Restaurant is really cute music was fun. Staff was so rude that I would not come back.

Food was okay. We sat there for 15 minutes, no sign of a server until we had been there for about 25 minutes. Once we received our food, my boyfriends burger was completely wrong, asked for the correct one...still wrong. And then the waitress mentioned they would discount for the inconvenience. That didn't happen, but what they did do was add our friends dessert on our bill, after we explained to her, in depth, of how to split the check. Our server never checked in on us and then took 35 minutes to give us our check after asking. One of my friends misplaced their card and when they called, they were placed on a 15 minute hold and then the call ended...and when they tried calling again the line was "busy" ...super unprofessional. Do not suggest going here, way too many options in the area with better service and food! read more

I love the porch often go to the Arcadia location but today was awful. The food and drinks is the only reason I gave any stars. First the hostess no verbal response or acknowledgment poor attitude and it continued with our server couldn't even tell you here name but could barely hear her barely saw her anyways with under 10 filled tables and several servers. Again poor attitude for the server like she didn't even wanna be there only know our server was Kelsey due to our receipts. As someone who not only works in the industry and managed a few I wouldn't never keep this staff if this was their constant attitude. I have never tipped less than 20% in my life until today. read more

the service I received was beyond phenomenal and the rest is real. Everyone here is so attentive and caring to everyones needs. My bartender Emi was the best in the west, every drink she was was better than the last, I couldn't have asked for a better bartender. I can't forget the manager Cole, he made my visit here even more extraordinary, with coming up to me and having such an engaging conversation I felt like I've known him for decades. Im sharing this to make people of aware of the people who work at the porch in downtown gilbert. So yesterday i was there with my friends with no drama or anything. Me and my friend were going to the restroom which is outside in the back of the building. So before we go outside I was trying to shoot some hoops at the basketball machine but it wasnt even working and some piece of the machine broke so I just left it at that and went outside when at this point 2 tall white guys who work there and another tall white guy confronted us talking about how we broke the machine and theyre calling the cops. So we were just confused and i tried to just get away from them but i literally tripped and fell and when i got back up they had threw my friend on the ground and they were on top of him so me trying to get them off i push one off and idk who it was but one of the guys grabbed me picked me up and slammed my whole body on the ground. my shoe literally went flying and i lost conscience after that. All i remember was hearing noise but i couldnt see after i opened my eyes. Then the police came and the guys that did this to me said that we were trying to leave without paying and they were asking us to leave and because they said that, the cops didnt let us press charges. Its just crazy to me because why would they comfront us so aggressively over a damn machine plus we werent even trying to leave without paying and they did not have to take matters into their own hands and assault us regardless from what was going on because we were not even fighting them..So now im in so much pain, I cant even move my right arm properly and it hurts to breathe..*update* I just got back from the hospital, i got diagnosed with a concussion and alot of bone bruisings. read more

Recently came in for trivia night and it was such a blast! Atmosphere was so much fun, food and drinks were delicious & our service was impeccable! The manager even came over and checked on us to make sure everything was amazing! Didn't catch his name but he was a bigger tattooed gentleman with a sweet southern accent! We went to the porch for the first time tonight and it was amazing! I had the Rubin with the salt and pepper fries, amazing! The bus boy went above and beyond, I don't remember his name but he had real curly hair. He hooked us up with all the ranch, ketchup and anything we needed. My mom asked for a change in her fries and he misheard her say she wanted them mashed. So he literally had the kitchen mash the fries with a fork! How awesome is that!? After clearing up the misunderstanding he went and got her the fries she wanted. We will definitely be coming back to this place. Good people! Thanks guys! read more

Ate here for the first time yesterday. It's fun on the inside. We were shown to our table, which was filthy. The hostess saw all the crumbs on the table and walked away! During Covid, it makes you question the cleanliness of the whole place when something as simple as your table is dirty. We asked her to clean it. She did, but didn't get it all, and what she did get ended up on the seats. I was super skeptical at this point. I ordered the forbidden rice. It was amazing! Veggies were still crisp and the rice had the perfect amount of chew. We ordered the strawberry shortcake for dessert. It was good, but I thought it had a funny taste. My husband loved it. After a long night out, my favorite place to end my rendezvous is The Porch. I go there to watch the game with my boys and drink a couple of beers. The waitresses are friendly and easy on the eyes, and the food is consistently good. The nachos are the groovy. I want to give out a shout out to Holly - by far the best waitress at this establishment. She's beautiful inside and out, and it's wonderful to see a friendly face at the end of a long week. This place has so much potential, but it really fell short of even being "meh" for our first visit. The good: Ambience was awesome. Loved the crowd, music and overall vibe of the place. The boneless wings were great as well as the mozzarella sticks. The bad: Sadly, our entrees. Two of us had the Nashville chicken sandwich. The chicken was a really deep/dark brown and tasted heavily of oil. The chicken itself was really tough. The whole sandwich was inedible. I had the forbidden rice with grilled chicken and an egg. Great presentation, but flavor wise, the dish was bland. The chicken was super dry and absolutely not worth the $4 surcharge. Requested an over easy egg, but got a fried egg with a scrambled yolk. Our waitress never followed up after delivering the dishes. Maybe it was a fluke, but we got screwed by the software service used for seating. We put our name in and were told there was a 30 minute wait. After waiting about 45 minutes, maybe 8 feet from the hostess table, we received a a text at 7:34pm saying our table was ready. We immediately went to the hostess and were told that they gave our table away since they never heard from us. She showed me that In their system, they notified me at 7:03pm. Confused, I showed the hostess my text and the time stamp it was received. I was told the issue must be my phone. Defensively I pushed back and blamed it on their system. We waiting about another 10 minutes before finally getting a table. read more

Waited for 1hr for a table for 4. Considering this restaurant is brand new and on the hottest little strip in the east valley, that's fine. We knew there'd be a wait. But as we were waiting for our food it was obvious that their waitstaff was severely understaffed. I think our waitress had 7-8 tables.. LARGE tables.. to herself. On a Saturday night. That's insane to me. It wasn't an overly warm night, but the AC was blasting us the entire time, and my husband who is never cold was drawn to complain about that. The food: apps were fine. We had the fried pickles and the Buffalo cauliflower. Nothing to write home about, but decent flavor. For main courses: I got the Nashville chicken sandwich, my husband got the BBQ burger, my mom got the French dip burger. My son just had fries off our plates. The chicken sandwich was SPICY so believe the menu! But as far as it being a "chicken" sandwich.. it was mostly the crusty fried breading around a severely thin slice of chicken breast. Aside from the spicy flavor, the dish was definitely lacking other tastes. I couldn't finish it with the buns, I peeled them away because the breadiness of the fried crust and the buns became overwhelming. Sweet potato fries were good, though. My husbands bbq burger was also underwhelming. He's a big guy, literally always finishes his food. And he didn't finish this burger. That's crazy to me. He said it wasn't great and he was "full" (which I don't believe..). My moms French dip burger was good, according to her, but she said it was smothered in onions. It's good if you really like onions, thankfully she does. I doubt we will ever come back. Slowwwww service and the food wasn't worth the cost. Was excited to try something new. Went in Sunday 6/12 around 2pm. Restaurant was not very busy, so we got seated immediately. Then we set for like 20-30 minutes, we were never acknowledged. Tons of staff walking around in circles. The host stand had several employees hanging out talking. Also, realized all the guests looked miserable and nobody had food on their table. Not wanting to spend 3 hours for a drink and a meal we made the decision just to leave. Menu looked interesting, but not worth the hassle to try it. read more

It was not ceviche and had very little shrimp, mostly guacamole and chips. Didn't have what we ordered so had to order something else. Burgers were okay but don't ask me what temp if you aren't going to cook it right. Took forever to get food and drinks and they weren't even busy. Took my girlfriend here I've never been here as well but I can't really complain about anything inside was beautiful, bar was huge and you get to seat yourself... the food was amazing I got the porch burger and fries, my girlfriend got chicken strips and truffle fries she told me those were the best truffle fries ever & I recommend both we shared are food and the food is amazing especially the sauces. The one thing that does suck is that the bathroom is outside... coming back though 10/10 read more
