absolutely bomb poke !! they serve a very generous amount so it is 100% worth the price ($14-18). small shop with minimal seating but still enough for 4 groups of people. Service is good they're helpful and nice. i just wish the thai tea and other drinks were not bottled

I order the small which comes with 2 proteins & it could be enough for two meals! I love that there are so many toppings and it has been consistent & fresh each time. The one guy behind the counter works hard to make each bowl lol.

Yikes I think it's a fish bone found in my food, be careful! This is depressing

Back here again, because just love this place!! Service always amazing, portions enormous for the price. Fresh food! Sadly! Lost 2 stars because I almost swallowed a sharp object found in my food, I think it might be a fish bone, so be careful and ensure to chew in small bites. Posted a pic of what I found.

Came here for the first time: a lot of parking, minimal seating, clean store + had restrooms, and friendly staff! Ordered a medium bowl but a small bowl would have been fine since their poke bowl portions are large (good amount of protein/sauces/toppings options)! I would come back again with my friends and family when I am in the area!

This is my favorite poke place ever, and there's quite a few around here. They are generous with the scoops of fish and amount of food given. There was only one stingy worker we've encountered one time but hasn't happened recently. The food is always fresh tasting. It's our go to always for poke!

The portion here are huge! The quality is pretty good for the price you get. I get the medium and I can eat this once in morning and once in afternoon. Best poke in West Covina. I always come here when I'm in the area and when I'm craving poke.

I have been to this poke place many times and each time, I am shocked by their portion sizes! I get a small bowl with Scallop and Salmon and it's enough for two meals. Their normal scoops of fish are double any other poke place that I've been to! The service here is quick and efficient, I have always been greeted by friendly staff whenever I eat here. The restaurant itself is usually pretty empty so it's easy to find a table if you choose to eat there.

I have had The Poke Place bookmarked for a while.I finally stopped by to try it. The place is very clean, cozy and spacious. They have indoor seating. The menu includes different sizes of poke bowl; small size with two scoops of protein, medium size with three scoops of protein, and large size with four scoops of protein. They have fresh and delicious varieties of protein, toppings and sauces. We got large size with four scoops of protein with half sushi rice and half salad base. The scoops were very generous and the toppings too. The poke was fresh, very flavorful, and huge. The staff were were very nice. The service was outstanding. We really had an awesome experience at The poke place. Definitely, I will be back and it will be my go- to poke place.

The place is located in the same plaza as haven city market west co. I ordered online and the process was easy and fast. Upon entering the place was really clean and the staff were busy making orders and were also attentive. I got the 3 scoop and the food was fresh and packed with toppings! Sauces were also mixed in and give it a good flavor! Overall this is def my new poke spot!

Music on the low side, 4 tables, serve yourself fountain drink machine, friendly staff and a whole lot of delicious fresh items to fill up your bowls. Great serving sizes and options and generous scoops. A definite keeper in the poke rotation.

Large portions no matter which size you get! That's what the Poke Place offers in terms of their Poke Bowls. You definitely get bang for your buck here. Honestly, I feel like you could probably split a bowl into two meals if you can't eat much. The service here is always friendly, and they help you immediately if there is no line. The restaurant itself is pretty clean, spacious, and with a few tables should you decide to dine in. There's plenty of choices from different fish, bowl bases, veggies, sauces, and final seasonings. Definitely give them a try if you're craving a delicious and healthier option of food.

I would rate this 4.5. This was really fresh and the portion was pretty big for a small bowl! Tasted really good! I would come back!

    Magda N.

They give a lot of food in a serving. Small is 14 bucks for 2 scoops, medium is 17 bucks for 3 scoops. The base is all the same amount, you get an extra scoop the more you pay. Lots of fish and topping selection. All looks good & taste fresh. They serve in to-go cardboard container. I prefer the regular bowl style but they scatter the topping more (wider area) so it looks nice. This poke place is located in the old HK plaza, now Haven food hall. Parking is ok on weekday lunch.

Medium Bowl (three scoops of protein).

Is the salmon farm raised or wild caught?

No one serves wild caught salmon in a regular poke place.

How long is the 20% going to last at the new West Covina location? I'm a regular at the Ranco location but I might make a trip out there to support the new location!

Hi the 20% will continue through the month of August. Thank you for your support.

I love the ready-to-go meals. I hate that my wallet cries every single time I walk through those doors. And yet, here I am. But here's the thing -- they never skimp on quality, and that's what keeps dragging me back like a moth to an overpriced flame. Those roast beef sandwiches are still $4.99, and at this point, that price tag alone deserves a standing ovation. In this economy? Iconic. Their uni puts every other Asian market I've tried to absolute shame -- no contest, don't even argue with me on this one. The real MVPs of the store, though? The soup noodles and sushi rolls. Genuinely elite. And don't even get me started on the drink selection -- if it came from Japan and you can't pronounce it, they probably have it. As for the meat section -- surprisingly solid. Most cuts were quality grade, which, given the prices, is the bare minimum they could do. At least they're holding up their end of the deal. Will I be back? Obviously. Do I need therapy for it? Possibly.

I come from Burbank to get their sweet chili wings. I have tried their lemon pepper and garlic soy, which were also very good. If only we had one closer, I'd probably order weekly. I've had leftovers and after 4 minutes in the air fryer, the wings were still crispy, even with all the sauce lathered on overnight. My last visit was one Sunday in October. I met a friend here to watch football games. It was a good halfway point being I am coming from Burbank and he from Fontana. It was slow enough that we didn't feel pressured to leave because we stopped ordering food and only had drinks the last few hours we were there. We stayed a total of 4 hours. Throughout that time, the staff was only one person, Bobby. He said he was the General Manager of the place. He came out a few times to see how we were doing when he wasn't making orders, which was only a few times. Seems he had a stream of to-go orders and tended to about another 4 tables that came in while we were there. Hard working guy, he ran it all by himself! It did take some time for the order to arrive, but we were just catching up since we haven't seen each other for a long while! Once we got our order, we were surprised how big the burrito was lol. We split the burrito in 3 and it was very quite filling. We also didn't even finish our fries. The joint fries was basically like the joint burrito, so everything was quite flavorful. Pretty solid place, but you will feel very heavy after eating! Service was very kind as well.

The baked salmon roll was very creamy and savory, whereas the mango special roll was sweet and indulgent. As for the rainbow battera, the flavors of each fish really stood out in every bite. With the donburi, the salmon tasted clean and fresh, making it a good contrast to the salty ikura. The seasoned sushi rice and seaweed salad created the perfect balance to the bowl. I had to work late last night, so I stopped to get a bowl with 3 scoops of salmon so I would be full for the rest of the day. The girl who helped me seemed really new, and was left all by herself, and was really nice, but when I got back to work, there was no sauce at all. It was on my receipt, but it wasn't on the food, not on the side, not anywhere. So what I basically had was a pile of raw salmon and dry white rice and toppings. I tried to eat it, but it was super dry and sticky, and I couldn't go back to just get the sauce because I couldn't leave work. I left it in the fridge and took a picture the next day, and took the picture and my receipt back to see if I could get a replacement bowl, or my money back. The guy behind the register had to call his manager, who told him he was only allowed to give me a side cup of the sauce. Which didn't do me any good now, because I wasn't comfortable eating raw fish the day after I ordered it. I only kept the original bowl to be able to take the picture, so they knew I didn't eat it and was just trying to get a new bowl for free. So no replacement bowl, and no money back. I paid $20, including tip, and ended up just eating that payment. Really, really frustrating. If you're going to have new workers with no manager around, you should have a better system of correcting errors when they happen. Offering a free drink or dessert even would have been better than nothing, but their solution was just for me to take the new side sauce and eat raw fish a day later. The food is good, so I may still go back in the future, but I'll definitely be much more likely to check everything is correct before I go.
