My eyes were definitely bigger than my stomach. I don't know how I'm gonna finish all this deliciousness.

This is probably the best bang for your buck I have seen in a Poké bowl place.. THE LARGE IS FIVE PROTEINS?!? They also have a regular which is three, big kahuna 48 ounce seven scoop protein bowl and a mega bowl 12 ounces of protein and 48 ounces total! They have a wasabi or aïoli sauce that is absolutely dreamy. Everything I tried here was fantastic quality. The owner was super sweet. You can tell he is really passionate about his business. I will definitely be back.

Poke bowls are one of my favorite things to eat and this place definitely hit the spot. Not only is the customer service some of the best in town, but the food actually tastes very good. The menu offers a variety of different items from Poke bowls, Hot bowls, Hawaiian plates, and sushi rolls. We got two of their regular build your own bowls and it came with a ton of topping options. The seafood and veggies were so fresh and they mingled so well with their flavorful sauces. We'll definitely be back to try out their Hawaiian plates and sushi rolls.

Not so stellar from the most recent experience. I ordered the three protein bowl (spicy tuna poke; salmon, and shrimp tempura), while the proteins were decent. However; the filling & toppings were OFF. The brown rice was way undercooked. The diced cucumber was so ripe & old that they were translucent! While the service was excellent, but unfortunately, the food quality was subpar.

Definitely my go-to Poke spot since I moved here! So many fresh fish options, veggies, toppings and sauces!! If you've never had poke bowl it's basically chipotle but SUSHI! make ur own customizations and it's sure to be amazing! It's definitely a cute lil slice of Hawaiian in the desert. And the staff are always friendly and helpful with your order.

    Top view.

First time dining here. Real chill ambiance. You can go with a pre-made choice for bowls or build your own with 3/5/7 Scoops of proteins (ahi/salmon/imitation crab/tempura shrimp). My girlfriend and I chose to build our own bowls. If you get brown rice (I did), it appears it sits in a container and then is microwaved as needed. The white rice came from a rice cooker.

Discovered this place by my work for lunch and I am hooked! So upset I didn't know about this sooner as I have worked here for 6 months now! I ordered a mini bowl with sushi rice, shoyu ahi and spicy salmon. While the portions of the protein definitely left me wanting more- (I ordered more poke), I was extremely satisfied with my experience. The tall gentleman with the glasses was so pleasant, very knowledgeable, and overall so friendly. We don't get a lot of that much these days. I ended up ordering another side of ahi tuna because it was so good and fresh! the menu also has hot foods and sushi! The lobby area was super clean, very nice atmosphere.

Look at the different in color this August 7th order.

I'm so disappointed with this place. I came here when it very first opened on April 28th. Ordered online and picked it up. It was great. I only like salmon and it was fresh as can be. My husband and I stopped going to Island Fin Poké because the salmon was just not right. It was as if it was previously frozen and thawed under warm water. The salmon was half cooked. Had my husband pickup my Vegas Poke Co today 8/7/23 and to my disappointment when I got my bowl, it was just like Island Fin Poke. The salmon was not fresh. You'll see from my picture April 28 to today that there's a huge difference. Only reason why I'm giving a 3 star because they gave me a refund. I called and they said either come in for new bowl or get refund. But I had to go out in the 111 degree heat after having a newborn and c section to collect a refund. When I got there I looked at the salmon and it looked just as bad through the glass. When I asked about it, telling them maybe you should not try to defrost it under warm water. Needs to be cold. He said he just put out fresh salmon. That was not fresh at all. I'm a culinary school graduate and worked in the kitchen. I know what fresh salmon looks like. Due to the lack of consistency, probably never come here again. Sucks. Hard to find a good poke place in Summerlin!

Worst poke bowl I've had. Their "limu" poke is nothing like limu poke. The fish was rancid and I threw everything away.

HELLO???? WHERE HAS THIS BEEN ALL MY LIFE????…read more Who ever made this poke deserves EVERYTHING THIS LIFE HAS TO OFFER THEM! Everyone helping me was extremely sweet, patient and thoughtful. Yay! First of all, the freshness? Hello... it tasted like they just went fishing 3 minutes ago and cut it up. The variety alone deserves applause. So many options. I got the tako, salmon, rainbow, scallop, and ahi poke, and I regret NOTHING except not ordering a second bowl (I'm big). Every bite was perfectly seasoned, balanced, and melt-in-your-mouth good that I literally could not keep quiet. I was straight up saying "oh my god" between bites... The textures? 10/10. The flavors? 10/10. I would travel the seven seas, walk across the Sahara desert with no water, and braid grass just to be able to eat here every day. I still have regret that I couldn't try the oxtail soup or the sweet and sour spare ribs, but I'll be back. I got the combo plate with lau lau and Rry's fried chicken. The Lau Lau was very good: the meat was tender and I liked the taste of the Ti leaves. It was less seasoned than other Lau Lau I've had, but it's easy to add shoyu or salt to preference. The fried chicken was very good. The batter was shatteringly crispy and the meat was very juicy. To note though: it's not a Hawaiian fried chicken where it's marinated in soy/ginger first (like mochiko chicken), but more like a very good version of mainland fried chicken. Also, the Mac salad was very solid, My other regret was that they were out of malasadas. Apparently, they sell out pretty quick so I'm going to try to come close to 11 am next time to snag one.

This location was closer to me than Zippy's, so I opted for Pacific Island Taste. I am not someone who usually likes mac salad, but their mac salad was pretty good. I would check it out in person versus doordash as I assume that changes the quality of the food.

While celebrated for its freshly crafted poke, available in a variety of delectable styles, my recent trip led me to forgo the seafood options in favor of their equally enticing plate lunches. What ensued was an enchanting journey through flavors that reaffirmed the cafe's standing as a purveyor of not just poke, but a diverse array of mouthwatering island-inspired dishes. My choice was the Bento Box #15, a culinary gem that arrived with an alluring trio of flavors--garlic chicken, teriyaki beef, and Portuguese sausage--each meticulously presented alongside a generous serving of fluffy white rice, delicately adorned with a sprinkle of furikake. The garlic chicken, tender and glistening, boasted a crispy exterior that yielded a succulent, full-flavored core, infused with just the right hint of garlic, perfectly balancing its richness. It was a dish that evoked comfort, a harmonious blend of indulgence and familiarity, reminiscent of a homely meal taken to new culinary heights. The teriyaki beef, exquisitely succulent and marinated to perfection, offered a delightful interplay of sweet and savory, its caramelized glaze and melt-in-your-mouth texture delivering a burst of umami with each delectable bite. Paired with the robust Portuguese sausage, which contributed a smoky, subtly spicy dimension to the bento, the meal unfolded as a symphony of flavors, showcasing the diverse and vibrant tastes of the islands. The rice, adorned with furikake, served as the ideal canvas for these bold flavors. Its delicate, slightly crunchy topping--a medley of sesame seeds, seaweed, and other seasoning--introduced a nuanced texture and umami essence that harmonized beautifully with the proteins, uniting the entire meal in a delightful equilibrium. The ambiance at Paina Cafe is nothing short of welcoming, exuding an aura of warmth where simplicity meets comfort. Whether relishing in their renowned poke or savoring a hearty bento box like mine, the experience is enhanced by the serene and hospitable setting. The clean, thoughtfully designed interior, coupled with the amiable and proficient staff, ensures that each visit feels like a brief escape to an island oasis. In conclusion, my visit to Paina Cafe was a testament to their culinary expertise extending beyond the realm of poke. The bento box was an enchanting revelation, with each element meticulously prepared and brimming with flavor. Whether you're an aficionado of their poke bowls or embarking on a culinary journey through their plate lunches for the first time, Paina Cafe stands as an essential destination for anyone craving authentic island flavors and a gratifying dining experience.
