I ordered their bulgogi kimbab and the half size Topokki which supposed to be mild according to DoorDash but it came out really spicy. Not sure if I was given the wrong item? I can handle some pretty good level of spiciness but this is a very inaccurate description of the it's spice level. Their kimbab gives generous amounts of the filling but imo a little bit lack of flavor.

7/23/2025 FRIED SHRIMP GIMBAP Unfortunately, I did not eat this right away. So the fried shrimp was less crispy. Inspite of that, the gimbap was tasty. Not sure if I'd order it again, as the Bareun Gimbap that I had last time was more enjoyable overall with the price and all. The gimbaps that I've had really do taste really good! I've had gimbap at H Mart at Diamond Bar and it wasn't half as good! JAWS TOPOKKI SOUP (Half Size Topokki, Mild Only) This was good, just like last time. Sadly, I did not eat this right away and ate it at home, so the food cooled down a bit to a luke warm temperature. But the flavor of the topokki, the soft, chewy rice cakes, the fried fish cakes all hit the spot! I really like the half-size and wish they would allow people to order other flavors as half-size too. Completely forgot to order the cheese balls, which would have made this meal even better! Next time, I will need to order their deep fried sets to see how good it is. CUSTOMER SERVICE Not a whole lot of interaction, as I ordered via self-order kiosk. But without asking, I was given the beeper right away. And the person at the front register made sure that I did not need anything else and checked in with me.

I rarely leave bad reviews, but this was unacceptable. The pork in my roll was severely overcooked -- hard, dry, and crumbly to the point of being inedible. I had to remove the pork entirely just to eat the rest. This wasn't a one-piece issue; every piece was the same. When the main protein is ruined, the whole dish is ruined. Photos attached show the texture clearly. I hope management takes this seriously and reaches out, because this should never be served to customers.

Have stopped here a few times and can say that the food is good. Not anything out of this world but it will definitely satisfy a craving for Korean street food. The Duo set is food of you're not sure what to start with. It comes with the topokki and a side of their deep fried mixed set. It's enough for 1-2 people Also tried their bulgogi gimbal and it is very good! Only thing that would be nice is if they had a spicy sauce on the side to eat it with. Other than that I would for sure comeback to try more of their dishes

look, think about it... Topoki is drenched in the sauce which basically means it's a soup and soup is what you drink when you're sick because it makes you healthier so therefore jaws topokki is HEALTHY and i don't feel GUILTY eating it BECAUSE ARGRGRGGGGWH THE ROSE TOPOKKI DONT EVEN GET ME STAAAAAARTEDDDD *drools*

This was the first place I saw upon entering Haven City. I've tried rose teokbokki at another place and appreciate how it's so flavorful. I have to admit, I was a bit disappointed. It was soupy and unlike other ones I have ever tried. It wasn't as flavorful. This is most likely due to it being a soup. However, it wasn't bad either. I appreciate how chewy the rice cake was. Service was also very fast. I saw they had other options too.

    Bareun Gimbap..perfect snack.

In the mood for a quick bite so we stopped byHCM & chose the Bareun Gimbap at Jaws. It was the perfect snack. Only downside, we had to wait awhile before anyone acknowledged us waiting at the counter

Had a craving for some teokboki and decided to DoorDash from here. First impression, Portion size pretty small for the price in my opinion and I bought the larger size. Ordered rose teokboki here and candidly it was unfortunately pretty bland. I've had rose teokboki in many other establishments before but the flavoring profile here was a miss to what it should really taste like. Perhaps they added a cup of too much milk for the rose color that if masked all the other flavors. Wouldn't order this again here but their kimbap was fairly solid

My first encounter with Jaws Topokki was at Haven City Market (HCM) West Covina. I loved their yummy Rose Soup Topokki! When I saw Jaws at HCM Rancho Cucamonga, I knew I had to get it here, too. It was close to closing time. Staff was still going on strong in serving up some tasty topokki. Lady behind the counter was very nice. I ordered the Rose Soup Topokki to go. Got a pager to return when ready for pickup. It didn't take them too long which was a plus. Upon opening the container, I noticed there wasn't a lot of the soup. I don't know if it was because it was near closing time and they ran out, but I was slightly disappointed. I wanted more soup! Flavor was good. Meats and fish cakes were tasty. Rice cakes were soft and tender, but I like them better at HCM West Covina for some reason. Next time I'll try their gimbap, tempura, and other soup items. Jaws, glad you're here at HCM Rancho Cucamonga as you are closer for me than HCM West Covina. Thank you!!

Another place right near the main entrance! They have such a nice display of their fried foods, mostly vegetables and carbs. They also sell gimbap in different fillings. We tried the large fried order and tuna mayo gimbap. The fried food was very crispy and still hot! There wasn't a dipping sauce since we didn't order their teokpokki, but the gimbap came with soy sauce. My most favorite is their fried potato, very crispy and savory. The tuna mayo gimbap was refreshing, filled with vegetables and packed in a cute neat box. Overall, I'd like to try their other gimbap options.

New addition to the haven city market. Jaws TPK was a much needed stop to mix into this melting pot of eateries. Right at the main entrance great when you're in a hurry. Delicious options with various flavors. Whatever you're craving this would be the spot to try. Packaged well for lunch on the go or you can Michael Scott them and parcel them up to eat at your leisure later. Decent pricing for the amount you get in one serving definitely shareable! Friendly service welcoming and informative. After you place your order you'll receive a pager to return for pick up. Tap to pay available.

The spicy pork Gimbap was so good! Fresh and the sauce they add is perfect no need for soy sauce. I've also had the bulgogi one can't wait to try more on the menu. Cashier helped me when I had trouble with the kiosk.

Rose toppoki with extra cheese and pork cutlet gimbap
    Krystle A.

Pretty good. Make sure u take a lactaid lol so much cream and cheese but you have to get the extra cheese. Our go to is the rose topokki with added extra cheese ($2). I will say there was more topokki compared to fish cake and it comes with one small quail egg. It's very filling and huge and mildly spicy I do love their gimbaps. My go to is the tuna and the pork cutlet. Very fresh and flavorful! It's literally right in the front of the entrance and looks clean. The service was also good.

But today I wanted something a little different and found this place. In addition to the big honking pieces of perfectly breaded chicken, they had some delicious red beans and rice on the side as well. The fries were okay--seasoned pretty well and not super thick or thin--and the cornbread was pretty decent as well. But the real draw is that unbelievable chicken. I was a lot disappointed that they didn't have fountain drinks despite having a machine. It doesn't feel like a satisfying meal unless I have access to adequate soda or juice. Part of me believes that more and more restaurants disconnect their fountain drinks to stick it to you with cans and bottles of soda each time you get thirsty while eating. And this pretty much guarantees this will never become a regular spot because it's irritating to be super thirsty but not wanting to haul your ass to the register to purchase another semi-cold van of soda. The service was okay, if a little sparse. My server only checked on me two times--once to drop off the food and to check on me when I looked obviously about to pass out from dehydration. The space is nice too with a lot of booths for my liking. Like some mom-and-pop places there was a lone fly buzzing while I was trying to eat dinner but that could be an aberration. It was also hinky that I was the only customer dining in. I was starting to think the food wouldn't be all that spectacular or mentionable. But I was glad to be mistaken. Maybe if they ever fix the fountain drinks I'd come back. But without that it's just no kosher to be constantly of thirst and have to pay for 3 or 4 cans of soda to satiate it. It's not worth it.
