We visited Cedar Mill Liquor and Cigar for the first time and were very impressed. I spent my first 4 years of legally drinking in California where you could get your hard alcohol in the grocery so I'm still not use to having to visit a separate store. Most of the liquor stores I've visited have felt sketchy. Not this one. The store is bright, clean, and well organized. This is likely to become my first choice for all alcohol needs including beer, wine, and cider that I can get at any grocery. The selection was outstanding. We ended up with 10 different bottles of cider and beer. The guy working was very friendly and had good recommendations when we asked about milk stouts (my current favorite beer). They're also planning to open a growler / crowler filling station. I look forward to seeing what they end up having available. It seems they keep an updated list of what beers they sell on their website so you can scout it out ahead of time. The whole setup from the store to the website is very well thought out. Refused to let me buy a cup(nothing alcoholic) because the woman at the counter said I looked very young and was probably using a fake ID. After another employee refused to sell me the cup because he "has to go with what the first person believes" the manager of the store came out and said my ID was real and apologized. Wouldn't even have been as upset if it wasn't for the fact this whole ordeal was over a copper cup. If you look young I would say go to the liquor store in the QFC. Smaller store but everyone there has been awesome. read more

Our normal place is closed on Sundays. So I ran over to Cedar Mill Liquor & Cigar. I wanted to have some nice cocktails for a special dinner that night. They didn't disappoint! Don't let the small store front from the parking lot fool ya' This place is a nice and big inside with lots of choices and LOTS of local spirits and goods. I walked in a little dazed and confused on the store set up and had a green hair smile asking if I needed anything and then pointed me to the vodkas. Didn't have a chance to check out the smokes but the people in that area were smiling and chatting about blends. Looked like a nice selection! Nice vibe inside this place. This is the best liquor store I have ever been to. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and always conversational. Not to mention, they have an amazing selection of liquor, beer, wine, and cigars! They also have an area specifically dedicated to local distilleries. I visit about once or twice a week, been shopping here for a little over a year. The staff is fantastic (wish I knew all their names!) and they're always extremely friendly and helpful if you can't find what you need. The store is literally spotless. The best thing is they have a TON of selection but the store itself doesn't feel cramped at all. Finding what you need is simple because of their signs (very helpful). If you're not interested in liquor, they have a huge selection of beers, as well as mixers and a selection of cigars. They even have fun things, like mini red plastic cups, novelty flasks and other impulse buys that add to their already huge selection. This is my favorite liquor store and they continue to not disappoint. So we all know what's in a liquor store, but what makes this place my favorite? The new store is huge clean and clear. The are open on Sunday. the selection is amazing they seem to carry everything, even when i can't find it at other liquor stores. And lastly, i was in there recently to get my scotch and they're out of it. OLCC has decided to not carry it anymore. So what do they do? get on the phone and computer and tracked down three bottles for me. Unfortunately it was in Eugene, but for them to have gone that distance to find it for me, AMAZING. read more

What a fantastic liquor store! It's pretty big, clean and nice - hardwood floors and all! They've got a great selection, and carry a lot of local products. Of course, their prices are controlled by the state, so they're the same as all the other liquor stores. You won't find a nicer liquor store on the Westside. They have an unbelievably diverse selection of liquors, top of the line beer, mixers, bitters, and bar tools. I make a 20 minute detour from my house to shop here even though there are plenty of closer options for me. The staff is helpful, respectful, and they don't look like they climbed out of a dumpster (which can't be said for most liquor shops). If you love liquor or beer you owe it to yourself to check this place out. read more

Good lighting, selection and layout. They have a lot of cigars and liquors to chose from. I read they had a liquor I really wanted to try on their list of local goods on their website. I walked the store and but couldn't find it. I spoke to the very nice woman behind the counter and she had some in stock right there. Also was able to pick up a lotto ticket. This huge liquor store has everything (cigars too) and they were really friendly. Looks are deceiving. It's in an old strip mall shopping area across from Safeway... you barely notice it. I'm skipping that tiny store on Bvtn Hillsdale and will go here from now on. Thumbs up! read more

If your going to buy liquor, this is the place to do so. Many liquor stores have a dark and unfriendly appearance. This one stands out. It's big, bright, and open. Aisles and Isles of libations await you. If your a true alcohol connoisseur, this is your place. So much selection it's almost overwhelming. Service is good too. I have been turned away twice because I had one of my teenagers with me. The sign on the door allows minors when accompanied by a parent but the staff aren't smart enough to manage this simple regulation. Don't go if you have your kid with you. I purchase liquor here frequently, but I purchased a Partagas 1845 black label bravo and it started unraveling after my second drag. Obviously it wasn't kept at the proper humidity. I will never buy a cigar here again. Also, the staff has no knowledge of cigars. If you're looking for a good cigar and knowledgeable staff, head over to timber valley tobacco. Their humidor is fairly new, so its possible the don't know how to use it yet. read more
