Between the toasted sourdough is a slice of their Quebec meat pie. It was *excellent*.

Breakfast after Sunday church, arrived about 9:30 AM and waited about 20 min for a table for two. Stared longingly at a couple of bakery displays while waiting and noticed they had maple whoopee pies at an excellent price (didn't buy one though). Friendly staff took our order and returned with the plates quickly despite the crowded dining room. Wife ordered the classic Quebec meat pie. See photo. Perhaps not-a-big-deal for most, but I *really* liked that they offered sour dough bread.

I really enjoyed this popular breakfast spot in Concord. This was our first time here and YES we did have to wait for parking but just like anyplace thats good you'll have to wait a little. What we enjoyed about the restaurant was all the cool things instead and how old it is. Lets get down to our breakfast... Corned Beef Hash: Very very good and also it was salty like most places. Their's is home-made which probably is the reason we really enjoyed it and like I said it wasn't salty at all. Tourtiere Pie and eggs: I ordered this since I had no clue on what it was but the meat was moist and seasoned very well. It was like a meat pie with eggs. Really enjoyed this dish.. If you're in or around Concord area be sure to stop by this great breakfast spot. You'll be happy that you did.

Best corned beef hash ever! We also had the pumpkin streusel pancakes, they were super delicious! Worth the drive up from Massachussetts!

Consistent food, and plenty of gluten free options - does not "wow" but we drop in regularly.

There were approximately 5 other customers in the shop. Woman at the counter was welcoming and accommodating. We ordered 2 egg, ham and cheese sandwiches. One with Swiss one with American. A 12 oz mocha and a 12 oz maple latte. The woman at the counter inquired if I preferred white or dark chocolate for the mocha ( nice touch) and what type of milk. They do offer real maple syrup. The sandwiches took about 7 minutes to appear. The cook ( rather rough ) put them on the counter and turned away in one motion. The coffees took another 4 minutes after the sandwiches came out. If the place had been busy I, of course would understand the wait. However, it was not. Once I finally joined my companion to being eating ( I was delivering items to the table as I received them) he was done with his sandwich as I was beginning. The sandwich was a huge disappointment. Yes, the order was made correctly. The bread was toasted as I requested, bone dry but toasted. My dissatisfaction came from the lack of filling in the sandwich. One egg, one small slice of cheese( not covering the entire slice of bread ) and one paper thin slice of deli ham. I do realize that food costs are up, I also realize that will not have return customers if they do not feel like they are getting value for their dollars. The service was slow but mostly kind. The coffees were very good. The sandwiches were a disappointment. Two 12oz specialty coffees, two breakfast sandwiches just under $30.

They make their own baked goods and a large selection of coffees etc. Very happy with everything…read moreand a short walk from the Hotel Concord

The cookie designs reminded me of my grandma's Bengali Shondesh sweets. I went on the company website and then read about the owner who also started baking to remember his childhood sweets. The story, the look, but most definitely the taste...just wow!!

They also offer fresh baked cookes and fresh ground coffee too! The handcrafted treats are made with all natural ingredients and some are gluten free. Most of the items in the shop are available for shipping. I stopped in here recently to pick up a few sweet treats. The owner greeted me as I walked in and gave me a run down of his offerings in the shop. I got a box of Fine Syrian Mamoul Delicate Data Cookies (9 for $10), Exquisite Vegan Chocolate Baklava (2 pc for $4), and Exquisite Pistachio Baklava (2 for $4). Each of the baked goods were pretty good, though small pieces for the price paid. The baklava (layers of phyllo) were very crispy on the outside and very sweet. The date cookies coated with powdered sugar were crunchy on the outside with a good smooth date filling inside the cookies. I like the baklava here! I would shop here again, but I would probably get a big box of assorted baklavas (for around $21) for the best value.
