Really not sure how this place has above average ratings... the prices are ridiculous, $21 for 5 boneless wings? Joke. A chicken sandwich for $27? It's all premade, heated up food with no flavor. Top it off, no one there at 7pm on a Friday night. I will say the servers were very nice and professional and the place is nicely updated. Definitely never going back. This restaurant located inside the Lansdale Courtyard by Marriott was surprisingly awesome. A huge thank you for having a vegan burger on your menu--I was traveling for work and faced with a lot of salads during my meetings, so it was nice to have a substantial dinner to look forward to. Great fries, too! The ambiance of the restaurant is really nice. You don't feel like you're in a hotel. The fixtures are modern and the seating is very comfortable. The serving staff and bartenders were always very friendly, and I had some great drinks there as well. read more

We wanted something different than our normal go to spots and after going to another place, ended up giving The Porch a try and we were not disappointed. The server (I don't remember her name) was awesome and even a couple that showed up made it worth the time we spent there. The food was delicious. A friend and I stopped in last Tuesday for some drinks and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! I understand they recently just revamped their menus, so we enjoyed a Lansdale Lemonade and a new mule. Both drinks were good! The ambiance both inside and out are what really sold me. Very swanky, yet laid back. Outside there was a fire going and the light strands offered the perfect complimentary lighting. There's plenty of comfy lounge-type seating, in addition to high top tables, and even a life-size connect four game for entertainment. We were able to meet with the new chef, Marvin, who discussed some new menu options with us. We will definitely be back for dinner soon! read more

We found The Porch online on our way into town for a wedding not realizing that it was inside of a hotel. Once we saw how empty it was (it was a Friday) our expectations were pretty low. But that soon changed. The food was AMAZING! We split the birria tacos (4) and they were perfect and then the Peruvian roasted chicken with saffron rice, peppers, and onions. Not only was the presentation amazing but the taste .. *chefs kiss* Three out of four of the other guests at the bar were asking about what we were eating, I'm not sure if it was the presentation or the look of satisfaction on our faces. Service was awesome too but my one gripe was that a Tito's martini was $20. Other than that, highly recommend. read more

They're attached to thr Courtyard Marriott so they were convenient but I loved this place. Ate there twice and wasn't disappointed. In town for business. Staying at the hotel. Decided to try the porch for dinner. I sat at the bar ordered my food within 1-2 minutes and it literally took 30+ minutes to receive an order of cauliflower. and blackened salmon. ?? No update!!??? Only after I inquired about the long wait did the bartender check(He was awesome) . Please keep in mind that room service orders were being expedited over my order and also other customers at the bar! So I felt...unimportant amongst other things. I have 3 more days left in my stay here and I WILL NOT come back to this restaurant. The manager came out and in a VERY RUDE tone said "We have 15 other tickets" so I need to wait other 2-3 minutes on my salmon" ?? Where is the customer service? Why do I care about 15 other people/tickets? My reco is there are soooooo many GREAT restaurants in N.PA to waste your time or money here! read more

Love this place, Frankie the bartender is one of the nicest people I've met and the drinks are spectacular and the food is excellent.

I make it a point to go to every bar around, so I made my way into this one for the first time last night. It's in the new Marriott by the turnpike and everything was crisp and new indeed. Modern style furniture through the lobby and into the bar. Has a very warm vibe, and and very clean, attentive and friendly gal behind the bar. Ordered apps and drinks. Coconut shrimp and mozzarella flatbread (see pics) were great. Also had the artichoke and Asiago dip. Bangin. For an entree I had the half roasted chicken. Nice presentation, the seasoning had cinnamon or something sweet in it, that I didn't really care for, and it was raw in the middle. Automatic 2 star loss. The bartender was cool and immediately took it off the tab. Aside from the chicken, I like this place and plan to return again. read more

Stayed here for the weekend during sons baseball tournament. Decided to "stay in" and have dinner at the Porch. Started with buffalo chicken dip, sons not crazy about blue cheese they put in it. They had the filet mignon which was incredible and you could cut with a butter knife. I had the wasabi crusted yellow fin tuna, very good! Only down side was we want to sit outside and enjoy the night and there were people smoking and I hate cigarette smoke!! The service was great and the food came out fairly quick! I would go go back. I've had dinner here about 5 times since it opened, when staying at the hotel for business. It is an above-average hotel restaurant, and I'd give it 4 stars if grading on a curve. The chicken, risotto, flat bread, and desserts are good. Avoid the cheesesteak and the salads. Somehow, they take fresh ingredients and mix them together in a very unappetizing way to produce bad salads. Good service. Very nice decor. Cozy and a good place for gathering, but also good for a solo meal while working on the laptop. read more

After reading the Yelp reviews, decided to jump off the Turnpike and let traffic die down. I had been here once before the week they opened, and I never knew this restaurant was tucked in the back - somewhat an exception as most Marriott Courtyards only have a "Bistro Bar" in the lobby. I don't do to many hotel restaurant reviews but in a hotel vs hotel restaurant review I was impressed by this one after visiting it for the first time. One thing that struck me by surprise was how well laid out the menu was and the amount quality dishes to choose from. So to start it off I went with the Garden Risotto which was super good and very balanced taste wise nothing overwhelming just a good quality dish by the chef. I was actually very surprised to find this randomly on the menu in a restaurant like this. My other partner in crime went with some large crab cakes that were top notch looking not your typical small crab cakes but enough to consider it a meal all in it's own. Drinks wise we did some local craft beer, wine and a test run mixed drink the bar tender asked us to try out (don't you just love when this happen's lol). The interior is very well laid out you can sit in the back away from the bar for a more cozy relaxing atmosphere. Service was super spot on and A+ and the location was easy to get to, parking was free, it's crazy how far Marriott has come with there restaurants inside a hotel this one surprised me by far! 5 out of 5 all day long for a hotel restaurant I will return again. read more

Only one data point so far, but The Porch is definitely a cut above the typical hotel restaurant, particularly at a "non-full-service" Marriott property. The decor is nice, as mentioned in other reviews. It looks more like a standalone restaurant than one inside a hotel. The beer and wine selection is fairly deep. On my first visit, on a dark, rainy night that did not invite exploration of other area options, I ordered the bacon-wrapped pork loin and a side salad. The dish was delicious, and the portion size was decent. I will be back on future visits to the property, and will update as warranted. read more

Loved the outdoor patio, very nice decor it felt cozy but pretty dead for a Friday night . Food was good overall. I had the crab cake sandwich it was delicious, wasn't crazy about the calamari fries but liked the sauce served with it. The buffalo chicken dip we shared as an app was pretty good also however, my strawberry daiquiri was just ok, I didn't taste much alcohol so I switch to wine instead. Came in with my boyfriend for dinner at the bar. Very nice atmosphere. I got a ginger-something martini off the menu and it was delicious. We ordered the calamari fries and it was very chewy but the sauces were great. My boyfriend hated it. I ordered the portobello sandwich with a side Caesar salad and it was good, not great. My boyfriend ordered the cheesesteak sandwich and hated that too. Said it was the worst cheesesteak he ever had. Took a bite and it was pretty bland. Not worth $14. My husband and I had a quick meal last night. Just a burger and the football game. Food was good, service was friendly and efficient. But after I paid the bill with cash, our waitress ignored us to the point of turning her head when she walked by. I have a very low guilt threshold so immediately thought the tip was too small. In the car, I recalculated. I hadn't misread the total. But just now, we realized that I might have miscounted the bills and left only a two dollar tip. We were traveling so I can't just run in with the difference anytime soon. I just want her to know that it was a mistake. I appreciate that she works hard and I'm very sorry. read more

The server was friendly, however the food took close to 45 minutes to come out, and my salad was missing the tortilla strips and salsa that were listed on the menu.
