Had a really fun visit! We got lucky and were able to walk in around 7:30p on a Saturday. It was a really memorable experience with the drinks that we got - see photos! The service was friendly, passionate and attentive. The space was small and cozy and comfortable- we loved it! Definitely a fun gem in downtown Paso!

This speakeasy may be small, but that's exactly what makes the experience unforgettable. The intimate space instantly sets the mood, and once you're inside, it feels like you've stepped into a hidden world. The cocktails are anything but ordinary--creative, delicious, and crafted with real intention. Every drink felt like its own little performance. Our waiter was basically our personal bartender and showman, guiding us through the menu, customizing drinks on the spot, and keeping the vibe fun the whole night. Thank you for the amazing experience on my birthday.

We got lucky and made a day-of reservation, perfectly timed after our meal at Alchemist Garden. The Remedy is located right behind the restaurant. This place is tiny, but decorated with well worn couches and leather chairs. The floor is accented with overlapping rugs and along the back wall is a swanky liquor cabinet. Leann helped us navigate the menu, explaining flavors and crafting the perfect cocktails for us. The cocktail cart is mobile, so the mixologist rolls the cart right up to you. One thing to note is some of the drinks are pre-mixed for flavor influence and convenience, but they still served with upmost care. The Remedy is unique cocktail experience with intriguing drinks and an intimate atmosphere.

Perfect little spot Popped in for a nightcap on a Saturday and was not disappointed. I got lucky because they're usually booked out! LeeAnn, the bartender, made the perfect cocktail. Very cozy, and the cocktail selection is phenomenal. The bar cart comes to you, so every drink is made right in front of you. I highly recommend stopping in.

This speakeasy is tucked away in the back of The Alchemists' Garden with a separate entrance on 12th St. You need to secure a reservation if you want to visit this speakeasy. The cocktails are pretty expensive here (~$30+) but they start you with an aperitif and finished with a coffee liqueur. There are also olives and candied nuts/seeds included too. The show and love that's put into their cocktails are well worth the prices. Compared to the other speakeasy a few doors down, I like the vibe of this one more. It didn't feel as cramped and it came with a roaming bar! Is that what it's called? The bar comes to you! The bar seems to be gin forward. I had a gin that was infused and aged in such a way that when served, it tasted like an old fashioned. It was my 2nd favorite cocktail of the night, and off menu so I'm not sure what it was called. -Casa de Seven: My absolute favorite is on their regular menu and has the coconut ice cube and matcha. -Soil and Snow Martini: The additions were fun but tasted like a regular martini at the end of the day. -Remedy G&T: Probably the prettiest show and comes in a fun glass bowl on a swing like contraption but the most boring in taste.

Wow, just wow. This place is quite possibly the coolest speakeasy ever! My friends and I accidentally booked reservations online for The Remedy instead of for The Alchemist. This mistake was the highlight of our trip! First, the ambiance was amazing! We were walked to an unmarked door where we were let in and greeted by our amazing bartender. The location was small, but not crowded with 10 or so comfortable chairs to relax in. We were immediately given a pre-drink which was the most delicious thing ever, as well as some in house seasoned nuts and olives. It is clear this place cares about the entire experience. From there we chose drinks, two of my friends knew what they wanted, but I was overwhelmed with the amazing choices and requested that the bartender (owner?) was amazing asking me questions about my pallet and what I liked in a drink. From there it was time to make the drinks, I loved watching all the artistry and learning about how many drinks are made and only eight or so are chosen to be on this menu. Lastly, let's talk about the drinks. We tried three amazing drinks, of which the banana coconut margarita was the best. The flavors were so unique and as the coconut water ice cube melted we were surprised to find chunks of coconut! This drink was a three in one flavor surprise and it was amazing. I cannot wait to go back to Paso Robles and have another drink at the Remedy!

Great drinks! Fun and relaxing atmosphere. The bartenders were welcoming and knowledgable. We will be back.

A vibe is The Remedy in Paso. A unique intimate experience in a room that holds no more than 12 guest at a time. Reservation is highly recommended as well. Each drink with its unique twist and flavors. The complimentary snack as you enjoy your cocktail is a plus. With Tony as your bartender, you not only get a well served drink, but you also get the insight of how long it took their team to come up with such a masterpiece. When in Paso stop by The Remedy highly recommended.

Tucked away on a back street in Paso lies this interesting and very amazing venue. I would have never imagined in my wildest dreams going to a place like this, let alone what was inside. To be honest, I at first felt like I was entering the twilight zone, the first time I came here. In the back of my mind, I was thinking, " Is this what it felt like going to something like this during prohibition times? Now, in this post, I will not share all about your entrance, etc., into this place, as that takes the fun out of it, but I must add that if you are in the Paso area, this is a must on your list. Let's go back and recreate yesteryear, a very intimate and very exclusive, club-like atmosphere. You never know who is watching you; it's all that mystery. Does it feel a bit like the game CLUE"? You tell me. :-) Just remember this: speak easy, abide by their rules, speak quietly, and have fun!

At first, my wife and her friend were a bit unsure as they reviewed the menu, as they didn't immediately see options that appealed to them. However, that quickly changed. Our friend ordered the asparagus salad and croquettes, while my wife chose the rosemary garlic grilled prawns and roasted heirloom carrots. Both dishes completely exceeded expectations--they were blown away by how flavorful and well-prepared everything was. Over the course of our trip, we visited many wineries and enjoyed several excellent meals throughout the Central Coast. Yet by the end of it, both my wife and her friend agreed that this dinner stood out as the most memorable--truly the highlight among many great experiences. Thank you for starting our trip on such a high note.

On my first visit (evening), we walked in without a reservation and were quickly seated at the last available table. The place had a lively atmosphere, and it looked like part of the space turns into more of a dance floor later in the night. I had the French onion soup, raw oysters, and the pot pie, all of which were good. The pot pie in particular is something I would recommend. This most recent visit was for lunch on a weekday. There were plenty of open tables, and we were seated right away. Parking was easy, which is typical outside of busy weekends. The experience this time around was more mixed. We wanted to order oysters Rockefeller, but they were completely out of oysters, which was disappointing. I ordered a black and tan, which tasted fine, but it came with a design on top that I wasn't expecting. Not a big deal, just different from what I had in mind. For food, my girlfriend ordered the blackened salmon and said it was good. I went with the corned beef and cabbage. The corned beef itself was flavorful and served over mashed potatoes, which were well done. The cabbage, though, wasn't what I expected. Instead of a more traditional preparation, it was grilled with char marks and topped with au jus. The texture came out a bit rubbery and didn't really absorb the flavor well, which made that part of the dish underwhelming. Service was okay but not great. My water ran empty at one point, and I had to ask for a refill. We also ordered boneless wings as an appetizer and asked for extra ranch, which didn't come out until we reminded the server. The biggest issue, though, was something I noticed from our table with a partial view into the kitchen. An employee had their shoe up on a shelf that appeared to be holding clean dishes, which didn't come across as sanitary. I also saw food being adjusted on a plate by someone who didn't appear to be the cook. I can't speak to what's happening behind the scenes in terms of handwashing or procedures, but visually, it raised concerns. That part of the experience honestly left a bad impression. Between that, the missed items, and some inconsistencies with the food, it changed how I feel about coming back. My first visit had me excited to return, but after this one, I'm not sure I would.

She never stopped hustling and kept everything moving with a great attitude. Honestly, the fact that one person was left to run the entire cafe by herself feels like a management staffing issue, not an employee issue. Management should make sure the cafe is properly staffed, and if someone calls in sick or doesn't show up, leadership should step in to help rather than leaving one employee to carry the entire workload alone. That said, our cafe experience remained positive largely because of her work ethic and professionalism.
