I am totally blown away with the service and quality of the bras at this store! After breastfeeding 2 babies, my breasts were definitely not the same shape or size as they were when I had purchased all of my pre-pregnancy bras, and yet I was still wearing them! I had resigned to the fact that bras were just not going to fit my breasts anymore, and that it was normal to have spill over, slipping straps and major uniboob. After following the Rack Shack on instagram at the suggestion of my bestie, I finally found time to visit the store and invest in some quality bras. The store owner took one look at my current bra and fit and picked out about 10 bras in a new size (2 whole cup sizes larger than what I had been wearing) and patiently adjusted each and every one while I tried them on. I took a day off of work today to visit The Rack Shack after having decided weeks prior that I was in DESPERATE need of bras before my vacation. Ones that fit, and made me not only look good in my clothing, but feel great at the same time. A usually daunting, and impossible endeavor for me due to my size. After searching on yelp for some time I sifted through some of the larger, and more "well known" bra boutiques, but upon reading quite a few comments that were less than favorable I stumbled upon The Rack Shack. It didn't have nearly as many reviews as the other shops, but quality will always count far more than quantity, and each review I read about this place was full of customers raving about their visits. Deeply hoping that I too would be able to find a bra that I loved I traveled almost two hours by train from the Bronx. In the pouring rain, and cold no less. Needless to say....my trip was beyond worth it! And I left incredibly happy for quite a few reasons. I not only found a bra that fit wonderfully, but left with two AND a gorgeous choker necklace, but more importantly than that my overall experience was phenomenal to say the least. Laura was warm, funny, sweet, and very knowledgeable. She made me feel exceedingly comfortable. Something that I honestly do not become easily, even more so when shopping for intimates. However, that was not the case here whatsoever. Laura was a total delight, and I was so appreciative of her help. My visit was over the span of no more than half an hour or so, and within that time I experienced the best service in a retail setting I've ever had up until now. As a testament to that the smile on my face as I walked back towards the train was completely unfazed by the freezing cold rain. I highly recommend this store for women of all sizes, and shapes. My bras and sports bras were feeling a bit uncomfortable and I attributed it my husband drying my bras since he does the laundry. After a few weeks, it was clear though that I needed to be resized from 30G. Erica at The Rack Shack helped me try at least a dozen bras of various brands, sizes, and styles. We thought I needed 30GG but settled on 30H and I left with two comfortable Ewa Michalak bras and a new Panache bra (I have a Panache sports bra in 30G). There was absolutely no pressure to buy. The USA size for 30H is 30K. I also tried on a couple of cute bralettes that I normally would not have even looked at on my own. I have a Boux Avenue order on the way that it's clear I will need to return since I ordered a few sale items in 30G and Boux Avenue does not carry sizes above G cup. Luckily returns are free. I highly recommend a visit to the Rack Shack. I did not make an appointment but do recommend it to ensure you get the full experience since I think there are only two fitting rooms (and we are still in the middle of a global pandemic). Masks are required which made me very comfortable given the proximity when trying on intimate apparel and getting assistance with fitting. I was there for about 45 minutes. read more

I was standing straighter and with more confidence, while looking slimmer and neater. Wonderful shop tucked away in Brooklyn!! The shop owner is lovely, super helpful and courteous. Helps you figure out your size, or nail it down in different bra styles and brands. I came in because I had read good things about her on "A Bra That Fits" on Reddit and I see here all of the other reviews are super positive as well. This is an inclusive shop and caters to everyone which is awesome. She has many brands available, I came specifically to try out some Polish bras because those are hard to find where I live and I was curious. I purchased a set by Ewa Michalak for just under $100, so not a bargain, but it is a set and the bra and underwear are beautifully made. If you only purchase a bra those will run around $60-70 from what I tried on. I think the price is justified by the personal attention you get and the ability to try them on in a safe and welcoming space. The owner is not pushy at all and I never felt like I had to buy anything I didn't like. She has two dressing rooms available. Highly recommend visiting the shop! read more

I've never had a bra fit so well! Laura stocks tons of sizes and styles, and I walked out feeling extremely sexy. She also taught me about how a bra fits- I had no idea, and I walked in wearing a bra that I thought was too tight, which is why I was there to be refitted. She loosened the straps and repositioned it on my back and it fits now! The price point is about the same as other boutique lingerie stores, but the service is out of the park. This is my first ever Yelp review and I am more than happy to give it to The Rack Shack. The owner of the cute little store was more than accommodating. She didn't measure me, but she let me try on different bras to see what my best fit will be. I like that approach much better, because measuring doesn't really reflect how my breast fill out the cup of the bra. Especially considering one of my boobs are bigger than the other. Once she determined my size (38HH) she literally let me try on her entire inventory in my size. I have never seen so many different styles that I like actually fit me. I have been buying the same bra, but in different colors from cacique for about 10 years (and they barely have my size sometimes. I am a 38 G in their store). I never thought I would try on so many different styles of bras. That were not only cute, but supportive as well. I even I brought my boyfriend along for the ride. TBH, it was his idea to go lingerie shopping. What I thought was going to be a disappointing experience turned out to be the highlight of my day. I felt so beautiful and sexy after I left the store. This is my favorite place in the world! I came here on a whim, after a friend of mine suggested we pop in. I was fully expecting not to be able to find anything because I am rather full chested, but I was SO pleasantly surprised to find that Laura caters to clients of all shapes and sizes, and has both everyday as well as special occasion pieces, all of fantastic quality. The shop itself is welcoming, bright, and airy, with just the right amount of pieces in stock (including local designers!) It is not overwhelming like department stores or chain lingerie retailers can often be. You instantly get the sense that the shop is an empowering, sophisticated, sex positive and feminist environment. You can tell the pieces are stocked to fit the needs of the customer, and not the other way around! Laura herself is SUCH a doll. She is incredibly knowledgeable and you can tell she loves what she does! I swear she has a superpower to judge exactly what styles will work on your frame (though she is never pushy!).
