If I could give zero stars, I in fact would. Very rude and unprofessional. I will NEVER come here again. I called and spoke to Hanah to make an appointment for me and my husband. I specifically asked for a spa manicure and a spa mani/ pedi. She said great, I'll get it ready. When we arrived early for our appointment, she made it very uncomfortable. She wanted to make my husband not receive a spa manicure and I wanted him to receive one. She finally reluctantly agreed. She then started speaking Vietnamese to her employees and you could tell they were uncomfortable with their facial expressions. After my husbands manicure was completed, he was told to get out of the massage chair and wait for me in the waiting area. I could understand if they were busy, but that they were not. I'm updating my review after coming here for nearly 5yrs. So sad that they don't care about customer service, especially for customers who come in every 2-3 weeks for the past 5yrs. It's progressively gotten worse little by little. It's not a relaxing environment and always hot in the summer. Expect to sweat because there's no AC. If you don't mind every other finger being cut, then this is the place. Not only would Hanna cut me, but they would be deep cuts and wouldn't apologize. When you say "ouch," she seems to get mad at you and becomes more aggressive with you. It's sad that they lost a customer after 5yrs. Do yourself a favor and please AVOID this place. read more

I got a full set from Linda on 07/10, one of my acrylics was barely hanging on by the tip by 07/20. I went back in to get the one nail fixed and they suggested a fill only 10 days later, so I decided to get them filled and Hannah was so nice and chatty that day suggesting designs for my nails. On 07/27 a couple tips completely broke off while in a pool so I went back in on 07/28 and Hannah was there so I told her they broke off and she seemed pretty irritated with having to fix 2 nails I only got a week earlier. Once she was done she charges me $5 for the fix and when I looked at them after her rushed job, my glitter ombre was a huge clump of glitter on one of the nails and somewhat clumpy on another. There was tons of excess powder under my nails I had to pick off and one of the nails is basically transparent even though it's black gel. And today 2 days later another nail is barely hanging on by a tip. I'd rather drive to Yorba Linda to another nail salon that charges more and has better customer service than wasting my money on nails that only last a week. read more

I've been coming here for almost a year. They do an ok job I just come here cause it's close to my house. I always get the basket of colors that come in gel and regular colors sometimes I get my mani too but not always today I asked for the basket and a girl said we don't have for pedicure. I said I come here always and I get a basket she said ok I get u one she did bring one but it was the ugly old colors. I asked for the other basket and she said no that's only for when u get both mani and pedi. I said that's funny I normally get the other basket she's said no. I was desperate to get my nails done for a company party I had this past weekend and have had the worst time finding a good nail salon when I decided to try this location one morning. I wanted a mani/pedi and when I walked in, I was helped right away. Linda and another woman (Cathy I believe?) started right away and Linda convinced me to get a gel manicure. They talked to me almost the whole time and were so gentle and attentive and had the best teamwork. I was out within the hour with killer nails that have been upstanding through work and housework. Not a single chip! Definitely will be coming back in the future. The total cost of this visit came out to $34. The impression they left, priceless. read more

This has been my go to place for my nails but my last experience was absolutely terrible. I came in asking for a gel manicure and pedicure. My pedicure came out great, but Kelly was doing my gel manicure. I asked for black with white marble as I wanted them to look nice for a wedding I was going to be in the next day. My hands were never put in warm water and cuticle softener was not used. Instead she used the tool to yank off my cuticles which resulted in my finger bleeding for 40 minutes and I now have an infection on my finger. After that, Kelly painted my nails only black. I asked why there was no white marble like I had asked for and she told me the designer wasn't in and that I would need to come back another day. That would've been good to disclose before my fingers were painted black or else I would've just picked another color. She tried to paint the marble effect but it was so thick and just in an X. It looked like a 2 year old got a hold of a white out pen and spilled it on my hand. My ring fingers now have 7 layers of gel and look so thick because instead of just cleaning off the design she kept adding more layers of gel. After this whole mishap she still decides to charge me full price even though I did not get what I asked for and was not happy. Hannah then attempted the marble design and it looked better, but she then tried to justify the terrible marble design by Kelly that I need to understand nothing will look like the picture and I should've just accepted she tried. No thanks, it was terrible, even Kelly was laughing at how bad she did my hand. At the end, all the workers decided to gather around me and tell me how beautiful my hands and nails were and that my hair was very nice. That's not a way to make your customers feel better, it was definitely fake so I would somehow want to come back. read more

My second time going to this place. Their prices are pretty cheap but they will always ask you for additional fees for other services. Like massages, etc. I paid $13 plus tip for a pedicure. Very disappointed with this nail shop!!! I have been here several times and this was by far the worst. Let me start with a first impression as a consumer. I walk in and ask for a pedicure. They tell me to pick a color and start up one of the spa chairs, which by the way is budded up against another chair. I am SO close to the girl sitting in the other chair I will be practically sitting on her lap!FIRST STRIKE! I wanna relax and be on my phone. I don't want to feel the girl next to me breathing...sheesh! Nothing against her I am sure she is lovely. LOL! Anyway, I tell them I'm going to want a gel pedicure but I would like to use the restroom first. When I come out of the restroom, as often women do, I have changed my mind and now I just want regular polish. I tell them this and they seem "bothered" I reach behind one of the nail tables at the wall of polishes and pick a pretty OPI pink that catches my eye. I tell them I will choose this color. Again, they seem bothered and start to talk in their language to each other. Whatever, I go sit, grab my headphones and start my massage chair. The massage chair sucks! I can barely feel the massage. STRIKE TWO! So the gal sits down and pulls one of my feet out of the water and then hands me a brochure to choose the type of pedicure I want. Obviously this is their attempt to suggest a higher sale. Which is fine...I'm not bothered by this. It's their job. So I politely say "Just a regular pedicure is fine". Again she's bothered. And now she turns to another girl and says something in her language. The second girl comes to me and tells me their is a fee to remove the gel polish that is on my toes. $3. I have had pedicures here before and there wasn't a charge. So I question it. She explains that if I wanted the gel pedicure, which is $25, they will include the removal for free otherwise it's extra and the regular pedicure is $15. Ugh...whatever I say ok that's fine. So the gal starts the removal. Which she FILED off with the electric drill thingy! In the past they have soaked with cotton balls and then scraped and lightly filed off. This seemed very harsh. When it was time for the polish...she tells me it will be another $3. Ok, now what? I ask why and she tell me the polish I chose is a better polish that lasts longer so their is a fee. Are you kidding me? So my $15 pedicure will now be $21. I should have just gotten the gel... At this point I am upset. So I tell the girl just go grab a pink that's similar. Any pink that's INCLUDED will work..I don't really care. STRIKE THREE!!!!! This shop will NICKLE AND DIME you for EVERYTHING!!!! They have an ATM machine which of course is $1 to use or if you pay with your card it will also be $1. When my pedicure was over she scooted me off the chair so fast I messed up one of my toes putting on my sandals. They have no drying station and yet they want you to get off the chair so fast. I usually go here for a quick pedicure. Good price, good service. Unfortunately I won't be going again after the GOD AWFUL job they did on my daughter's acrylic fills. White so thick it looked like a 5 year old slapped some paste on her nails. White half way down the nail bed made my daughter's fingers look like sausages. What I don't understand is how any tech could think that the nails looked good? My daughter had to go to another salon to have the nails fixed because they were that bad. read more

I walked in after work today to get a full set. I specifically said I want very short, natural looking nails. Thats not what Helen gave me. She would not make them as short as I wanted. They were not even in length. They were bumpy and so thick. I now have a white line in 3 of my nails that looks like they need to grow out to get rid of the line. Those 3 fingers also still hurt. When she was filing my nails with the square nail file. She cut me. She didnt even look concerned! Then she said it was my fault I got cut because I have "small" nails. You would think that with my blood on the nail file she would throw it away right? No, she put it back with her other nail sipplies. Very thorough, nice woman who did my toes. You're not paying a ton so it's not too bad that it's not the cleanest or classiest place. If you just want to get your nails done and not looking for an "experience" this is a fine place to go. I followed the advice of other reviewers and brought my own Essie color...the selection is not great and they don't really have Essie or OPI. But like I said, $13 for a good pedicure? This place sucks. My pregnant friend and I went to this place to have a relaxing day. My friend wanted a mani and pedi I only got a mani. Apparently they didn't have hot water that day so my friend had her feet in cold water the whole time they were doing her pedi. It wouldve been nice if they wouldve mentioned that before we sat down. How is someone supposed to have a relaxing pedicure when your feet are in freezing cold water?? Oh and they also don't do any kind of cute designs for you which is totally lame. I'm so glad I decided to check this place out after reading reviews on Yelp. I first went about 1 1/2 mo ago, and just went back this week. It's only $13 for the sugar salt/hot lotion pedicure! both times I was on a time crunch so only did the pedi. They don't pressure you to get designs, get a mani, etc. YAY. Please just respect what we come in for and ask for! :P I think I had the same lady both times, and she works diligently for a good 30-40 minutes. I love that they don't rush you and offer you pretty current mags to read. There are a handful of other customers there, but I've never had to wait. It'd be a bit better if they had a bigger selection of nail polish and brands (eg, Opi), but my last pedi lasted over a month, so no complaints. I'm definitely returning! :) read more

This was my first time coming to Ritz salon and I loved it. I initially came in because I was on a budget and they quoted me the lowest price for acrylic nails with gel polish. They have a lot of gel colors to chose from and my final price was $30, the only down side is they are really small so if you come in at the wrong time you might be waiting for a while to be seated. read more
