Racers has a welcoming outdoor patio with shade fans and smoking areas on the side. The mugs are frosty cold with freshly tapped beer perfect for this summer heat! The bartenders are nothing but fun and make sure everyone is taking care of. Highly recommend this place!!! read more

Although there are some delicious restaurants within close proximity (Rohey's and Los Cabo's Tacos are my fav). Racers is located on a strip mall right off the 91 fwy and Pierce St. There is a smoke shop located immediately next door. Very convenient for smokers. The Bartender outfits are always very interesting (keeps the male patrons coming back). The service here is pretty consistent, although I have been here a few times and received a, "What would you like?", immediately upon arrival at the bar. I feel bartenders and professionals working in the service industry should ALWAYS greet EVERY customer with a "Hello, how are you" or "Thank you for being here" along with a smile. Girls are scantly dressed attracting the male gender but I don't let that intimidate me. Men are Men... Great beer on tap. Sports on t.v. up the whoo hoooo. Love this place! Everybody else pretty well nailed the amenities, so I won't repeat any of that--it's all good. Class E: One review, no friends, no lists? What happened, did you get fired from there, or is that where your husband met his girlfriend? LOL! It's a dive--everybody knows that. It's where working-class folks go to unwind. It is noisy, but it's not dirty. Of course some people leave drunk--it's a bar, duh. The bartenders are friendly, but they're not hookers. Chatting up the customers is part of hospitality. Like the above said they have a nice selection of beer. Thing is if the keg runs out sometime later in the night there isn't someone to replace it. I've had to drink something other then Sam Adams on 2 occasions. Don't think they have food but they have an almost never ending supply of pretzels. The Bartenders are BUSTY to say the least. I hear that Friday afternoons gets pretty crazy. I'm sure it can with the Stripper pole that have. The biggest selling point here would be the bartenders, the video games and the music. The internet Juke box is great. You can find just about anything you want to listen to. They have that popular golf game and a bowling game along with a bean bag toss video game and a pinball machine. I have no idea what this bean bag tossing game is about. I tend to stay away from tossing any sort of bag. With two pool tables this bar has a good amount of entertainment. They also have live bands. If I recall I have seen them on Wednesday nights. If you like beer and are in the area, this is the place to be. Hot bartenders for the male heterosexuals, not-so-hot clients for the homosexuals (there are, of course, some exceptions). It's a "manly" place to be if you feel like your testosterone needs a boost, although women are present and welcome. PROS: you never know what to expect; sometimes its packed, sometimes there's a homeless man asking you to fill up his cup, customers and bartenders are friendly and it's good for sports fans.
