Brandon came by and dyed the carpet, and it looked fantastic... but was back in a few hours. Turns out my carpet is unusual and would normal dye would not stick... normally I believe they would have then tried a patch, but I had no extra carpet, nor do I have any closets or out of view places with this carpet. So Brandon tried a second day. This also did not stick. He came back a 3rd time to cut the carpet and try to find a close match at a carpet warehouse, but when he came he thought to try one more idea, which was to use pieces from in-between stairs, and it looks fantastic. Through it all I was so impressed with their customer service. Jennifer, who handled all the scheduling, even went to far as to make me feel better about how dumb I felt in staining my carpet. Through all the trail and error, they both made me feel they had my back and would not settle for a failed outcome. One more note, I paid after the first visit, so it's not like a fail would have meant less money for them. That means a lot. Anthony then gave us a price, which seemed a little steep, but we needed the carpet done so we went ahead with the service. He put protective disposable booties that way as he cleaned the carpet, his shoes don't leave marks if they were dirty. After about a half an hour, Anthony was done. He let us know that it was ok to step on the carpet and if we do, it could be slippery. That was really good of him to let us know because my friend with me uses a cane and a wheelchair on occasion. No one informed me beforehand about any "closed door policy," and no one called, texted, or asked the person present in the home before leaving the job incomplete. What frustrated me most was the handling afterward. I rearranged my evening waiting for the technician to return after being told they could come back the same day, but no one showed up. Later I was told the technician got stuck in traffic but still not going to make it. The company repeatedly described communication as "difficult," despite never attempting to contact me before leaving the room unfinished. The refund process also felt unnecessarily defensive. The initial refund offer didn't even fully cover the unfinished room and service fee, and only increased after extended back-and-forth discussions. Mistakes happen, but clear communication and accountability matter. Disappointing experience overall, especially after being so hopeful based on the reviews. A refund of $80 was paid. Now I get to pay another person $125 tomorrow to complete the job. Yegor and his tech offered to come next week. However the furniture has all been moved.
