Very nice staff and great price! You actually cannot beat their pricing for a gel mani in Santa Monica. However, I don't think it's worth the nail damage I've endured after going twice in a row. My nails were drilled down to a very, very brittle state to get my previous gel off. Now my nails are breaking and super weak. I got a french gel mani and it was a pretty decent job though, but now my nails are having to rehab back to health. read more

I took my friend for her birthday we had appointments for pedicure. They started her pedicure 20 minutes before mine. I didn't mind waiting I knew they were busy and my feet were soking. I had asked fir 10 more minutes fir foot and leg massage just like my friend was asked I was told well I have someone waiting so no Excuse me but I just wanted 20 minutes for you to start my schedule pedicure. My friends Pedicurest massage my feet and legs and then someone else came and put my polish and flip flops on. Dip manicure took 2+ hours, and turned out terrible quality (super thick, missing polish in some spots). It's clear they didn't know how to do dip so they should have just told me that from the get-go. Halfway through, the technician told me I should come back and get gel next time. If I wanted gel I would have asked for it, and if you can't do dip don't pretend you can for 2 hours. They didn't even clean my fingers at all after and I had to remove everything later at home. read more

I called the owner as requested in his response to my review and asked for a refund as I do not live in the area and was simply in Santa Monica for a wedding so "fixing" my nails wasn't an option, but he declined and stated they don't do refunds. I figured they wouldn't as again, all they care about is money since I paid $125 for a full French tip set and a regular French tip pedicure not even gel pedicure. Your best bet is to avoid this place at ALL costs. (Updated pics with my pedicure that lasted a whole 4 days before chipping off.) read more

They do not listen to you. I had the old lady, she completely botched the shape of my nails after I had gone in with the exact shape I had wanted. Once she realized the shape was bad, she cut my natural nails all short and made them an ugly round shape. Then proceeded to tell me my nails were too short for French.... Because she cut them short she also made my cuticle bleed which is pretty normal but she didn't apologize at all. Also my friend got a weird ombré instead of French like she asked. Weird French pictured. It's clean and fairly cheap hence the two stars. But i would not recommend at all read more

New nail salon and wanted to support local small business. Manicure and pedicure were done at the same time while sitting in the pedicure chair. Asked for payment at the end of the manicure. Regular manicure and pedicure took about 1 hour which is standard. I would suggest some things to improve service: 1. The manicurist should move to the side of the hand that they are working on, instead of having the client shift their body to one side. It would be more comfortable for the client and the manicurist would have a better angle to perform the job better. 2. Use the manicure table if available to perform manicures. I ended up having a drop of nail polish spilled on my leather purse :( 3. Less aggressive cuticle cutting. My cuticles on my fingers and feet were stinging after trimming. 4. More consistency when filing nails to the shape requested. I requested round, but some nails were round, some were square. 5. Request payment prior to painting fingernails. I almost ruined my freshly painted nails while trying to fish out my credit card from my purse and wallet. That all being said, service is friendly, quick, and efficient. Salon and restroom are very clean. Manicurist was able to clean the nail polish that spilled on my purse. Would come back again if the above suggestions were enacted. read more

I went with a friend to get our nails done together as most places are booked. Ive been looking for a new Go to place and was hoping this was it! #1 - we had an appointment but still had to wait 20-30mins. I didnt mind that. #2 - the nail techs were friendly even though we had to wait #3 - my friend's tech Did give her a few booboos and ouchies. she Did like the color though! #4 my nail tech was super nice and i actually liked my full set. my pedi was done by the owner and i can clearly tell he was tired... as a business owner i understand. It looked ok so Im good. Problem came when after only a few days my acrylics started lifting. When i finally had time to stop by I came and my nail tech was first so accommodating and said No problem. He'll fix it no charge. Then when he couldnt get a hold of the owner... all of a sudden his tone changed and said he'll have to charge me for the polish bec the owner is not there. Then tells me when I come back he wont charge me. I understand but he wasted a coat of clear gel but i told him just put any polish on there to cover the repair (it was French tip. More than half of my nails were broken it was so obvious). I had high hopes for this salon as this is their 2nd location and I want to refer people. They accommodated and stayed later which is why im giving 3 stars but i want to see if on the 3rd visit theyll be true to their word for once. read more

The nail technicians that i had were so rude from the gecko(making fun of my short nails, hiding my polish, etc) My friends technicians were friendly so i gave it a try for her. My mani was done so quickly and messy with no massage. It looked terrible, but i just needed to get out! The next day, the polish was almost chipped from my toes and chipped on all my nails as well as my friends gel manicure was chipped and ruined. We will not be returning. read more

If I could give it zero stars I would. The woman took less than 10 mins to so my manicure. My cuticles are like strings hanging off my nail bed. Polish is all over my skin and also is not on the sides of the nails. And the filing is not even. The paint looks terrible it's bubbled in some spots and see through in others. Do not get your nails done here when the owner, Jonny, is not present because his employees rip you off and charge you unrealistic higher prices with lies. This has happened to me the last three times I've been there. Interestingly going up $20 more than before for simple service. Came in for their soft opening today with my wife for her pedicure and 15 min massage. She felt very pampered and is extremely impressed with their work. I needed cuticle cleaned and Johnny was my nail tech that did a fantastic job. Great service. I saw this place while walking to Trader Joe's . Today decided to give them a try. They have parking in the back. The ladies were very sweet and greeted me upon arrival. They had a great selection of new OPI & Essie colors. I got a mani /pedi. Their pedicure chair is comfy with a massage option on it. The pedi bowl was clean and wrapped in a new disposable bag. The tools were clean and in a sanitized bag . I got Tammy for my nails who did a great job trimming my cuticles ( I like my cuticles cut and she listened ) and Holly for my pedi . I like my polish painted very close to my cuticles and they did a great job ! I'm happy to have a place in SM with parking and is open 7 days a week and they take walk ins. read more

Aggressive handling, poor communication and questionable hygiene/technique made this an awful pedicure experience. When I said no to a nail clipper, the tech grabbed an electric rotating file and razed away my cuticles. Previously I'd only been to salons that had manual tools. Thought the file was just to shape the nails and realized too late that he'd used it to remove the cuticles entirely. A stick, buffer and fresh emery board would have been 1000 times better. One reason I wanted to avoid the clipper was because the tools are on a cart without any visible sign of sterilization. Contributing to the bad experience was the inability to communicate with the technician. He was on the phone the entire time, did not explain what he was doing and was not receptive to anything I had to say. His technique was also bizarre - soak feet in too hot water without removing the old nail polish. This salon really fought to stay open after the pandemic, and the people seem nice. Wish I could have supported them. read more

I would not recommend. Had the skin taken off my feet and was bleeding and got infected in three places from too hard pumice stone rubbing. Still recovering . Painful.
