Some guy from this company was blocking the driveway with his car (this company car). Stared at me while I waited for him to move and then became passive aggressive with lots of attitude. I didn't even say anything or honk. I waited for him to finish drinking and move. He shouldn't have even parked like that blocking the way to begin with. I was driving a large truck for the first time and didn't feel comfortable squeezing through. His grin and clapping and mouthing "great job" pissed me off. You know, these days its hard to get any customer service...not talkin' put my napkin on my lap or refill my water after every sip but ANY service at all. The Rug Bug provided as good as service as I could want. We scheduled an appointment with them (which was about 5 days before their service date) and just as they said they would, we received a phone call 30 minutes before the time they said they would arrive (we could still run errands and get back to the house in time). The cleaner (one of the part owners) was courteous and immediately started working when he arrived. Finished 3 rooms in about 1.5 hours. I helped move some of the furniture but he was nice enough to move the furniture back to its place. He was very friendly and gave me some advice regarding some of the quality and maintenance of the carpeting. 3 rooms was $90, very comparable to other carpet cleaners in the area. They were efficient, on time, and professional. This is a family owned business (over 40 years) that knows their line of work and hopefully will continue to flourish. BTW, we initially went with another company (Cumex) who did not show for their appointment time. When we called them to see what was going on, he informed us that "oh, our machine is broken we won't be able to make it." Really? You can't just give your customer a phone call? We have to call you?
