On the other side of the Rainbow. From fine dining to island dining, this is the place to eat for a true island mouth indulging treat. Isreal could not say it better. Somewhere over the rainbow. reflects a longing for a better place and resonates with themes of hope and optimism.

Sadly I started eating before I got any photos of the actual food!!! But trust me the food was very attractive... Poke nachos and volcano poke bowl were both top notch. The place was clean and comfortable. Our food can out super fast and the server was very nice. Plenty of fresh fish on both. Sauces were good and the "chips" on the nachos were crisp and delicious. Definitely a place to stop if you like poke.

Basic Strip mall poke shop that I decided to try out. Pros - nice clean ambiance. Ample seating. Cons - not very busy and limited stock during peak lunch hour. Came here to order poke bowls at lunch time and was told they only had enough salmon for 1 poke bowl, which was a bit odd for a restaurant specializing in fresh fish. Generic Hawaiian spot. Ok for takeout.

not as amazing as i thought itd be, but maybe because i came 30 mins before closing. Got the poke nachos and Hawaiian bowl. The poke nachos were flavorful but the sauce was doing the heavy lifting. There was something bitter in the hawaiian bowl poke, and it had a few raw salmon bits on top compared to the tuna. The dining area had a nice and open vibe that's inviting. Would try again sometime in the future but will not going out of my way to try again.

Poke Shack & Grill in Vegas is hands down one of my favorite spots in the city. I've literally tried everything on the menu, and I can confidently say it's all delicious, there's not a single miss. But let me tell you about the Lava Bowl... I am obsessed in the most unhealthy way possible. If you like spice, this one is a must try. It has the perfect heat, flavor, and freshness that keeps you coming back again and again. I crave it. On top of the amazing food, the staff here is always friendly, welcoming, and super attentive. You can feel that it's a family-owned business they take pride in their flavors, their presentation, and the way they treat their customers. It's the kind of place you want to support because you can genuinely feel the love behind it. If you're in Vegas and haven't stopped by yet, do yourself a favor and go. Thank me later.

So happy to have found this place! Such a cute restaurant. Can dine in and takeout, the lady helping us was very kind, sweet and patient with me since it was my first time there. Food did not take long at all and tasted amazing! I ordered for take out but ended up having a couple bites because it looked amazing, I ended up finishing my ahi nachos lmao They also have everyday lunch specials, everyday! I will definitely be coming back! See you soon

Good service! Food is so ONO! Lau Lau juicy not dry... not too much meat and not too much luau leaves... meat not dry... good portion size. Poke bowl fresh and very good portion. Not more rice than poke like other places.

Ono Kine Grindz! Hidden Gem! As a Hawai'i girl born and raised. I am always missing the flavors of home. I was definitely not disappointed. I was so happy to learn that the owner and his family are from Hilo, HI. They recently opened this place 2 years ago and they're serving up unique and modern local Hawai'i style plate lunches, sandwiches, appetizers and more! They have daily lunch specials 12:30PM-3:30PM that include spicy onigiri and fresh inari poke bombs. Their Mixed Plate & Poke Nacho Sampler is a definite must try! PRO TIP: Space is limited so order to-go. If choosing to dine in, come in when it's not busy. Mahalo for having us The Poke Shack & Grill! @alexaanne_isaacs @9thislandcollectiveofficial

As someone who considers themselves a poke connoisseur, I can confidently say The Poke Shack is hands-down the best spot in town. The poke is unbelievably fresh--like, melt-in-your-mouth, just-caught fresh--and their Hawaiian dishes are equally on point. You can taste the quality in every bite. What really sets this place apart, though, is the vibe. The staff is so sweet, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. You can tell they love what they do, and it shows. The owner is the kindest person and clearly puts her heart into everything--from the food to the atmosphere. I love supporting small businesses like this, especially when they're doing it right. If you haven't been, go now! You'll be hooked after your first visit. The food, the people, the chill island vibes--what's not to love?

On the way home from a play in Chinatown, I stopped at The Poke Shack & Grill I had found on Yelp. I had planned on ordering my own bowl but when I looked at their menu board, I knew I had to get the Angry Tuna with its red pepper to denote spicy. In fact, the woman warned me it was spicy. That was fine with me. They have cans of soda on the counter to help you choose if that's what you want. I got a diet Coke. I had a seat, got a chance to take some photos, and in a short time, my poke bowl arrived. It has creamy wasabi ahi poke, spicy tuna, crispy onions, imitation crab salad, cucumbers, avocado, jalapeño, on rice topped with sriracha. A fine meal in a bowl. It was spicy and I liked it very much. I did have some Coke to cool the mouth a bit between bites. There is much more to the menu and I'll have to go back and try other things. The young woman at the register was helpful and friendly. I will definitely return.

This was the mixed plate wth seriously $40 total with the sides I CANNOT

I've been eating in Vegas for years and tried almost all the local spots mom and pops I don't discriminate even home cooked chefs But OMG this place I no can I tell you this plate with them sides was $40 !!!! I was so disappointed and sad that with the local Hawaiian food in Vegas being one of the greatest this just wasn't it ..... do better

After bookmarking this place for awhile and reading many good reviews, finally tried it. I would say I'm a little disappointed. Don't want to be a Poke snub, but the poke (poke shack) we got was a disappointment!!! Just lack the flavors. The loco moco and spam musibi were just ok. The kalbi beef with fried rice was good. Restaurant is cute. Maybe next time we will eat in instead of taking it to go.

Things were still getting together but I have faith they will get back to their normal flow. Food was tasty as always. Had the beef ribs and the kalua pig today. The Kalua pig was a very tasty version. One of the better ones I've had in town for my taste. Not too smoky, felt like it was roasted for a long time. The meat was still intact but tender. Ribs were as they always are. The only thing today, was that the boxes didn't feel as full as they normally do. Only got 4 ribs today and they weren't all that meaty. The pig dish wasn't full to the brim either. Also, prices have gone up from the menu, so seeing higher prices (totally understandable) and less food was a little disappointing. Service was friendly for the most part, but be ready for longer waits. Maybe it was because of the move, but it was a 15-20 min wait today. The ribs are still the best in town, I'm hoping the small portion was just a one off.

I used to order the chicken plate for 15 bucks and I would be able to have it for lunch and dinner now that same chicken plate is $20 and only enough for one setting. I'm really sad and i knew something was going to change because they've been closed for weeks, but I wasn't expecting a price raise and a portion decrease.

It is the most delicious Hawaiian food, when you want it fast. We had leftovers but stringbean ate it all. The kalua pork is tender and full of flavor. The katsu was crispy, mmm, not greasy. The sauces were excellent. The white rice and mac salad were perfect. Not sure why hawaiian mac salad always tastes better. (The first few years, after we visited Hawaii, we were regulars at L & L, - they had really good saimin, here, but it seems like if I compare these two, Mo Bettah's would be like if your mom was Hawaiian and she cooked this meal for you. We used to frequent Aloha Kitchen, back in the day. And Ohana Hawaiian BBQ, but then their pricing really jumped up. Went to Zippy's but it isn't the same.) This place is the real deal. Not open on sundays, not this location anyway. Inside the vibe is really neat, the plantation hut, it's nice. And also has a drive-thru window.

I've ordered from Mo' Bettahs several times, and I usually order the Ekolu which is 3 meat choice & several scoops of rice. The flavors are good, which is why I keep coming back. However, I've noticed the chicken thighs haven't been consistent. Sadly, the last three times I've ordered, the chicken was undercooked. I understand that mistakes happen, but three times in a row tells me this may be more than just an off day. Food safety is important, and chicken should always be cooked thoroughly. I'm hoping this is something management addresses because I'd really like to keep supporting this restaurant. Until then, I wanted to share my experience so others are aware.

Interesting menu, I typically ask the server what's your favorite? I also ask if the salad dressing and desserts are made here in the kitchen. I've had and sold enough of the pre-made. Now, my wife is Hawaiian and she's always a yes for island food, so here goes. I started with the Portuguese soup which was quite stewy and very tasty good. I'd say they sure like "the starch" my initial review of the menu. Chicken is all thigh meat, so I ordered the "trio" of chicken. That's a taste of their favorites all fried, Korean fried, katsu, and original. M went with the teriyaki which had no breading. All of my fried chicken was breaded or battered in the kitchen, so there is some inconsistency in "doneness" which is fine with me. Two very large scoops of white rice and a scoop of cold elbow macaroni salad. The macaroni salad wasn't too complex, sauce and pasta it was ok. We also tried the "famous". Lilioki beverage, okay free refills, the Orange Bang isn't my thing, the acid is too much for me lately. Everything was good, nothing great, no WoW but certainly reasonable. Next was deciding on our dessert, all made in house with the turnovers selling out fast. You can come just for the baked goods. Orders on line are kept warm in individual locker units, pretty good idea. We were taking ours home and ordered a slice each. Chantilly cake and Coconut cake. The cake was half the price of most restaurants these days. Having tasted both I'd say the cake was made by white cake mix and flavored frosting, which may be the island way, I don't know. the service was very good, every menu item was explained and service was speedy.
