Ulysses did my pre purchase inspection at Hofeinz there on Plano Parkway. I live in Austin but they had a good deal going on a MB Metris Cargo van but I needed a PPI before going all the way up there. After I hired him, Ulysses coordinated a time the next day (Saturday) and was able to complete the PPI including the test drive. He quickly texted me pictures and reached out to talk. Because of his inspection I was able to put $500 down to hold the van until I could get up there on Monday. When I test drove it, everything checked out just like Ulysses said. His inspection showed wear on the tires...and after I purchased it, the dealership took it in for a MB recall and I ended up with 5 new tires! I found The Pre-Buy Guys on Yelp while looking for someone to perform a pre-purchase inspection on a Jaguar. I had Ulysses check out a car that was located at a Plano dealer since I live far from Texas. Like many used cars, this one looked great in the photos. Ulysses was very responsive, inspected the car a couple of days after I called him, pulled all Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs), performed a detailed visual inspection, and provided a written report. Based on his feedback that there were a number of DTCs, the car was parked outside, and was very dirty (naturally, it was clean in the auto dealer photos), I passed. This was $200+ well spent. As good fortune would have it, I came across and purchased a much better Jag soon thereafter of the same year, model, color, etc. I haven't met Ulysses other than to speak/text with him on a number of occasions, but I can highly recommend his services. read more
