!
