    Pepperoni Pizza 14"

I knew from the minute we walked up that this was going to have some of the best pizza. We ended up with the pepperoni pizza which was delicious and cheesy. I have no idea why the photos don't look anything like how the pizza taste. The crust was a higher end dough that baked perfectly. This is a new favorite! You can eat on the covered patio or inside.

We ordered this through Grub Hub. We got Farro which was not delivered so no review but I don't know who to blame for it. Pepperoni pizza with onions - 8/10 good enough, but a little salty Cheese bread - 5/10 The bread was chewy and they put garlic powder on it the baked it, the powder burnt and made it taste burnt Terra Bella - 1/10 Awful, burnt to hell and dry as a desert. We hated this. My wife choked it down with lots of pizza sauce and ranch dressing.

Quiet and mixed precipitation kind os Saturday afternoon, decided to check this out. Parking well- we did go around the block a few times and finally found a spot. It's next store to the Congregation, a community spot. Pizza, Negronis, salads, and meatballs. We got the Bella Terra. No cheese and can add. Great combo of veg and it was delicious. We had Negronis also. Have to come back since the meatballs were not available for an app. Have a great patio- there are heaters for it.

The Rectory sits comfy right next to The Congregation Detroit. There is a takeout WINDOW in the front and the entrance to the small dining room inside is a door off of their back patio to the right of the building! Once you enter, it is absolutely darling on the interior. The service here was amazing, warm & cozy manor from everyone who waited on us! The food is incredible! One of the BEST Caesar salad s ive ever had is what we started with. Their cheese bread is delightful, baked perfectly with just the right amount of cheese. You cannot go wrong with any of their pizza specials but you can also build your own if you prefer. Thin pizza but with a fluffy crust and all of them are packed with flavor. Don't skip on their dessert either, they were featuring a pumpkin tiramisu when we visited and it was out of this world! This might be Detroits best hidden gem

The Rectory is a great edition to The Congregation family. It's the adjacent property which has been fully restored and reinvented to an intimate restaurant. Their pizza is real yummy. They've created a great vibe between their two establishments. You feel like a part of a community. It's not just a dining experience. Highly recommended.

Delicious pizza. I'm a big fan of congregation and while I was home in Michigan I had to try their new Venture. I'll be telling everyone to check it out. I love the outdoor seating.

Great outdoor patio to enjoy your meal!

The place is cute and a nice vibe but the pizza is not that good. It was dry and bland and very overpriced for something like that.

Felt homie which we loved. Small parking lot as well. We arrived about 20 mins after opening. This place can get busy /packed fast but is worth the wait! Food: we ordered the Packard pepperoni pizza- it was delicious, with a great balance between sweet (from the hot honey) to savory. The dough, sauce, and toppings were well balanced, fresh, portioned.

Parking is extremely limited they maybe have 5 spots available excluding pickup but there is parking of street parking around so don't worry. Seating is also extremely limited, we ended up sitting outside on one of their outside benches but the weather wasn't too bad. They also serve you plates and water if you sit outside. It took about 20-30min wait for our pizza. We got the packard pepperoni to share. It sure does pack a punch of heat/spice with the chilies. The honey balance it out well though so don't be too scared. The bread/dough was very fluffy and the cheese crust was crunchy and delicious! Definitely very bread heavy in general but I think this place does it well. Overall decent pizza but I think I prefer a thin slice over Detroit style.

And the food...OMG, the food. The smoked duck breast was spectacular. Truly amazing. The mushroom pizza was delicious, and I honestly couldn't stop eating it. We also had the ricotta, egg, truffle, and kombucha pasta. It was good, just not quite as incredible as everything else. The egg inside was cooked solid, and I think if the yolk had been just a little runny, it would have taken the dish completely over the top. Such a great dinner. Can't wait to come back!

The bacon scone was absolutely outstanding, however you have to ask for butter for this, which is a must, but that was the only thing for a $325 brunch bill for 4 people. The entrees were cold when we received them, and one took so long to get that it was actually comped by the restaurant. The steak and egg benny was okay. The egg was overcooked and only jammy and not runny, and the croissant which had the steak on it was super oily and gross. There is a reason why a biscuit or english muffin is used in this dish, so whoever decided a croissant was a good idea is not smart, or eating the current weekend chef's food. The potato frites super greasy and oily as well as cold. Draining them on a paper towel would have been clutch. We had other entrees that no one finished because of the quality and taste of the food. It would have been helpful if the kitchen staff put the food under a salamander or heat light. If they have one of these, it certainly wasn't working that day in proper order. This is not a place I would ever go to brunch again. Maybe I would try dinner have one of their cheaper dinners as the $34 benny was overpriced and underperforming. I am giving this place three stars rather than one because the service was great unlike the food.

The brewery splits their offerings between Jolly Pumpkin sours and North Peak Brewing Company's variety of styles. My husband ordered a Jolly Pumpkin pint right away. I wanted to try a flight but needed time to choose. Our bartender Lenice gave me all the time I needed. When a couple of my picks weren't available, she brought me samples of other beers to try. I liked one of the samples. Jason, the manager, helped me make my final selection. I don't typically drink sours, but these weren't the kind that make you pucker. They were subtle. Definitely my kind of sours. Jason shared stories about the brewery's history and owner. His knowledge and enthusiasm for the place really came through. Lenice stopped by a few times to check if we needed anything. Both Lenice and Jason made this visit memorable. Lenice kept the energy light and friendly. Jason's passion for his work and the brewery added depth to the experience. If you're in the area and want good beer with even better service, stop by Jolly Pumpkin Brewery.

I wouldn't sit here for hours on end because the seats aren't particuly cozy, but the vibe is totally welcoming and the people that work there have always been very friendly and nice.
