The macchiato tea arrived on request well after our meal and didn't have the ginger Moshira had offered us last time. I got a super small sandwich (too small for an adult) a small soup and very small slice of pie... overall meal was $40. The pie slice was $10 they don't have prices anywhere on the printed menu they give you inside. Why would a slice of pie be $10 is it made with gold flakes? (There was no gold ) it was just overpriced. I would not recommend this place at all aside from the very amazing staff (don't diss your staff pureganic it's your savage business model that we hate!!!) Considering this food is vegan I wasn't sure why it was so expensive as there is no need for the high meat prices as there is no meat here. The only thing I can call this is maybe 'COVID pricing'.... I know all businesses are having a hard time so I still payed for the full meal and ate it but yeah... maybe don't go here it wasn't that great tasting very dry I had to add hot sauce. I've driven pretty close to this cafe so many times while traveling to New England, but I've always been so destination-focused that I never stopped here. Well, boy am I glad that I did! This place is definitely a hidden gem. I really wouldn't pick this part of NY for some vegan, gluten-free, organic cafe, but I would be wrong. Let me start by saying I wasn't excited for this place because the pictures seemed very sculpted and somewhat artificial from the business owner. However, just go to the cafe. Walk in, and you'll be amazed and happy you did. The food looks and tastes incredible. It's healthful but not "that" kind of healthy, because it doesn't skimp on fat or salt or oils, it just uses all the good stuff. They have an amazing take on spaghetti and meatballs- spaghetti squash and mushroom based meatballs. There is also a raw falafel! YES! There's a tasty kale caesar, and anything with avocado has won me over. What I really appreciate is the attention to the aesthetic quality of the desserts (tarts) and the flavor. Yes, it's gluten free, but it'll do just fine. I'd pick their desserts over most other gluten free vegan desserts any day of the week - although I'm a fan of way more pecans in pecan tart and more raspberry in raspberry chocolate desserts. Great quality, good flavor. Texture works well! I like their quick bread too - chocolate zucchini, yum! I'm sad to have missed breakfast, but I hope to try it one day soon. If I could give 0 stars I would. I asked for an iced matcha latte and the man behind the counter proceeded to make the matcha and heat up the coconut milk he then put it over ice which all the ice melted so I asked for an additional cup of ice and a little extra cold milk. One of the other workers gave me the extra milk and then he comes and tells me that will actually be $3 more dollars after already spending $7 on the bad drink I told him I would not be paying that and he said well it's $3 for next time HA next time there will never be a next time. Very very very overpriced organic foods. Five dollars for one teeny peanut butter cookie. I understand GF and organics but wow! I have shopped at many health food stores in the city and Westchester but did not pay $5 for a fit of cookie bThe teeny muffins look good but self service. The man behind the counter ignores you. Organic Pharmer was way better imho. The chocolate raspberry flavor muffin is delicious though. Orange cranberry ok. Service is awful. They just want brunches to drink alcohol and overpriced watered juices. Kosher does not mean such overpriced stuff. And no way that muffin is a half pound anyway. Then they put it in a plastic and a very fancy plastic custom shopping bag. Reduce the plastic for the environment and the prices by using a paper bag! read more

The food is always really fresh and made with clean ingredients that don't compromise on taste. 1st review -I went in excited and left disappointed. Everything looked sooo good and I just wanted to try everything! But then this women served me and other people with no gloves made my smoothie with no gloves swerved my food from the salad bar with no gloves. I was truly disgusted and it was sad bc she was clearly a manager or superior just because your not a regular worker doesn't mean you don't have germs! And this makes me think if the people in the kitchen even bother wearing gloves they probably doesn't so I would star far away!!!! Since I turned vegetarian about 2 years ago, this lovely cafe offers the healthiest and most delicious non-animal food from main dishes to desserts to drinks. As I have learned from the past two years, preparing vegetarian meals that are tasty is not as easy as flipping meat on a grill. I was by the area and was in the mood for a Kale Salad. I searched salads on yelp and Pureganic Cafe came up. I walked up to the counter and saw that you can create your own salad. I choose the Kale salad that is made with avocado dressing. I added avocado, quinoa, lentils, and tofu. All ingredients were fresh and delicious. They also serve a great amount. The avocado toast was delicious but cold by the time I arrived-which was at exactly the time the Yelp app said it would be ready. Also-the Cauliflower soup was bland and lukewarm. However-when I ordered a $7.25 Tumeric latte it took about 15 to make and the taste wS deeply inferior to saythe least...although I can taste that the oat milk is homemade-there is no coffee in the drink... First time here. Had the mushroom burger, the lentil burger, and the butternut squash soup. I like that the rolls are substantial, not your ordinary soft white hamburger roll. Still, they are on the hard side, which makes it difficult to bite without the "burger" coming out the other side. You would think that for a mushroom burger they would use portabello, but they use a stringy variety instead -not great with the barbecue sauce - which makes for a somewhat messy experience. The lentil burger is better. The soup is good but bland. I would add a pear puréed with the squash, and finish it with some olive oil and roasted pumpkin seeds. We didn't try any, but the desserts look yummy. read more

I was hoping I had found a wonderful place that would fit me in a daily basis. I believe that I should not of been charged à la cart for a simple shake that had almond milk, bananas, protein powder, and spinach. Paid, tipped...- and realized it was a first and final visit. Just had the most amazing brunch! Started with the sampler that was out of this world with the Mediterranean flavors! The grape leaves with brown rice are delicious. I had never had the lentil rolls before and couldn't stop eating them, not to mention the tasty almond hummus! I was full by the time my falafel bowl came but I managed to taste all of it before packing it to devour at home. My daughter took home the penne bolognese and we brought home the fabulous apple tarts!! Everything was worth every penny. This place is still a game changer with respect to "authentic" organic, vegan, gluten free kosher fare. Honestly, I have tried practically every vegan restaurant out there, including in NYC and I can say that nothing compares. Yes, there are others juice places and restaurants with "vegan options", but nothing comes close to Pureganic Cafe. The quality of ingredients is second to none. I tasted everything on there delicious menu (and then some). I am literally there twice a day everyday. I am always greeted with a smile and a staff eager to prepare a yummy meal.
