Previous review April 2, 2019: I have been through quite a few hair stylists in the bay area but when I met Courtney a few years ago, I knew my search was over. She gives me the best sun-kissed blonde ombre, root shadowing color ever. More recently, I was lucky enough to have her give me extensions for my wedding day. The amount of compliments I got from my hair color and the extensions were limitless. My hair was so perfect for my wedding day. She is super sweet, very relatable, and great conversationalist. This means a lot when you're in the chair for a few hours getting glammed up. The studio is super clean and styled very chic. They also sell Unite products which I love the 7 seconds and U oil (must haves). She also has the Sheila Stott brushes for sale and it may be one of my most favorite purchases this year. There isn't a hair-related service she can't provide and provide excellently, at that. I've gotten cuts, color, highlights, keratin treatments, and extensions (both hand-tied and tapes) from Analise and am satisfied every time. She's successfully taken me blonde, red, and back to dark brunette (my natural color) And listen: I don't have naturally great hair. My hair is fine and even thinning in some areas but Analise has gotten it to a place where I have the ILLUSION of great hair (see review photos). Her "lived-in color" approach also means I can go a looooong time between sessions without it looking weird and grown out. It just looks totally natural. I've probably spent about 100 hours in Analise's chair. When I was looking for a new stylist, it was very important to me that I connected well with whomever was going to do my hair because when you do keratin and extensions semi-regularly, you know those are going to be flipping long sessions. And I definitely found that connection with Analise. She has become a friend and we always have great conversation during our appointments. Another thing about Analise is that she is constantly educating herself with classes and new techniques, which has allowed her natural talent to grow. It was their first haircut and I could not have asked for a better experience! My girls were nervous at first but Loretta made them feel comfortable and they had extra pep in their step when they saw the finished look. And the owner is seriously so amazing she went above and beyond and printed my girls a first hair cut certificate and also I forgot to ask to tie my first daughters hair in a hair tie to keep it. But the owner helped gather enough together to tie it afterwords. I absolutely love Rage salon and will recommend everyone to go here!
