NICE JOB KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.

Great food with a extremely friendly staff. They also have daily specials that cant be beat. So what is everyone waiting for come on and get off the couch and go try them, I promise you will do be dissatisfy. This come from a customer that has been there since the opening and never been disappointed. The prices are very reasonable. Jim & Lisa keep up the good work and after your two year anniversary you guys have grown a very nice place to sit and eat. NICE JOB!!!!! CB

Good breakfast spot near our summer house. Good food, food service, fair prices. That's all I need for breakfast when I don't want to cook.

The service is fast . Food was good. The waitress should be more talkative . And down to home conversation.

Probably not an issue but I'm a freak about that stuff. They make their own corned beef hash which was pretty good ( though mine is much better!). Their bread selection is also pretty good in that it's all hand sliced thick. However, on that note they did not have Rye bread- which is my go-to bread. Overall a good breakfast though not a great breakfast. I was happy we stopped in as we were all hungry.

Service on a Saturday noon seemed casual - no wait, got pointed towards a "high two-top" (waitress' words). I ordered some hot coffee and, more importantly, the chicken & waffles ($20). Now, this price point might seem more appropriate for Downtown Portsmouth or Boston, but it exists for a reason. Not only do you get a large portion of fried chicken, waffles, and syrup, its adorned with poached eggs and hollandaise sauce. Effectively, you're getting chicken & waffle eggs benedict. One would need quite the large appetite or have skipped another meal to finish it all.

No matter what and we understand how it is with servers, it's very hard for them to actually attend to one table. So we understand and we know how things are made. It takes time to make certain things that you order. It's not quick when certain items but when you order. I'm burger, and it's quicker Vs something more exotic. That's wonderful or something that takes longer to cook. So we waited and waited, and we got our order. And it was so amazing. It was just wonderful, we thank you so much for this wonderful day. My husband's filet mignon lacked flavor. The mashed potatoes were gummy and translucent. They should not have been served. My salmon special came out with the wrong sides, not once, but twice. They tried to give me those disgusting mashed potatoes and green beans, when the specials page said pilaf and asparagus. When I finally got the rice pilaf, it lacked seasoning. The asparagus were blackened. After being sent back twice, the salmon was warm, not hot. The pub food may be good. If you're looking for a burger and a beer, that meal might be enjoyed with a view of the golf course. Sorry Greenside, we're not coming back.

The good: - Takes reservations - good food options - probably a good view (it was too dark to tell) The bad: - It doesn't feel like a restaurant. It feels like some extra space they just set up like a restaurant. - Asked if they put croutons in the cesar salad. She didn't have an answer but i requested them. No croutons delivered, waitress never said anything. (I would have changed my order.) - Asked for extra dressing. It was delivered on the side. Odd? - My families meals arrived at the table and I still didn't receive my soup. I started to question if they forgot it as I sat watching everyone else eat. Soup arrived and like 3 minutes later my meal. - The French onion soup, where was the bread? The ugly: - The service. Our waitress Jasmine was new, which I can be empathetic towards but once we told her a few issues she was not apologetic. Also, found out she was new from another server we had to flag down to get out check as Jasmine disappeared. We told her all the issues and they did not apologize or send a manager our way to work it out. We did not get our waters refilled nor did we get second drinks (I was so thirsty!) No Jasmine in sight. We should have stuck to pizza delivery!

We had... - Philly cheesesteak: honestly quite happy with this. Had it with the onion rings (can also do fries, sweet potato fries, or cole slaw). Onion rings are from scratch. Soft bread and not too greasy - fish and chips: the fish is a full haddock fillet. Not as meaty as we would have liked, but like that it doesn't feel like we're getting fish and chips from a box. Fries are well seasoned Worth going at least once while at Steele Hill Resort.
