Amazing food and style, but I am particularly concerned about health hazards at this cafe. I visited, expecting a nice brunch, but unfortunately had to head home as the employees were not wearing face masks or gloves and I am not comfortable bringing food home that may be contaminated. If you are providing food to the public, you must be wearing face masks and gloves. Even after reporting this scene and telling the employees they are supposed to wear them, nothing has changed a week later. Stumbled across this great cafe on the way to Stamford, CT. Delightful and very clean with a Turkish twist to the menu making it more interesting than most. Amazing place, never disappoints. Their breakfast is always spot-on; I recommend the avocado toast, which comes with a side of fresh potatoes and a salad. The coffee is consistently rich and delicious - especially their speciality drinks, like lattes and the dirty chai. The service is pretty good - they're usually incredibly busy, and given the fact that the waitresses are working during a pandemic, I have no complaints there. Great breakfast, brunch, lunch coffee place with a Turkish twist. I had one of the salads for lunch and it was fresh and tasty. They even have a kids menu and my daughters grilled cheese was made with fresh bakery bread and good cheese. It was too hot for Turkish coffee but my iced coffee was well rounded flavor without a bitter taste. Stopped in because I was in the area and was immediately disappointed. Was "greeted" by some guy who wore the expression 'I'd rather be texting my friends'. I asked a question about the avocado Benedict and he looked at me like I had 2 heads. Asked again and then decided to just order because he couldn't be bothered. Tipped 20% on a Togo order because I was hoping that would brighten his mood-instead he seemed to forget about my order. I waited for 16 minutes before a woman approached me and asked: "are you waiting for something?" I responded: "yes I am waiting for my avocado Benedict". The man who took my order stared at me like he just shit the bed and ran back to the person preparing the food. He whispered in the gentleman's ear to prepare my food and the woman returned to me and said "2 more minutes" as if I'm retarded and couldn't tell they completely forgot about me. He was too much of a coward to approach me and apologize or even acknowledge that I existed. I stared at him waiting for him to at least nod his head and instead he turned away and pretended to reorganize the stuff on the shelf. We were excited to have lunch here since the coffee is good. Service was horrible as was the wait for the food to be ready. We were a party of three and our food took 45 minutes to be ready. No refills on the drinks were offered. First meal was excellent. My daughter ordered mini burgers and fries. Her order was first to the table. We waited another 10 minutes before the rest of the order was ready. A little odd that they would not all come out together. Second meal and third arrived. I had the chicken shush wrap. It was missing an item that was supposed to come with it. The wrap was good but way too small. Third meal was horrible. It was a grilled tuna panini that tasted like shit. Going out for a nice Sunday brunch shouldn't included inattentive service, lack luster food presentation and long waits. For context we ordered red velvet pancakes, açaí bowl, Avocado Benedict combo, fries, 2 orange juices and a lemonade. The red velvet pancakes were dry lacked flavor unevenly cooked and badly thrown on the plate. The açaí bowl or açaí soup as it should of been called arrived watery, lacked presentation and the açaí tasted unnatural also. As for the avocado Benedict toast I couldn't tell you because after the first two dishes arrived and 20 mins passed the last dishes never arrived. We actually left and paid for what we consumed minus the açaí bowl that we sent back. Overall the servers seemed uncaring about the sending back the açaí bowl and us leaving before receiving the last dish. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who likes good food, good service and quality. If you want a lackluster frustrating experience this is the place for you. read more

We had a nice lunch here. We both had lamb gyros which were really good. I also like the look of the place, extensive menu, mix of healthy and some treats. Only nitpicks are cake slices were too small for what they're charging, chairs are too low for the tables and there were constantly people walking in bringing in supplies and also parts to fix things through the restaurant. Hubby had the traditional Turkish eggs with sausage and a side of flatbread plated nicely in a copper pan and wooden plate. I had an omelette with mushrooms, avocado relished with mesclun and berries- the omelette was delish! The Belgian waffle topped with fruits was also a hit with our little one. So I went to this coffee house yesterday . They have a small kitchen and make sandwiches salads. Not a restaurant by any means. But that's ok. So upon arriving (I've been here before and it was ok. ) I asked for a table for two. There were two tables of two , a table for four , and a 6 seat table being occupied by 2 and had 4 seats available. As well as 1 at a counter by the window. I was told I had to wait 10-15 minutes. When I asked why we couldn't sit at one of the many open tables we were told they were reserved. For customers who called ahead. I was like. Are you serious. I am here right now. This isn't a restaurant. It's a coffee house. How could you make customers wait who are here over customers who called ahead ???? Not like we're talking about a party of 10. Tables of 2 or 4. At Max. I will never return to this mediocre coffee snack house again. Id have given zero stars if possible. read more
