Don't let the strip mall location fool you, or the dark interior. It has the best blackened chicken sandwich! Nicely seasoned and juicy. My husband had the Gnoman sandwich and it is huge, definitely for a hearty appetite. Service was great too.

Great food & atmosphere! The Reuben Rolls are DELICIOUS! The parmesan cheese on top is a little weird and unnecessary, but it is easily wiped off. Hubby ended up getting the sampler as his meal just so he could have more and try more things. The fried pickles are great. The beer cheese is top notch. The wings...were okay. They were very soft. I like my wings crisp. If I were to get more, I'd ask for them well done. I got the fish & chips. I think serving it on brown paper that can absorb grease so the fries aren't sitting in grease would elevate the order, but both them and the fish were VERY GOOD. Plenty of parking and clean bathrooms. We'll be back!

What a little gem! Great local pub! Wonderful food had Philly steak with sweet potatoes hubby had the Ruben with fresh cut fries. Great selection of beer on tap with full bar!

Depending on what you're looking for this place could go a few ways. Before 8pm-ish you should consider it a pub/restaurant that is no problem to bring a family. After 8pm-ish it is strictly a bar and you should NOT consider bringing a family. We visited on a Wednesday around 2pm with 6 year old in tow. Honestly the place surpassed my expectations and we were pleased. The bartender/server was very friendly, quick, efficient, and we wanted for nothing. The burgers were both fantastic, and the beers were cheap and cold. They even had a kids menu. If you're in the area, looking for a no frills, no wait service, this is your spot. Don't expect the Taj Mahal here, but don't be afraid to give them a try.

Awesome late-night find! My wife got the BCB Burger and couldn't stop raving about it. I had the chicken fingers and fries -- crispy and hot, just how I like them. Quick service, great food, and a chill atmosphere. Definitely recommend for a casual night out.

Great old school Irish Pub! No frills, good food, cold beer, pool tables and a couple video games on site.

Most unwelcoming place I've ever been. I don't care if you're from out of town. Treat business as business. Left immediately.

My surprise this was the place ...it's very hidden off the beaten path away from to tourists but still close to everything. The inside decor was very modern and very spacious. He had the Nashville hot honey chicken as well as my Fiance. They both loved their food. I had the Margherita pizza and I didn't like it. Had wayyyyyy too many tomato's and I don't want no half cut tomato on my damn pizza, might as well had called it a damn tomato sandwich thats why I can't give 5 stars. Instead of being turned away or treated like a burden, we were immediately welcomed and found a great spot upstairs with awesome views of the village. The food and drinks completely delivered. The beer was fantastic, and you could tell the bartender actually cared about the quality of the pour (you have to try the Blacksmith). We started with the soft pretzels and beer cheese (excellent), but the absolute standout was the Celtic Spice Bag for the entree. I can't recommend it enough--you have to try it. I've been to a lot of Irish pubs around the world, including plenty in Ireland. A lot of places think that slapping some Claddaghs, harps, and four-leaf clovers on the wall while blasting the same five pub songs we all know by heart is enough to make an Irish pub. Boudicca's has the decor and the music, sure, but that's not why we'll be coming back. When you walk into a real pub over on Salt Hill in Galway Bay, what actually makes the place special is the atmosphere. It's the genuine welcome from the people, the care behind the bar, and food that feels unique. Boudicca's captured that exact feeling right in the middle of Tennessee. The staff was fantastic, the vibe was perfect, and we had an absolute blast. Highly recommended.

This is a friendly sort of watering hole. It has a small outdoor covered area in the front with tables. Was a very cute venue inside with tons of different craft beers on tap and in cans/bottles in a huge open refrigerated case and they also served food. We sat at a table and a server came over and pointed to a card on the table with a SKU code to scan for the menu and said orders were placed at the bar. I had wished that the servers took our order at the table as I really didn't want to scream my order over all the bar patrons. Anyway, I went up to the bar and the bartender/server acknowledged me and took my order and she brought it to our table fairly quickly. They said it was free refills on soda which was great. The karaoke set up was great and the DJ was engaging. We enjoyed all of the singers. It wasn't super crowded so there was room to move and you didn't have to push past people or squeeze through a crowd to get to the bar or the restroom which I appreciated. Also the tables were spaced out well. All in all we had a great time and will be back when in the area.

THis one has a story behind it. Got invited to a drum circle in Gatrlinburg by my girlfriend's son…read more We went out that morning to see Cades Cover (big mistake - it was Memorial Day) and swung back around through Townsend (stopped at Mountain Man to have a craft brew on the way). Knowing we were going up to the arts district, I looked for a place to meet them before the circle and saw there was a Celtic Pub. Only that was the spot where the drum circle was. And, to my surprise, it is the same owner as the Fox & Parrot Tavern in Gatlinburg, one of my favorite English pubs (and currently closed do to a feud with the US government - hope that gets fixed). The place is definitely British country feeling. Very nice tap list, including both local brews and standard UK brews. Heavy wood feeling with a very nice deck outside, which includes some spots under cover (which was important as it rained on the circle and people had to duck in). There is nothing elegant about the place or the food. But that is its charm. The fish & chips were on point, esp. with the malt vinegar. Shepherd's Pie a bit salty for my tastes, but not to the salt lick level. Also came with chips. As for the drum circle, if you are reading this in June 2026, that is every Monday at 6-8 PM through the end of the month. I got some great drone footage of the circle, which I added to this review.

I would never come here if I was in a hurry, but if you have 2+ hours to eat and want good food in a storied place with staff who will treat you like friends, you're going to love the Rampant Lion. NOTES: -In rural TN, it should not surprise you, but be aware that they have Trump displays in the restaurant. -The restrooms are single stall and accessed from outdoor. They're indoor restrooms - just the door to access them is on the outside. (No porta potties) They're solidly clean - just make sure to pack clothing that works for the temperature outside because you might be dipping outside a few times. -Parking lot is small and gravel. Relatively easy to get in and out of though. -Amazing gin selection with staff that *clearly* knows their gins. -Adorable photos of the owners on slideshow of their trip to Europe on the wall. It's adorably and clearly a couple who was on a good vacation. We've had a good chunk of their menu at this point. Pretzels: Delicious beer chese AND delicious pretzels. Quite a bit of food with this too. Bread, Oil, & Vinegar: Wasn't super fond of this one. A ton of oil in a bowl made it hard to get the right oil-to-vinegar ratio. Chicken Pie: Deliciously breaded with super-tasty french fries too. Served piping hot, so it took a bit to be able to eat it without burning myself but a wait well-made. Reuben: Partner absolutely loved it and said the bread was the absolute perfect consistency. SO much meat in there too (though he said it could use a bit of extra dressing). Bubbles and Squeak: Delicious. Just delicious. Zero notes, you should eat it. Beanie Weenies: Home-made right in the restaurant! My favorite thing on the menu. Super savory, semi-healthy (beans...at least?), and served super warm. Comfort food at its finest. Menu in-restaurant was different than online one on a few things.

You'll…read moreavoid a lot of the tourist traffic here with its unique vibe, and you'll come away with a memory of "that cute British pub" when it's all over. NOTES: -This place is run on bare bones staff. I'd guess maybe two cooks and the single server. It is not a place to come if you need quick service or quick food. They're very friendly (even if you're not a local!), but definitely come when you have a lot of extra time. -This place is not accessible in the slightest. You'll need to go up two flights of very steep stairs to make it to the front door. The stairs are on the old side, and I was concerned about one breaking. There is no elevator. -The parking lot is relatively small and shared with a nearby Urgent Care. It's gravel and grass, and people mostly made their "own" spot where they wanted. As this made for a haphazard parking lot with small margins for cars, I wouldn't let a newer driver park here. PROS: -Lots of unique British dishes. We've never seen somewhere serving Bubbles and Squeak and lots of other dishes. If you're not familiar with niche British dishes, you'll probably have to pull out your cell phone to figure out what some of this stuff is - and that's really fun. -Food is really good. It tastes like food-your-mom-would-make instead of gourmet takes on these dishes. It has a really authentic, small business vibe to it. -Unique beers on tap too. You aren't going to find Bud Light or Miller Lite on tap here. All of their beers are unique pub fare. They do offer some of the American favorites in a can/bottle, but this is a great excuse to try beers you wouldn't normally have access too. -Despite the older age of the building, the bathrooms are very modern and very clean. Most gas station bathrooms are in worse shape than the ones here. CONS: -It's definitely a small, "small margins" business, and all of the cons that go along with that. Food took awhile, upcharge for using a credit card, non-focal dishes may have been frozen/reheated/canned, and parking was difficult. That all being said, we're looking to come back again, and the atmosphere (and the taste of their unique star dishes) make it one of those places you'll actually talk about when you're done with your trip instead of forgetting that morning you simply went to Denny's to scarf down pancakes.
