Been going here for years. Didn't know they got new owners - found that out. Watched them degrade and yell at their bartender in front of all of the patrons. Made her cry for NO reason. Heard the entire conversation. Disgusting behavior. Food was made wrong TWICE even after the bartender showed us it was put in correctly. Also was told they were shut down for trying to be a strip club Know your audience. Unfortunately will not be going back until the owners are changed. read more

Have made occasional visits over the past 10-15 years. Enjoyed sitting at the bar for a pizza and a few craft beers. Went in on Saturday evening at 6:30pm. There were 2 patrons, 1 bartender and the cook (I presume) sitting on the patio out front. The bartender couldn't be bothered to break away from her conversation to greet me. When she finally came over, I asked for a craft beer list. "We don't have one," she said and pointed to the tap handles and walked away to resume her conversation. I waited a solid 5 minutes for her to return. I have never felt so un-welcomed in an establishment. I walked out and she probably didn't;t even notice. I will never go back. read more

Food was very good, unfortunately service was horrible, we went in on a saturday at 11:45 we were immediately greeted and sat at the bar, after getting our drink order bartender came and got our food order our food came out in good time and was hot and delicious then we proceeded to sit at the bar for another 45 minutes while the bartender sat at the far end and waited for our bill he walked past us multiple times and hadn't said a word, mind you we were the only customers in here the entire time we were here. What a hidden gem! We randomly stopped in for the first time. Very friendly, feels like friend's kind of place. Had blackberry marg and it was delicious. Hubby said beer on tap was cold. Next time we will try food but definitely will be back! read more

Not enforcing mask policy at all. Pool table is open and h e to walk by it to get to bathrooms. Service is terrible. Two bartenders and maybe 25 people and ten minutes to get a beer even when you have food. Also apparently they only have one ketchup bottle for the entire restaurant. Don't come here. Stopped in here today on a whim, about 3:30 on a Saturday. Didn't even know this gem existed! Was very impressed, and it's tough to impress me. First of all, the place was really clean and that makes a huge first impression. Very good atmosphere, the staff was very friendly, courteous, and attentive. It was probably about 1/2 full. The UD game was on, so it got loud at times, but never obnoxious like other "sports bars" I've been to. LOVE the whiskey barrel tables! Bathroom was spotless. Fantastic beer selection (23 on tap), and really good prices on alcohol. And the food.... I could not stop saying how good it was! We ordered the hot dogs and I was amazed! My first visit to Pourhaus was for my high school reunion last weekend. I heard they had a great craft beer selection & they definitely do, there's a large board when you walk in to the right with all of the selections to choose from. I wonder who has to update this board weekly, its huge, sorry I didn't get a picture of it, I was catching up with my classmates. Great little place!! Staff is totally awesome ask for Brittany. A ton of different beers so hanging out is easy if you want to try different ones. I ordered pretzels and onion rings while I was there and they were killer. The beer cheese with the pretzels and the spicy whatever it was with the rings was bomb. I would like to be able to rate this place better because their buffalo chicken dip is great, but it about ends there. Service is slow and you get to hear the bartenders gripe a lot. Food is not very good at all. Plenty of TVs for sports though. Ample bar seating. They do have great tacos though if you're there on a Tuesday. I wish they offered the tacos anytime. Their only white wine option had not been refrigerated and tasted extremely disgusting as it had been open probably too long to still be serving. They do have pool, darts and a big patio. read more

It's been quite a few years since we've been here so I thought I'd write an updated review, even though it's still pretty danged good! Since the last visit, they've added some nice tables around the place, seems to me there's more seating now which is a great thing. One thing that hasn't changed is the awesome service! Out bartender was really fantastic, didn't catch her name but she was awesome! Very imformative about what they had on tap, even offered to let us try some out of a her personal growler that wasn't on tap, really cool! The food was pretty solid for bar food and I'm sure their pizza is still great, we only had appetizers this time around. After we paid and said we didn't need change, the bartender came back over to us after she had cashed our ticket our to thank us for the tip, that was really cool! It wasn't too crowded or loud, good mix of music, very clean inside, good selection of local craft beer on tap, good food, and amazing service! Discovered the Pourhaus a few months ago after moving to the area. Have been in about 5 times now and never disappointed. Beer is cold - nice selection. The food has been outstanding - not typical bar food. The Green Bean Fries are recommended. Nice selection of sandwiches that are the regulars plus unique ones as well. Just had the pizza last night and it was excellent as well - my new "go-to" place for pizza - fresh ingredients with crispy crust - not heavy or greasy at all. Would give Dewey's a run for their money. The atmosphere is just what my husband and I enjoy - some activity going on but laid back enough to be enjoyable and relaxing. 2 thumbs up to all the staff - from the cooks to the waitstaff. Under new ownership. Cleaned up inside. Great prices on food and drinks (make sure to try the pizza). Lots of great beers on tap and updated with the season, just recently added the Christmas Ale. They have pool tables, darts, and usually have a DJ or acoustic player either during the week or weekend. Defintely a nice "hole in the wall" place to go out and grab a drink and some pizza! read more

After an absence of 2 or 3 years, we decided to try the Pour Haus again. What a disappointment! First if all, the menu differed significantly from the menu posted on the web. Prices were higher than advertised. Second, there were gnats flying around the food which made it unappealing. The beer choices were pretty bad. The people I was with didn't like any of the choices. I ordered nachos which I really enjoyed a few years ago. However, these were short on the chili and cheese. All in all, we were sorry to see that the place was pretty bad. Great beer and bourbon selection and really amazing food! They smoke their own meat in-house and frequently have specials that incorporate their in-house smoked meats with different flavors (smoked pork sriacha tacos, BLT using their smoked pork butt, interesting salads, etc.). They also have excellent homemade chili and soups, great chicken wings, and unique and yummy pizzas (Rueben pizza, coney dog pizza, chicken BBQ, to name a few). Atmosphere is fun and inviting too. A great little bar with an excellent selection of craft beer & bourbon and above average bar food. The pizza is delicious and you have several varieties to choose from. The wraps are wonderful and toasted. Try the Buffalo Chicken or the Philly Cheesesteak. The burgers are tasty and the Pour Haus offers several different options. The Caprese Burger was delicious! We (My wife & I) were up in Dayton visiting my parents with my sister & brother-in-law. We wanted to go get drinks and it was a rather late (for the Miamisburg/Centerville area) at 11 o'clock. We tried other places but they closed in like 5 minutes. I remember there used to be a Fox & Hound close by, as we pulled into the parking lot we noticed it was no longer a Fox & Hound. We also saw Poorhaus in the corner and decided to give it a try since we absolutely loved the name. We walk in while the DJ was playing "Informer" by Snow, which was a good sign in our books. They also carried Purple Haze by Abita which is one of our favorite beers. So great start so far. Well, the music just got worse (so much Lil Wayne, so much) and the people just got more interesting. After a few drinks though, you get used to the place. The only great thing about this place is the people watching. Which isn't all that great but it will definitely keep your conversations going. read more

Owners/management have continuously rid their bar of great bartenders and service. First reason I don't like going in this establishment anymore. Secondly, I find the management of this place, or lack there of, completely inappropriate in certain instances. The only thing that would take this to 5 stars would be something to handle the hanging smell/smoke of the kitchen. I am sure if I was a regular, like others seated around us, we would have had amazing service but since this was our first time in we saw our waitress to take our order and deliver our food, I had to go to the bar to get our check and pay.
