Small poke bowl with brown rice, salmon, tuna, TPP sauce, cucumber, edamame, crab meat, fried onion & seaweed flakes. So yummy!

My boyfriend was craving poke and was gonna order elsewhere. I told him the only place I'll eat poke from is The Poke Place. We ordered via third party app. The ordering process is the same. Choose your base, protein, sauce, and toppings. However I did not see any dry toppings options for furitake, crispy onions, tempura flakes, all the good stuff you add at the end. So our poke ended up looking kinda bland. I wish that could be an option addded there.

Food 5/5 Wow! I am so impressed by this place! The portions are generous and fair for the price, and the quality was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. I originally planned to take my order home, but I couldn't wait and ended up sitting down to eat it right there. They have a great variety of sauces, and I loved all the spice options. On top of that, I really appreciate that the food isn't served in plastic, definitely a plus in my book. This place is amazing and has quickly become my current favorite poke spot! Customer Service 4/5 Customer service is great and pretty friendly. There was just one visit where the staff wasn't very friendly, though it still wasn't a bad experience. Ambience 5/5 There are plenty of seating options, and the space feels spacious and welcoming. It definitely has the vibe of a local favorite, I got that impression as soon as I walked in. Cleanliness 5/5 The place appeared very clean. Wait Time 4/5 It can get busy with long lines depending on when you go, but once you're ordering, things move along pretty fast. Cost 5/5 I thought the cost was fair, and the portions were generous!

Food was great but service was horrible enough to leave a bad taste in your mouth. I get it, it was kind of busy but not like the line was out the door. No smiles, no hello not even a fake smile from anybody. The girl at the front who started your order was so rude and was RUSHING us to order and was talking so fast you couldn't even understand or hear what she was saying. She was serving so fast she was dropping food all over the rest of the protein cross contaminating causing me to have a reaction to my shell fish allergy. It felt as if we were bothering her for ordering. Very unpleasant and the way she was rushing was unnecessary. The girl in the pink hair was also rude. Everyone else just seemed like they were in trouble. Employees don't seem happy to work there. Portions are huge food is good. The only bad thing I will say about the fish is that you get some really big pieces and some small pieces not very consistent. This was my first impression of them and bad service is enough for me to not return.

I recently went to a poke spot in Rancho and it's honestly worth the price. They really pack the bowls to the brim with toppings. Even when I ordered a small, it was still a lot of food and super filling. The fish tasted really fresh, and all the toppings were so good. They're also pretty generous with how much they give you, so every bite had a good mix of everything instead of just rice. The people working there were very nice and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The ambiance is also really peaceful and relaxed, so it's a nice place to sit and enjoy your food without feeling rushed. It's honestly the kind of place that feels perfect on a nice hot sunny day, because eating a fresh bowl of poke just hits different when the weather is warm. What I liked most was how customizable everything was. Being able to pick different toppings and sauces makes it easy to build exactly what you're craving, and since they're so generous with the portions it definitely feels like you're getting your money's worth. If you're in Rancho and craving poke, this is definitely a solid spot to check out.

The best place to get a bang for your buck. The service online and in person is always great. The line can get long but it always goes at a good pace, I never feel like I'm waiting too long. The workers really know how to get things done efficiently. And ive never had an online order feel like it wasn't as good as if I had just went in person. GREAT PORTIONS, GREAT QUALITY, AND GREAT OPTIONS!!! I've never been disappointed going to poke place, the taste/quality is always consistent, and everyone I know LOVES this place. Genuinely no other poke place in the IE compares. I recently picked this up before going to the beach and every bite I was just like "ugh I love poke place"

Food is good but my order was messed up. I did online ordering and requested for sushi rice I got none just a bed of salad. Love their online ordering system but sucks that my order was missing something

Three years in straight Yelp award PEOPLE LOVE US. The website to order take out has all the items listed and easy to navigate. Dine-in area is very clean, simple and spacious. There are outdoor seating as well. Ordered in person and note there is a long line which we don't mind... It must be good! Love the portion and selections of toppings. Fish and ingredients are very fresh and cold! I recommend small bowl bc they really pack it up.

This place has the BEST poke bowls in California and I wish it was closer to where I live! Any time we are nearby or passing through, we make a pitstop here because it's so delicious. Well worth a trip diversion. What makes this place stand out is the marinated fish options and the toppings to customize your bowl, only a few places have both! My husband and I usually split a large which comes with 4 options of protein, but we usually get 2 marinated salmon and 2 marinated tuna options depending on what they have available that day. The size of the bowl is immense so this is plenty of food for us. It's a little pricey (~$20, but with us splitting it, it's very reasonable). They also have sushi rice as a base, pineapple as a topping, plenty of toppings and sauces to choose from, and the fish is always really fresh! Parking is super easy and they have online ordering which can be clutch during lunch rush hour since it gets pretty busy. I can't wait to go get it again when I'm in town!

wow this is some of the best poke i've had in the ie in a while! great portions for an amazing price. they also don't skimp on the portions which makes these bowls so worth it. the fish tasted so fresh and i loved the different fish and sauce options they have. i love the variety in options from the base to the fish to the sauce to the toppings. the service was quick and speedy and the workers were so kind to talk to. it's nice how much seating there is and it's a great place to eat with friends or get food to go. this place will definitely be seeing me again!

Oh my gosh!! So good! Extra cilantro and tempura crispy's are my favorite! Huge portion!
    Rae Ann D.

Great flavor! Huge portion! Even the 2 protein option is huge and I can never finish it. It's also a great price for what you're getting. Fresh fish and fresh veggies. The pickled radish is amazing! I love the ginger and the house sauce. The service was quick and friendly. The place is clean inside, which makes us feel great. My stepdad loves this place and it is always busy, which is also a great sign!

Bomb poke spot! The fish tastes fresh and the portions are huge. They have a good variety of toppings and don't charge extra for avocado like other places do. The small size was surprisingly stacked so definitely worth the price. Definitely recommend if you want poke around the Rancho area!

Will Poke Place ever be open on Sundays? Yelp says you're open today (Sunday June 6), but I don't remember it ever being open on Sundays when I've passed by. Just wanted to make sure.

Do they use any service for delivering?

Postmates and doordash but its through a 3rd party. Some menu items might not be updated on their platform.

Just wondering, what would be the calorie amount for each bowl size? An estimation would be great ty! I usually get the salmon protein :)

I guess it would just depend. There are days where they give you a VERY good amount of protein and there are days where you think "why so stingy" lol nonetheless i love this place. So to answer your question, take in to consideration there are 161…

Take your break in the back, or outside the restaurant. Not in the dining room right next to customers. The food portions have gotten smaller while the price goes up; I get it that the economy sucks, but I don't think you have to do both. The last 2 times we have eaten there, once to go and once to dine in, the rolls are so poorly constructed they fall apart as soon as you touch them and the rice sticks to the plate. When I'm spending more than $100 to feed my family and then the care isn't even taken to adhere to a high standard, why am I not just buying my sushi from the grocery store?

The rolls came very saucy, and most plates had an aesthetic appearance. Personally, if I were to ever revisit this location, I'd only order the garlic noodles w/ shrimp & the nigiri. For this review, I will focus on the Lobster Tail Roll ($36), Gyoza ($14), and Monaka Ice Cream ($7). I arrived at Kuwada (Rancho Cucamonga) on Sunday (around 12:50PM). Parking is very easy. The lot is HUGE. I had a reservation for 1PM, but a reservation felt superfluous since the restaurant was VERY empty. Throughout the entire dining experience, I only noticed one other group arrive. Staff is the HIGHLIGHT! Staff (receipt says JoJo) was the MAIN superstar. JoJo charmed the table; JoJo maintained a professional, kind demeanor; and JoJo worked very hard. JoJo gave excellent recommendations, and JoJo maintained a friendly, bright smile throughout our visit. Regarding food, it felt inconsistent. The food in the beginning was plated elegantly and carefully. However, as time progressed, it felt like the kitchen was beginning to rush despite the lack of customers. Food arrived very slowly, and later plates looked a little splattered and untidy. Thankfully, most of the food was very good. It's a journey of texture, fresh ingredients, and light & bright flavors. The Lobster Tail Roll ($36) had fried lobster bits, asparagus, avocado, masago, eel sauce, and mayo. It tasted like a vegetable roll at times. The Gyoza ($14 - 6 Piece) was panfried with seasoned pork and vegetables. Tasty!! And the Monaka Ice Cream ($7) is tiny with Macaroon Shell and a small scoop of Green Tea Ice Cream. All in all, these dishes didn't feel special, but they were prepared well enough. On ambiance, Kuwada (Rancho Cucamonga) is very attractive. The location is dimly lit, very clean, and spacious. However, the music is awkward at times. There were moments where light, lovely music was playing... only for random yelling music to briefly appear... to then suddenly be replaced with a country-style song. It all felt surreal. I don't think it was intended, but I think their music playlist was accidentally switched to the wrong track. Overall, Kuwada (Rancho Cucamonga) is an interesting experience. Honestly, the only reason this review is "5 Stars" is because our waitress was EXEMPLARY. Although the ambiance and cooking staff was lackluster, the front of house is MAGIC. This is a not bad, pricey place. 4.5 out of 5

The decor in this place is amazing! They were also playing really good music! We started with the combination carpaccio which was perfect because we each got to try the tuna, salmon and yellowtail. It was delicious! Then we ordered the Surf & Turf roll which is spicy crab and coconut shrimp, topped with seared Wagyu, truffle oil yuzu, and eel sauce--absolutely incredible! Next was the Kuwada roll which is crab, avocado and tempura flakes, topped with baked lobster, eel sauce, and masago. The presentation on this one was extraordinary--and the flavor was amazing! Finally we finished with the Shrimp Lover Roll which is crab shrimp tempura and cucumber, topped with shrimp, avocado, spicy mayo, and eel sauce--another winner! Jojo did an excellent job serving and clearing plates, as well as keeping our water filled! This place is a treasure and I can't wait to go back!

(I did see a sushi chef imbibe a sip of beer behind the counter.) We ordered a salmon teriyaki plate, baked spicy scallop roll, and a beef teriyaki roll. The salmon teriyaki came out first, and my company did not appear to like it very much. The beef teriyaki came out next and the rice seemed like the wrong type. It wasn't packed well and didn't seem sticky enough which resulted in the roll falling apart. The teriyaki itself was good, cooked well if slightly too salty, and the roll as a whole was okay. The scallop roll was good. Scallops were flavorless but we are a distance from the sea. The roll itself had a slight crisp from the baking process and whilst it did suffer from cohesion issues like the teriyaki roll, the sweet and spicy sauce, crunch, and creamy interior does work. Whilst the overall flavor does warrant a four, my overall opinion is that this is a good option if remaining in the nearby area.

The entire staff was kind and attentive, and it was busy but not crowded at dinner time on a Tuesday. Will be coming back next time I'm in town!

The space doesn't remind me of a sushi restaurant and more of a sports bar, but the space was playing the World Cup and was fit for the occasion. Their AYCE is a great price ($39.99), excluding their premium sushi rolls. Since I refrain from ordering rolls at an AYCE, this part didn't bother me much. We maxed out all the limited items, which was very generous, however, I wasn't sure of how many rounds were available, or how many pieces total were going to be included in the limited items, so we ended up with a LOT of nigiri. Our service was great, but spotty at several times. I loved all the nigiri items, especially the peppered salmon, ikura, and halibut. I'd pass on the red clam nigiri, and the fried appetizers as they were big portions but very filling! Delicious melt in your mouth pieces of yellowtail and salmon were the highlights for me. My friends enjoyed their unagi, and our friend's daughter enjoyed all the cooked items. Overall, I could say I understand the appeal of the restaurant!
