The decor from the outside looks welcoming and friendly... when you walk inside the vibes is nowhere the same. It has cute gifting ideas.. the coffee was nothing specular even though it was the tiramisu latte. The only good was the pastry. Not a fan. Maybe it was just that coffee or the barista who made it. And it was super slow with a lot of customers waiting, even some coming in to check on their drink orders.

The café is conveniently located right in the heart of the city. They offer one hour of free parking in a small lot shared with nearby businesses, not very large, but definitely better than nothing. There's a good mix of indoor and outdoor seating, making it easy to find a spot to sit and relax. I ordered a latte along with a butter croissant, and both were delicious. They also have a small shop inside where you can browse and buy mugs, shirts, and other fun items. Overall, it's a great spot and one I'd definitely recommend.

On a walk through downtown Temecula early in the morning, we decided to pop in for a hot drink. We warmly greeted by the staff upon entrance. Plus the warm environment of the shop made us feel at home. The menu offers some unique drinks and some common drinks you find at other coffee shops. A drink that stood out to me was a coffee and orange juice plus other items: served cold. Apparently a drink designed by a staff member to wake you up in the morning. The shop also offers beautiful looks pastries and cakes that I unfortunately did not get a chance to try. I did try a matcha chai that was so yummy that I wanted more but resisted. This coffee shop was a great find. Especially enjoyable during off season and early in the morning. During this time you find the locals stopping in for a quick drink and snack. Cheers!

Stopped in with 5 min till close and the staff couldn't be friendlier or more welcoming. Asked about the difference between the two mocha varieties they offer and the lady kindly explained and helped me decide. The place inside looks very chill for a sit down study spot or to mindlessly people watch. The Mayan mocha with oat milk was delicious. Not too sweet and wonderful foamy texture with hints of the cinnamon and spice they put on it. The price was appropriate for a shop like this. Recommend.

Cute spot. I had the Aztec mocha and coffee cake lattes both with 2% milk. I liked the powdered finish on the froth. The Aztec mocha was good but not as rich as I would have liked and it was missing some spiced flavor as it tasted like a normal mocha. The coffee cake latte was good but really sweet toward the end. Cute and trendy spot with lots of people ! A good quick grab for anyone in town. I appreciate the decent sizing. Parking is tough because it's in downtown. Overall a god local spot.

Came here when visiting a friend in Temecula since she talks highly about this place. They were pretty busy when we came on a later Saturday afternoon. It took around 10 mins to order and another 10 mins for the drinks to come out. We ordered the tiramisu latte and BSC (brown sugar caramel) latte. Both drinks were decent and not overly sweet. I enjoyed the BSC more as it was sweeter and had more flavor. The espresso was strong and good quality but had a slight nutty aftertaste which I wasn't a super big fan of. We also tried the coffee cake which was tasty, not dry and nicely sweet. Indoor and outdoor seating were full when we arrived but we were able to get a table shortly after. Since it was packed, it was pretty loud and hard to hear my friends.

I ordered the Belgian Mocha and it was delish! It was a well crafted, balanced drink and the espresso shot was pulled well. I appreciated that all the sauces and syrups were made in house. I also ordered a sea salt, chocolate chip cookie and it was great! You can tell everything is made with love in this cafe. I enjoyed the warm, cozy atmosphere and the staff provided great service.

Came here with some friends since one raves about the tiramisu latte! It was pretty bustling considering it was a Saturday afternoon. Waited around 10 mins to order and another 10 mins for our drinks. We all got the tiramisu latte and one BSC (brown sugar caramel) latte. I'm not a huge coffee person so they were pretty strong for me but I could taste the quality of the espresso. I would've liked the tiramisu latte to be a little sweeter, but the BSC was sweeter and flavorful. Seating was full but we luckily snagged a table. Drinks were around $7 each with oat milk, which is decent for the size. We found free street parking a few blocks away

The Press Espresso is a very chic and charming coffee shop. They have lots of food options as well as a lengthy drink menu. I ordered a pink flamingo tea latte and it was AMAZING! Not too sweet, not too bland, it was perfect and the color was stunning. My friend ordered the matcha tea latte and it didn't quite meet her expectations. Not enough matcha, way too much milk. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll be back for that flamingo tea.

Love the atmosphere of this cafe! Cozy and quaint which makes it perfect to grab a coffee and read a book. They have an assortment of pastries and food to choose from. The service is super friendly and kind too. I got a Lemon Poppyseed cupcake that was decorated with cute guava star on top. Overall, a gem of a coffee shop in Old Town Temecula and would visit again!

I stopped by The Press Espresso in Temecula yesterday and tried the Banana Foster Iced Latte, and wow--it was so good. The banana and caramel flavors really shined without being overpowering, which I loved. It still had a strong, smooth coffee flavor, and you can definitely tell they use high-quality beans. I'll probably be dreaming about this latte for a while and will definitely be back to try more drinks.

Got a plain iced coffee. Tasted fine, nothing special. Cost over 5 dollars!!!! For plain iced coffee with a splash of nonfat milk. Over $5!!! And they don't put a lid on it so I got to spill it on my pants while carrying it out. 3 stars for decent coffee and old town ambiance, but it's seriously overpriced and inconvenient to transport due to no lids. I ordered an iced coffee not a cold brew. If they gave me a cole brew then they gave me the wrong thing. And no that costs around $2.50-3 anyway at other establishments. And there were no lids on for iced drinks on the bar and I wasn't expecting offered one. So the response from the business is both condescending and inaccurate. The girls making our drinks were super sweet. The dark brown haired male cashier with the nose ring not so much- he seemed like he didn't want to be there. No greeting and very robotic in his interactions, however, the female baristas were so kind that it made up for his lack of personality. We ordered two hot lattes- one rose and one lavender. Both came out with beautiful latte art and so picturesque with dried rose and lavender garnishes on top. The lattes themselves were expertly curated and smooth tasting. They offer other items like scones, muffins, oatmeal and other continental breakfast items, mainly pastries. The coffee shop itself has ample seating. When I'm back in the area again, I would return here. read more

Cute little coffee shop. They have tables, a couch, and some benches to sit inside, also some outdoor seating. The ambience of the inside is great. Its well lit, music playing, but not too loud. Its relaxing and also a good spot to get some work or reading done. Had a honey lavender latte and it was delicious. Perfectly sweetened and very natural tasting- not like the artifical syrups other coffee shops usually use. Also had a cinnamon muffin, it was really soft and not too sweet. Exceptional coffee! They offer drip, espresso, and pour over. I tried the nutella, hazelnut specialty, coffee. Was medium roast and served w/heavy cream so tasted like a Latte. We are coffee snobs and always seek out the best coffee in Anytown USA. This was our 2nd visit to this coffee house because we enjoy the vibe and the quality of their coffee. It was my 400pm coffee break and I always order an iced coffee with a bit of sugar and a splash of oat or almond milk. My coffee came out just right with the perfect flavor and sweetness. read more

***300th Review*** goes to... The Press Espresso in Old Town Temecula! I will say right off the bat, I LOVE THIS PLACE!! It's in the brown building shared with the Old Town Antique Faire found on the corner of 4th Street and Old Town Front Street. I'd never been here before, but was pleasantly surprised to see that there is a small parking lot right in front of the building. Wheelchair/handicap parking is available as well as a ramp for accessibility to the premises. I was going through some pics on Yelp and came across Vincent C.'s pic of their blueberry dream herbal tea. If there is blueberry anything, I will try it, and that's exactly what I did on MLK Jr. day of 2021. It was an unusually warm day for the season, so that drink was the perfect antidote to quench my thirst. After walking in and checking out the sweets they have to offer, I went with one of their sea salt chocolate chip cookies, and a "lazy daisy coconut maple" donut, which happens to be vegan AND gluten-free! I don't have any food restrictions, and I certainly am not vegan, so I was a wee bit skeptical on how it would taste. It looked really good, so I HAD to have it. The blueberry dream was yummy! I asked if it was possible to sample it. I don't like flavorless teas when they're supposed to have a fruity hint to it. Thankfully, Josh, the friendly cashier was able to give me a taste. It was good on its own, but I chose to add honey to sweeten mine up just a little bit ($.35 upcharge). Once I hit that first sip, it was on my level! The DONUT... it was pure bliss! This somewhat "healthy" donut was super moist and, to my surprise, not excessively sweet. Okay, maybe the glaze on top was kinda sweet, but it was soooooo damn good!! I tried to only eat half of it, but who was I kidding?! Lol I ended up eating the entire thing and only chipped a piece off the cookie. The cookie itself tasted great! It was super chewy on the inside. I like how they sprinkle enough sea salt over the top so you get a bit of it in every bite. You're gonna wanna try this cookie, believe me. It's a really good size, too, barely fit in my hand! This place is so cute and charming! It feels so warm and inviting when you walk in. If the door is closed, you'll get a nice whiff of the baked goodies once you open it and walk through. In addition to their drinks and baked goods, they sell a few shirts and hoodies, and a few gadgets for the coffee connoisseur. The employees here are all very friendly and polite. They are masked and require patrons to wear them too. There are social distancing markers on the floor. You will definitely want to come here if you are a coffee lover or an herbal tea fan. They have great lattes, too! I went back the very next day and got the same donut, another cookie (which btw they can warm up for you if you want), the Black Sugar Caramel latte and the Honey Lavender latte. Gifted the honey lavender, and he liked it. =) I tasted both, and I love them!! You can choose what kind of milk you want in them, too. I chose whole and 2%. Can't wait to try out their other location at Vail Ranch Headquarters. I'll be hitting that one up, soon! THANK YOU Vincent C.!! ETA: in all my excitement for this place, I totes forgot to say that I also ordered a slice of their CHEESECAKE with fresh lavender on top. The lady asked if I wanted a drizzle of honey on it, and whipped cream and of course I said "YES, please!!" Oh my heavens, I make a damn good cheesecake, but I have to admit, this one probably blows mine to pieces, lol!! It's so damn creamy, silky, and oh so smooooooth!!! Just looking at it made my tongue happy! You need to get this, too. Just sayin'!! lol read more

Brought a friend visiting me here on a Saturday and it was packed. The announced wait time was 40mins for a cup of joe. Got my usual Tiramisu latte within 20mins so that was great. But the management/ planned capacity of this location can definitely use some improvement. read more

Located in a rustic plaza on the main street of Old Town, this Press Espresso offers a cozy atmosphere indoors, as well as picturesque outdoor seating overlooking the busy, touristy streets. As I was visiting Temecula for the weekend, my friend recommended the Bananas foster latte at The Press Espresso, and it surely did not disappoint! The baristas fill the cup BEYOND the brim, to the point that you'll definitely spill a bit as you take it to the table: you can also really taste the banana flavor in the drink, very creamy as well. Definitely made for a relaxed, post-lunch affair while sitting outdoors and looking out to the bustling atmosphere of Old Town. Very much approve! read more

Delicious! We stopped here for two lattes. I got a BSC latte recommended by other reviews and it was just as I expected. I also got a yummy breakfast pastry it was a honey almond bar that was flaky and delicious. Highly recommend this place. Will be back for more! read more

I enjoyed my visit. I like the menu selection. I got the honey lavender. Next time I'm planning on getting the butterscotch. The cashier was friendly and was helpful with my choices. I appreciated the service. They have outdoor seating and followed Covid rules. The price is set high but which coffee shop doesn't. It's in Old Town Temecula- you can find parking on the street or one of the lots. read more

The Press Espresso is located right in the heart of Old Town Temecula on Old Town Front St. It's in a small plaza that looks older, but the inside of The Press Espresso is very modern and hipster looking. They have interesting lattes that I haven't really seen before including: Belgian mocha, tiramisu latte, coffee cake latter, Thai coconut espresso, rose vanilla latter, and a BSC latte which is what I got. // DRINKS // Iced BSC Latte: BSC latte stands for "brown sugar caramel latte". I was debating on this or the tiramisu latter, but I decided to go for the BSC latte. I was expecting it to be too sweet, but it actually wasn't that bad. My only complaint was that the sugar bits at the bottom did not dissolve. So I had to stir it a bit in order for it to dissolve in the latte. The Press Espresso was delicious and I would definitely go back to try out some of the other interesting espresso drinks that they offer. It seems like they have a featured/limited time menu list at the entrance which changes once in a while. read more

Don't look up while you are in the shop or you'll see the most dust you've probably ever seen in a restaurant. The coffee and pastries are great but this place looks like not a single part of it has been cleaned in years so that's why I have to give it a lower review. I really don't want to sit down in this place. Their product is great and would love for them to just put some more of that love into taking care of their shop! read more

Honestly, I would have given it a 5 star review. However, the barista taking my order was very rude and gave some attitude. Personally, If I was a barista I would be very welcoming and kind, especially since I stated I was a first time customer; I would've done everything I could to make that person feel welcomed and want to return. Other than the service, I loved the coffee, but I'm not sure if I would come back due to the service i received. Maybe I would send my kid to pick up the order just to have the coffee again. This was such a cute and trendy coffee shop and was so unexpected for the buildings exterior, which gave me Wild West vibes. I loved that their menu changes seasonally! They keep things fresh. The baristas were all so friendly, even though it was a busy place. I seem to stop by here every time I come to Temecula. Definitely a great place to stop in and get a cappuccino on a cool day, or an iced latte on a hot one. And it's right at the end of the main street, so it's a great place to start and end your day. The style inside is amazing, which we can finally dine in and take advantage of. This place is truly a dream for any fancy coffee lover. There are wide variety of drink choices and the staff is always nice and helpful. I have tried the Vanilla Rose, Honey Lavender and Honey Cinnamon. All were delightful. I don't think you can possibly make a wrong drink choice at this place. My goal is to eventually try everything. Also the feeling after drinking each one is a clean energy. No weird sweat or heart beating fast like when you drink low quality coffee (like Starbucks). This place is pretty much the same price as Starbucks so I don't get why you would even go there lol.. Do you taste buds a favor and try this place! read more

This is my favorite spot to stop by after a day at the wineries to get a caffeine pick-me-up for the drive back. Great drinks, I love their chai and lavender lattes. If you have celiac disease like I do, I would consider this more gluten-friendly than celiac-safe. The gluten-free scones were displayed next to the vegan scones. They weren't touching and were spaced apart, but there is still a possibility of cross-contamination. The staff wore gloves when handling the pastries and seemed to take the proper precautions. They were very upfront about their food handling practices, answered all of my questions, and provided excellent customer service. The café itself was very clean, beautifully designed, and had a welcoming atmosphere. I originally wanted to order the Fruity Pebbles Matcha, which was a limited-time spring drink. Unfortunately, they couldn't make it with oat milk because the Fruity Pebbles mixture was already premade with whole milk. Instead, I ordered the Brown Butter Toffee Latte with oat milk. I got the 12 oz because I wasn't sure I'd finish it, but honestly, I should have ordered the larger size. It was that good. The flavor was rich without being overly sweet, which I really appreciated since I don't usually enjoy overly sugary drinks. My brother ordered the Peach Bellini and added a splash of lemonade. He let me try it, and it was incredibly refreshing. The peach flavor came through nicely without being overpowering, and the balance between the peach puree, black tea, and lemonade was just right. He also ordered a brioche tart topped with raspberries, blackberries, and vanilla custard, which he said was fluffy, flavorful, and delicious. I would definitely come back when I'm in the area for another Brown Butter Toffee Latte and gluten-free scone. Just a little disclaimer from someone who's still pretty new to navigating celiac disease: I'm still learning what works best for me and what risks I'm personally comfortable taking. While I understand there is always a possibility of cross-contamination in a shared facility, I also know that living with celiac and multiple food allergies can feel very limiting at times. For me, seeing a business be transparent, answer questions honestly, and take reasonable precautions helps me make an informed decision. Everyone's comfort level and sensitivity is different, so if you have celiac disease, please use your own judgment and do what feels safest for you.

The food quality has always been excellent. I like high-protein meals, and the steak frites with chimichurri sauce is one of my favorites. Well I can say this is hands down the best coffee shop in town. Also makes my top 3 list . Which is a BOLD statement . Always fresh and made from scratch . SO excited that Temecula finally has a "real" (read: not Starbucks) coffee shop. The coffee is top notch. My personal favorites are their pour-overs and nitro coffee, which you can even buy a growler of to take home and enjoy. The owner is super sweet and she makes the most delicious homemade vanilla bean syrup. To top it off, the ambiance and decorations are just perfect. I go to this place like 5 times a week, I'm not even kidding. I usually get the Mayan mocha because it's bomb AF, but today I tried something new and did the bananas foster coffee...OMG sooooooooo good, probably the best iced coffee I've ever had. Also the really big cookies and the dream bars are on point!!! Anyone who gives this place a one star review deserves to be throat punched IMO. read more

I randomly found this place as I was running errands. The pumpkin pie iced latte was sooo delicious. But what really impressed me was the leek lemon quiche. Wow! One of the best London Fog I have ever had. It was full of flavor, it had small details of lavender that gives good flavor when you drink it. Their strawberry cheesecake is a must try. I recommend this place to everyone who wants to try and visit Temecula. read more
