We ordered this through Grub Hub. We got Farro which was not delivered so no review but I don't know who to blame for it. Pepperoni pizza with onions - 8/10 good enough, but a little salty Cheese bread - 5/10 The bread was chewy and they put garlic powder on it the baked it, the powder burnt and made it taste burnt Terra Bella - 1/10 Awful, burnt to hell and dry as a desert. We hated this. My wife choked it down with lots of pizza sauce and ranch dressing.

Quiet and mixed precipitation kind os Saturday afternoon, decided to check this out. Parking well- we did go around the block a few times and finally found a spot. It's next store to the Congregation, a community spot. Pizza, Negronis, salads, and meatballs. We got the Bella Terra. No cheese and can add. Great combo of veg and it was delicious. We had Negronis also. Have to come back since the meatballs were not available for an app. Have a great patio- there are heaters for it.

The Rectory sits comfy right next to The Congregation Detroit. There is a takeout WINDOW in the front and the entrance to the small dining room inside is a door off of their back patio to the right of the building! Once you enter, it is absolutely darling on the interior. The service here was amazing, warm & cozy manor from everyone who waited on us! The food is incredible! One of the BEST Caesar salad s ive ever had is what we started with. Their cheese bread is delightful, baked perfectly with just the right amount of cheese. You cannot go wrong with any of their pizza specials but you can also build your own if you prefer. Thin pizza but with a fluffy crust and all of them are packed with flavor. Don't skip on their dessert either, they were featuring a pumpkin tiramisu when we visited and it was out of this world! This might be Detroits best hidden gem

The Rectory is a great edition to The Congregation family. It's the adjacent property which has been fully restored and reinvented to an intimate restaurant. Their pizza is real yummy. They've created a great vibe between their two establishments. You feel like a part of a community. It's not just a dining experience. Highly recommended.

Delicious pizza. I'm a big fan of congregation and while I was home in Michigan I had to try their new Venture. I'll be telling everyone to check it out. I love the outdoor seating.

Great outdoor patio to enjoy your meal!

Great pizza. So good. The place is small inside but there is an amazing outdoor space.

The place is cute and a nice vibe but the pizza is not that good. It was dry and bland and very overpriced for something like that.

It's always a challenge getting a few people to agree on what to do for lunch so when my neighbor…read morein the cube farm suggested getting a salad today, the "lunch bunch" walked to 7 Greens today. We arrived smack in the middle of the lunch rush with a queue out to the door but it did move quickly. The menu board has some suggestions for their pre-designed salads, bowls, burritos and smoothies. Or you can "build your own" on the fly and like Subway and Chipotle (but way better!), they add the ingredients as it goes down the line. I decided to stick with the "Kare Bear" - Romaine base with BBQ chicken, hard-boiled egg, bacon, avocado, cheddar cheese, tomatoes and red onion with their ranch sauce. It sounds like a Cobb Salad to me. I watched the young lady assemble the ingredients and toss it together then pour it into a cardboard bowl. $15.25 plus tax. Remember to grab a fork if you don't already have one at your desk. It was a bit too busy to eat in today and it was a bit too warm to sit outside. So we brought it back to the office where I demolished this huge and delicious salad. It's not cheap but it is fresh and it feels healthy. I would absolutely choose 7 Greens again for lunch. We sat at one where another group was sitting at the other end. The service was great and they constantly came outside to check on us and refill our waters and take our old plates away. We ordered charred broccoli (forgot to get a photo, but it was good), and the packard pepperoni pizza, which had pepperoni, jalepenos, and house-made hot honey. It was so delicious! I love that the center dough was a little bit soft and the edges were perfectly caramelized.

Wait times were up to 35 min., but the non-alcohol bar wait was only ten. We chose the latter, gave our mobile number, and were ushered out of the entrance way and into another quieter, cooler, unpopulated hallway in the building to await an all clear, come on in text. That was nice. At the bar, and our server carefully explained the pizza process (~ 25-30 min. wait) and vegetable dishes (10 min wait). We ordered our meal cho, and then a couple N.A. beverages. Beverages seem to all come in bottles and cans. Of the three I tried with my companion, none were standouts in goodness. Water was served in a carafe along with a glass for each of us though. As folks got seated at the bar there was a buzz of excitement about the newness of the place, the menu and the process. After waiting and waiting, while watching one pizza after another go out, one by the each, to others, the excitement died and folks quieted, and just waited and waited for their food. I ordered Charred Briccoli, and honestly, it was the BEST EVER. I shared it with my companion, but by the time it arrived, I was hungry enough to devour it all by myself. We shared the Cowabunga Supreme Pizza (with Fennel Italian sausage, pepperoni, olives and mushroom with spicy red sauce). The corner pieces were crusty delicious, but the inner piece dough I tried was undercooked. Not great. All in all, I applaud the new effort. The people we spoke to who served and ran around were positive and really industrious. Hope management will obtain a beer / wine license one day to make the bar wait a little easier for patrons sitting there. And, an extra pizza oven (or two) might help with patron meal timing eventually.
