Not impressed. Hawaiian Pizza was kinda small for $15 and the dozen wings were dry under the teriyaki sauce. I found the crust to be like cardboard (shoe box not corrugated) in both texture and flavor, and I'm meaning there is none. Think rope without the delicious rope flavor. Wings are obviously cooked in some heat with flavor added after that cooking. They were ok. I'm not going to say that anyone "screwed up" anything, as some people may enjoy this place and the food, but I really didn't find much very remarkable at all. Maybe 2.5 stars because of not getting food poisoning in Groton. read more

Best gluten free pizza around, can't even taste the difference! The Kona is my favorite. Also extremely friendly staff- I called one day asking for gluten free and they had just put everything away which is understandable because it was almost closing time, but Stephanie told me to call and ask her for, especially on Tuesdays before 830pm, and said she's take care of me right away knowing how hard it is to find good gluten free food in the area. I had tried this place a few years ago and was displeased. Pizza was expensive and not very good. I recently moved back to town and for some reason decided to give them a second shot. We came from Kansas and stumbled across the Rolling Tomato as we were driving through. We were seated immediately and tended to promptly by the server. We ordered our pizza (The Smoky). Initially we didn't see there were two separate pages of menus (pizzas + sandwiches/starters/salads) so we missed out on ordering a starter but added on later. We got our pizza promptly and each took our slice when the server brought us a new pizza saying that he accidentally switched pizzas so here was our one we ACTUALLY ordered, and we got the second one free! I preferred the red sauce pizza to the white sauce pizza but was not disappointed! Everything was fast, well priced, clean and in a great environment. If we come back through here, I would definitely eat that pizza again. read more

Beware Gluten Free diners! It is wonderful that they offer gluten free pizza; however, it came out of the oven with charred bits of regular pizza crumbs on the bottom and the cut it with the same pizza cutter as all the other glutinous pizzas which cross contaminated this lovely gluten free pizza. Actually, it wasn't that lovely--it was under cooked. Please, if you want to provide gluten free, you must keep the pizza on a clean pan while baking and use a separate, clean pizza cutter. We were invited to join some friends here the other night with very short notice. I usually look over a menu online so I know what I want, but I didn't have time to do that. I was a little overwhelmed with all of the pizza choices. That is not necessarily a bad thing, but I feel like I would have made a better choice pizza-wise had I been able to look beforehand. The brushetta was pretty awesome, but more like a flat bread. We ordered the Princess Priscilla off of the white pizza menu. It was overly heavy on the pesto. A little bit goes a long way, in my opinion. My husband did not enjoy the pizza it at all. Our waitress was nice, but it took a while to get our drinks refilled. They were not very busy, but I do believe that she was the only waitress working. We will come back and give it another shot with a different pizza or two. read more

This place was talked up, and didn't live up to the hype, for me. It was good. I've certainly experienced way better pizza, having lived in providence and traveled extensively, but i was not highly offended. I would consider the quality a solid step up from the chains, but not really A-team. service was fine. atmosphere doesn't even register... who cares... and the price was a little high for my spoiled expectations. id warn people not to go substantially out of their way, or expect something earthshattering. read more

Shocked this place receives more than 2 stars. My wife and I ordered 3 different types of pies and all 3 were not very good. The clam pizza had next to no clams on it and certainly had no flavor. I ate 3/4 of it and got only 1 bite of clam. No Parmesan flavor as well. So I spent $14 on cooked dough. Plus the pie was cooked well on one side and a little undone on the other. Sad. read more

My boyfriend and I just picked up takeout from here and we are thoroughly impressed. We ordered a Jenny's Tail pizza and a small Uncle Sam sandwich. The pizza was amazing. Thin, crunchy crust with fresh ingredients and delicious sauce. The sandwich was also amazing. Putting the sandwich in the Tuscan bread is really nice added touch. My only qualm was that half of the sandwich was falling apart. Like I'm talking insides of the sandwich oozing out and getting everywhere. I yelped this place and from the street it looks like it's closed because it dark inside, but I guess that's just them setting the mood because they were open. I ordered the classic cheese, figured I'd stick with the basics/foundation of pizza. The pizza was good. The ingredients tasted very fresh. I watched them make the pizza in a brick oven and it took about 15mins to make which is pretty quick. When you are in the mood for great pizza this is your place. The crust is thin with just the right amount of toppings. We tried two half moons which is half a pizza. We had the traditional cheese.
