We walked into here after deciding not to wait two hours for at other brunch places. Our party of 9 was seated within 5 minutes. I was excited to see fever tree tonic on the menu and so many fun flavors. The gin and tonic was great, you get to pick your tonic and gin flavors. The goat cheese dip was delicious. I wasn't sure what to expect but the marinara paired well. The Shepards Pie was disappointing. It was way too much potatoes and cheese. They missed the potato crust and did a full cheese crust. This is the place we decided to eat&spend time on St Patrick's day while in Nashville. It didn't disappoint. When we got there we were told 90min wait, we headed to the bar with everyone else for some drinks. They ladies behind the bar dis a great job at checking to make sure we had drinks. The cream ale was good. Finally after only an hour, they sat us at a table, live music playing, everyone having a good time. My Reuben sandwich was as good as getting it here in NY. Oh the Pub... The servers were great the fish and chips BANGIN! I came here for some Thursday Bingo Shenanigans!!! Thinking this would be fun right? WRONG. We enjoyed a late lunch after doing some boot shopping. To start our meal, I had the King's Old Fashioned. I have had a lot of Old Fashions and this one was one of the best. We also had a Scotch Egg appetizer. It was good. The outside was crispy and the egg was perfect. I had the Fish and Chips (small portion). We were in Nashville for Valentine's Day weekend and staying just around the corner from The Pub. We stopped in on Sunday for lunch, there was a good crowd and we were sat right away. You know when you're in a nice place and you can't tell whether it's a tourist stop or locals. People looked very comfortable and food and drinks being taken to the tables around us looked great. My wife ordered the fish and chips, wow, what a nice piece of fish. The breading was light and the chips were nice and crispy. We could have both ate from that plate, and for the most part that's what we ended up doing. I ordered the Reuben, it was so good! The problem was that my wife looked defeated with the size of her plate so we ended up taking the sandwich with us back to the hotel. And it was just a good a few hours later as it was when served fresh. This is a place that you could easily have a few drinks, a great meal, and be able to walk the shops of the Gulch. We were wandering the Gulch on a Sunday morning and struggling to find anywhere to eat without a super long line. The Pub was busy inside but able to immediately seat us. Our server was awesome- so friendly and attentive. I opted for the Hangover in a Bowl and loved every bite. It was so good. We also devoured the fried pickles, which come as spears, not chips. Wow!!! What an amazing brunch!! Stumbled upon this pub (The Pub) after seeing lines stretched along the street for a few breakfast spots. Thank god we did. We walked in as their doors were just opening for brunch service. We thought we were just going to grab a pint and head back to the hotel until we read the menu... Hold the Hangover Bowl, Drunken Waffles, Bloody Mary Menu... WHAT?! Jackpot!! This place was the real deal authentic English Pub. Booths, Bar, tile floors, all of it was super clean and nice. My friends and I were on a girls trip to Nashville and wanted to do brunch in the Gulch. We found The Pub and there was significantly less wait than other places nearby. The interior of The Pub was pretty cool and decorated to match the theme. To start, we had the Goat Cheese Dip. The goat cheese was super whipped and super delicious!! We also loved the pita it came with to dip. For my entree, I had the Nashville Hot Chicken Sliders. They were super dry and not very hot at all. I did like the honey it came with. Like others, we were going to try and get in to the Biscuit Love but the line....so we wondered over here. I ordered the fish and chips, my husband got the American Breakfast and my friend got the Chicken and Biscuit. We did not take photos because to be honest, we were starving. All I can say is the food was not worth the wait. I ended up at The Pub Nashville for breakfast after attempting to visit a different breakfast place that had over an hour wait. When I arrived at The Pub Nashville my party was able to be sat rather quickly. The inside of the restaurant is large. They can easily accommodate small to large groups, I had a group of five and had no problem. I can tell that the staff was a little over the nonstop tourist coming in because our waiter wasn't that patient but still nice enough. Unfortunately the restaurant looked a little understaffed and there were a lot of large groups. I ordered the "Hold the Hungover Bowl" with buttermilk chicken. The ingredients of the bowl sounds like I couldn't go wrong but I was very wrong. Even though my party was seated really quickly actually receiving the food was another story. It took a very long time to get our food. At one point I forgot what I ordered because people that were sat not to long before me were already finishing up there food and heading out. When my table finally got our food it was lukewarm. The chicken was a new kind of dry. It could rival a Popeyes biscuit. Surprisingly the biscuits were the most delicious part of the dish. I ended up getting jam for the biscuit so I could make that my main meal. The rest of the bowl was bland and required a lot of hot sauce and salt to make it semi decent. I was able to have enough food leftover to eat at a later time but I ended up throwing the leftovers away because it wasn't the dry chicken. The Pub Nashville was a complete waste of money. If you find yourself visiting here, just limit yourself to the drinks and maybe a biscuit. read more
