    Sticky toffee pudding. Very good.

A lively spot with a great selection of elevated pub classics, served by friendly and well informed staff. It's a great spot to hit before a concert or sporting event given its perfect location. Mix of corporate and regular downtown goers varying on the night of the week you are there.

We went for a special occasion to The Rabbit Hole. I probably would've more likely given a 3.5. But since you don't have an ability to give a .5, I actually pushed it forward to a four star. It's located in the Scotiiabank Plaza at King and Bay. Entrance is closest to the Adelaide side of that building. You enter on the ground floor level, but then you have to walk up some stairs to actually get to the restaurant if you see the place with the kegs on the side of the stairs, you're in the right spot! You'll have to go buy those kegs later if you want to use the bathrooms cause that's where they are. Once you get upstairs, it's a quite nice looking pub area ( maybe little bit more higher end than some pubs ). We specifically went there because in December 2025 they had a special where they were doing a beef Wellington every day until it sold out. The price tag was a bit steeper at $60, although I have to say it was pretty good. Do I think it was worth the $60, well? I think the jury still out on that one. The service was very nice. The server came and checked on us periodically, and I did let them know that it was a special birthday for my partner, and so they actually arranged a nice to surprise and brought a special dessert out after the main meal. It was nice to get something sweet to finish the meal (comp'd). The Wellington was very good. It was probably just a little overcooked for me. I prefer mine more like medium rare and it was probably more like medium well done. I might've liked it better if it had not been so well done. However, it was still pretty good and a very nice flavor and it came with mashed potatoes and a really lovely gravy and some nice roasted vegetables. Atmosphere is pretty lively, I would say that there's not a lot of privacy because the tables are very close together. That was kind of a so-so thing in my book, but not a big deal. It is a pub after all. Also, that's what you can expect in those types of establishments. So it was quite enjoyable, it was also my first time there. Not sure I'd run back there although I generally do like O&B restaurants. It's just there are others of theirs that I prefer far more than this one. Close to all the transit steps away from King subway station.

I'm starting off my fall cuisine with a squash risotto! Very rich and filling and the shavings of parm are always a nice touch. Really enjoyed this dish. Lunch is a bit pricey (Will set you back around $30) hence the 4 stars but portions are reasonable.

The ambiance was lovely. Dimmed lights and candles, it was relaxing. I had the bacon burger with a gluten-free bun. The server asked me about my allergies and he suggested the bun. So kind. The fries were double fried. They were so crispy! Love this place. The food was great too.

Came to try out their Pietober deal. Surprisingly there is a bit of stairs upwards to get into the hole. Inside there are british pub vibes with some wacky but cool wallpaper. The restaurant felt understaffed as it felt like our waitress was serving the side room (full) and more... hence service was a bit slow. Roasted beetroot salad - A delicious blend of textures. Candied walnuts for the crunch, some tenderness from the beetroot, soft chews from the ancient grains. The vinaigrette and goat cheese comes together nicely for the flavour. Scallop and bacon pie - The pie was beautiful. The topping of the pie was a mash potato piped beautifully. Loads of scallop in the pie, but didnt get the seafood nor did I get the bacon flavour. Wouldn't recommend. Fries - More like wedges with some light batter. Unfortunately it was not crispy on the outside. Lots of ketchup made the fries a bit more tolerable. Sticky toffee pudding - Definitely a must try! Moist cake with a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream. Topped with granola to give a nice crunch. Didn't try their cocktails or beers. Unlikely to come back, but if I do I'll need to try their beverages.

We stopped by the Rabbit Hole for drinks and dessert after a full dinner. I love the ambience of the space, full of warm chestnut woods and candle lit atmosphere. The space is vaguely Alice in Wonderland themed, with clocks on the walls and teacups scattered around. The service is energetic and friendly, constantly checking in and helpful with suggestions. I had the Golden Ticket while my partner got the Malverick. Very different cocktails as the Golden Ticket was tart, lime forward and bright. The Maverick was dark, sweet and smooth. Both very well balanced and great drinks. We ended the night with the Baked Alaska. Unexpected flavors of coconut icecream and sweet pineapple, all encapsulated in a cloud of sweet marshmallow and torched. The pour over of rum (lit on fire of course) added some additional flare.

We finally went to this place after planning to go since ages! We tried their pork tenderloin and steak and chips for main course and both the items were good. The service was excellent and I think the highlight of our visit was their drinks! They have a large variety of cocktails to choose from including the basic regular ones like my all time favourite Gin & Tonic.

    Fish and chips

The BEST fish and chips I've ever had and I have been to the UK before. The fish was so tender. The batter was so crispy and everything was well seasoned. The brussels sprouts were also well seasoning, super big and fresh and crunchy.

Well, the staff were absolutely fantastic! The wines were decent, and the food was good to ok. The food unfortunately, was underwhelming. However, I'm giving them 4 stars because the two women who I dealt with were amazing, and tbh I'm not really expecting good food at a corporate run pub in the very dead financial district, lol. The scotch eggs were okay, maybe a bit dry. The pie was also ok and maybe a bit dry, but unfortunately their thin gravy tasted like burnt flour.

Firstly, the service was good. Very friendly, helpful. The bar has a nice vibe, comfortable, fancy enough to feel you're having a nice night out, without feeling pretentious. The food....meh. the haggis balls were very bland, except for the barbecue sauce they were drowned in. Would have preferred a more flavourful ball, with a drizzle of sauce. Same for the Welsh rarebit. Cheesy toast. Underwhelming. The sauce on the cod was quite tasty, but the cod itself was a little dry and overcooked. It came with mussels...well, mussel meat, three small pieces. The steak pie had a nice crust, and the gravy was nice, but mostly ground meat, with just two pieces of steak. The presentation was fun. Though we enjoyed ourselves, the meal fell short of expectations, not value for money. Not bad though...

Recently visited a few days ago for a work lunch. Cute old school decor with wooden panelling and a bit of Alice and Wonderland theme. Tried a few things: 1) Scotch Egg - First time I've tried this. Hen's egg, sage & nutmeg sausage, piccalilli. The piccalilli (relish) paired nicely with the egg. 2) Ale-battered Halibut & Chips - if you are hungry, get this! Halibut, tartar sauce, mushy peas, and charred lemon. Light batter, fish cooked well and a favourite of the table. Everyone at the table basically ordered this. Recommend this place for work lunches and dinners. Maybe not dates or casual dining.

Beautiful ambiance and great drinks for the value during their happy hour (past 8:30 Wed-Sat). One of the best spots downtown. Highly recommend!

This place and it's decor inside is cute but we choose the patio since it's nice weather. We took the summerlicious menu. Food is good, staff are very friendly. There is construction on the street so its good take the subway, exit on Queen or King station and walk for less than 5 mins. How nice for the chef to give us (I called it pancake, I forgot it's name) while waiting for the main menu.

The hotel lobby was nicely decorated for the holiday season, with a Christmas tree, large "Happy Holidays" sign, and other festive decorations. The ambiance inside the restaurant, just like the rest of the hotel, was classy. Service was good. There was an option to do coat check at the front. Reservation is highly recommended, especially on weekends, as they tend to get very busy. Underground parking is available at the RBC building next door, or at the hotel. Food was really good, and in decent portion sizes. The sides were bigger than we thought, so we took away some leftovers. 1) PEI Mussels Pot (mussels with bell pepper & red onion vinaigrette), served with grilled sourdough bread - The bell pepper and red onion vinaigrette was delicious and on point. I liked that the pot had enough but not too much broth - enough to dip the bread in, but didn't fully cover all the mussels (making the mussels retain some of their original flavour). 2) Miso Black Cod (black cod with sake, miso, crispy lotus roots, sesame seeds, pea shoots) - One of my favourite dishes of the night. The cod was delicate and seasoned perfectly with the sake and miso. The crispy lotus roots added a nice crunch. 3) Mushrooms Bowl (jasmine rice, miso mixed mushrooms, roasted squash, crispy Brussels sprouts, cherry tomatoes, chilli threads, garlic crisps, basil) - Great vegetarian dish. There was a LOT of rice in the bowl, and the rice was flavourful with the miso sauce. The mixed mushrooms were 10/10. I also liked the balance of cooked and raw vegetables in this bowl, giving a touch of freshness. For each main, we got to choose 1 side. We opted to add extra veggie sides. Brussels Sprouts were also available as appetizer, which came in a large bowl (bigger portion size compared to the side). We were able to get it without the bacon, and the vinaigrette sauce on the side. The Brussels sprouts were perfectly crispy and flavourful, even without the vinaigrette add-on. The Grilled Vegetables side consisted of broccolini, zucchini, red and yellow peppers. Roasted Squash was lightly topped with a bit of chopped parsley. All of the sides that we got were excellent. After dinner, we headed out to the patio / terrace for the Christmas holiday market. There was a separate holiday market-special menu, with some light bites and drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic). It was a small market, but decorated very nicely with all the lights, fire pits, and the iconic Ritz-Carlton vintage green car. It had 100% cozy Christmas holiday vibes, with great photo ops. Even though it was technically outside, the fire pits made the market area feel quite warm.

Came here on my birthday to enjoy some tea with a friend as it has become our tradition. She had written TWICE that it was my birthday, but there was nothing for us. They don't do it? No, they do... as we were about to leave after paying and enjoying our tea, there was another couple that had gotten some ice cream with a candle and were told happy birthday. Like if you had even said it and stuck a candle in an existing dessert, I would have been fine with that. But got no effort at all. Tea was ok, kind of weak in my opinion.. not enough leaves were used for the pot. All the food items were great but we wish my vegan friend didn't get two of the same sandwiches.. at least make an effort to make a different one. The valet parking was super confusing.. the front desk was telling us to pay outside and outside was telling us to pay at front desk... we had to walk back and forth four times before we ended up paying at front desk... super annoying to do in heels. Never coming back here for anything.
