Anthony was our technician today. He arrived on time and explained the process of how he was going to get the stains out of the carpets. Older carpets seen to clean better from what he said. Anthony then gave us a price, which seemed a little steep, but we needed the carpet done so we went ahead with the service. He put protective disposable booties that way as he cleaned the carpet, his shoes don't leave marks if they were dirty. After about a half an hour, Anthony was done. He let us know that it was ok to step on the carpet and if we do, it could be slippery. That was really good of him to let us know because my friend with me uses a cane and a wheelchair on occasion. When we checked out the carpet and Anthony did an amazing job, the carpets looked brand new!! In the end, we didn't mind paying the price because it was worth every penny! read more

We hired Zerorez for pet odor removal. First, the office staff was very rude and unprofessional. When the technicians came, they told us there was a one-month guarantee and that if we weren't satisfied and the odor wasn't gone, they would come back to fix it. However, they later refused to honor that guarantee. We even checked with a UV light, and it's clear they only removed about 30% of the contamination. read more

Wool area rug. My incontinent uncle had lost some feces on it. Nice guy picked it up, but after two delays, he brought it by so I could see the results. Was appalled. MOST of the feces was gone, not all, but even the area soiled from shoes, every day soil, hadn't even been touched. And some of the feces was still there in a couple of places, including the fringe. He had agreed to working on it more, but no point. Told him to throw it away. More time obviously wouldn't accomplish anything. Should have checked reviews before I engaged them. So poor. read more

Went to check the work, carpet not cleaned as promised, carpet under the door wasn't touched, in a small closet in the room to be cleaned not touched, multiple spots left that were promised to be removed. Tech finished in 50mins, never came back to fix the issue, when I called to complain CS rep, she refused to give me corporate info or manager so I could discuss the issue. Threatened to send me to collections if I didn't pay over $600 for the tech spending an hour at the rental and doing a hasty job. And threatened to add a 30% late fee. Zerorez is an unscrupulous business. They do not inform you upfront that they charge an $85 cancelation fee and that they need a 48 hour notice. Therefore they want payment regardless of whether they do the work. I told them upfront that i wanted them to see the issue and tell me if they could get the stains out of my granite tile kitchen counter top. I wanted an estimate. They said no problem. Next thing I know their tech is coming to do a cleaning. That is NOT what I asked for. Also, they Never once stated their incredibly expensive cancellation policy. I will never use them. I wish I could rate according to different things. So read ahead if you'd like specifics. 1. Scheduling was super easy and very quick. They had the ability to fit me in that very day and made the process so smooth. 2. Though I didn't have any visible stains, they made my carpets looks nice and clean. They even felt softer afterwards. 3. Sadly, this is where they lose me a little bit. The very nice gentleman came and assured us that we had very high quality carpet and because of that, the odor that we were trying to get rid of was most likely sitting at the top of the carpet and that it should come out no problem. I was VERY excited at the thought of not smelling dog pee anymore. We paid more, I assume for them to use some type of treatment for odor. They were in and out in about 30 minutes. 4. Unfortunately, the next morning, the smell was still permeating the room. It's been almost a full week and I have resulted to lighting very fragrant candles because I an't even walk into the room without it smelling absolutely awful. So, customer service wise, they were great. However, I would ay they didn't follow through with what I paid for and the results I was told I would receive. So that was a major bummer. read more

Very frustrated with the poor customer service at Zerorez. We received a quote for $150 to clean two spots where a dog that we were dog sitting peed on our carpet. We have already cleaned the spots several times, so there is no visible stain, but the smell is still lingering. Once the representative arrived at our home, the quote magically changed to $430 (to clean two spots about the size of 12in. x12 in.). Honestly, I would like to be reimbursed by this company for my time that they have wasted. Don't call this company unless you want to pay about three times the amount they quote you over the phone. *Edit* The company did call me back and offer to clean up the mess and redo the area that was left two-toned. I declined because it's just a lot to have going through the house, the preparation of moving furniture, etc. We were able to clean it up ourselves with soap water vacuum and elbow grease.* The technician was nice, but dragging the hoses up our stairs left a TON of dirt, see my pictures including the white rag turned totally brown that was used to clean just a couple of steps. The technician also did a small section in an area that wasn't being done, again, trying to be nice, but he left us with two tone carpet. Called back later and was told I would have to pay the minimum of $159 to get the stairs and the area done. It would have been more fair if they had offered to fix the issues for half that price. Also- it might be zero residue but it is NOT zero chemical- it stinks. They will try to sell you additional treatments including ScotchGuard- that stuff is full of PFOS/PFOA 'forever chemicals', look it up if you aren't familiar. DO NOT USE THEM I would give them no stars. Not only did zerorez ruin our baseboards but they also failed to complete the cleaning and sealing of our tile. They sent the trim damage to their insurance company even after they said they would fix it when they caused over 7 thousand in damages. Worse yet even after they sent their manager out to inspect the damages and flooring he even acknowledged the floor was not done properly and would need to be redone in most of not all areas. Zerorez has failed to respond to schedule a new cleaning and sealing and they also refused to refund any of the payment even though they failed to deliver. After the Zerorez carpet technician cleaned my carpets and moved on to his next job, I noticed a trail of spots on our wood floors from our stairs, through the family and living rooms, to the front door. I figured the technician's equipment had spilled some water. No problem, the spots will dry out just as water spots always do on these floors. By that evening the spots had not dried--they were stains. I followed their trail once again; this time out the front door. The trail continued across the grass to the driveway where the technician parked his truck. The grass was burned white for each spilled drop of whatever the technician was using and ending in a big dead grass area. I figure anyone can make a mistake, so I called the local Zerorez franchise to have them get rid of the stains. I looked up the company on the web and found that "Zerorez offers a 30-day Gotta Love It Guarantee™. If, within 30 days of your appointment, you're unsatisfied with your Zerorez Experience--for any reason at all--we will gladly return and re-treat the areas you're unhappy with." To make a long story short, the Zerorez base manager came out and did a few tests. He assured me that "we can get the stains out" and that our issue was his "top priority." After 4 days I texted the base manager. No response. After a week I called him and left another text message. No response. Finally got any email saying that our floors were the problem, not Zerorez. Just had our carpets cleaned (we thought last Friday night 7/17/21). Our appointment was between 3 and 6 and he showed up at 5:30p (dinner time of course). We advised the tech what we wanted cleaned: a main room, living room, 2 bedrooms and a hall way. He charged us for 2 packages that covers 3 rooms at $129 each then upsold us on some sort of protectant. We told him that our carpets are only one year old he said the protectant on them was not that great and his would be better. We trusted his judgement. We moved all the items in our house to make it easier for him to clean so all he had to do was clean. I asked him about the shadow that was left around where my office chair mat was and he said that was staining. Staining, it is a chair mat that protects carpet and so my chair can roll. After he left there were so many dust bunnies left behind. Our carpets were not even damp. Next morning woke and and to our disappointment walking around the house in day light our carpets look terrible, The don't look clean at all! We noticed a lot of spots he missed around our bed and couch. I am very disappointed and will be asking for a refund so I can get someone else to come do their job and not just scope out my home and put me into the heat of the day! read more

The tech, Andrew, was very polite and professional. There is no doubt ZeroRez does good quality work. I used them in 2020 and had an excellent experience with the owner, who was the tech that day. The pricing I got this time was outstanding and significantly better than 2020. The key is to take advantage of promotional pricing usually offered during wetter/raining weather. I called them again in 2022 to have them come back again to do the exact job at the same price but got a pricing run-around, "Bait and Switch" scheme from their inside sales person Rose. There pricing model depends on up-pricing you once they get there as many reviewers have noted on their yelp. I found it annoying and went with a different company that also did professional, quality work. They are scamming customers left and right. Shawn the owner was horrible when it comes to customer service. He wouldn't call me back for days and I kept calling to follow up. He kept telling me I signed a waiver. I kept repeating to him that I did not sign a waiver for you to make my entire house smell bad. He was above rude to me! All three items they did for me had no improvement and one item the smell was so bad I had to throw it out! Without going into every little detail, they are scamming you. I had my carpets cleaned over a month ago and they still look great! I wanted to wait before I wrote a review, because we had a horrible spot caused by another company using too much of the wrong type of cleaning solution. We had tried other companies in the past that were not able to get the spot out that well, then it would return worse than before. Overall, the carpets were cleaner after this cleaning and left softer after the drying process. The person that did our service was super nice and professional. Disappointed and disgusted. The one guy (Steve) who did my house only had an old-wand style applicator that he whacked and pulled so fast that he pulled up my carpet! I had to have it re-stretched afterwards. The ZeroRez people claim that it is their magic "deionized" water that cleans, but he left the place so wet that there were puddles and it was still dirty. It took 3 days to dry. The guy claimed my carpet was "inferior" (it's almost new and high quality) and didn't even rake it! The spots came right back almost immediately. To add mischief to misery, the little banty-rooster of a guy left a uniform shirt in my bedroom! My husband thought it was funny as he was on the phone with me getting all the info in real time. The cleaners that showed up were very professional and friendly so nothing against them. However I am not sure about the product and the company. It's really expensive and don't feel it's worth it! My carpets and rug still look the same, I was expecting more of a wow factor for that kind of price! I'll be honest I maintain my carpets pretty clean so no stains but its been a while since we got them put in and was hoping to clean them and notice the difference but that's not the case! My area rug literally looks like they just poured water on it and not actually washed it, ABSOLUTELY no difference! My grandma really needed to get her carpets clean and I was very impressed with what Zerorez was able to do. There was literally a line in the carpet where their machine pulled through the carpet. My grandma also has three dogs (the small yappy kind). The tech was really good about it even though they barked the whole time. I now have a DISGUSTING STICKY CHEMICAL RESIDUE though out my hole down stairs floor and that one 4x4 spot upstairs. It's so terrible we cannot even walk barefoot in our own house. Before they came the carpets felt fine with a stain here or there near like the counter area. There's also huge stains going up my stairs where he dragged the house up and down the stairs. So I called they office the apologized and told me the technician was inexperienced. Then proceeded to tell me that I didn't call within 30 days. That's there's nothing they will do. They told me that if I payed them to come do the work a second time they will send a senior technician. Seriously zerorex you want me to pay to have a senior technician to come fix your mistake for sending a unqualified technician to ruin my house take accountability where you guys did wrong and make it right. I contacted Zerorez-Sacramento based on the referral I received from a friend. The new owner, Mike Rincon and his team of Rebecca and Joe were marvelous and provided superior service!!! Mike even called me while he was on his vacation visiting family. I live in a very remote area about 1.5 hours from Zerorez. Most companies simply will not even consider coming to our home because of the distance. Mike never hesitated in accepting us as customers despite the distance. Zerorez scored a couple of points with us right away because this! Also, I didn't give them much notice that I needed carpets cleaned same week. Again, no problem! Mike made arrangements for the work to be completed within just a few days. Score again! The service tech, Joe arrived as scheduled. He was courteous, professional and knowledgeable. At no time did he try to up sell me on additional service. He had been informed that I don't like scented products so offered to let me smell the surfactant before he started the work. Thank you Joe! (By the way, the products did not leave a scent in the house at all!!! A huge plus in my books ) He did a very thorough job on our floors without wasting any time. The carpet was dry within about 4 hours of Joe leaving. The carpet looks and feels clean. LOVE the results! I am now a loyal Zerorez-Sacramento customer!!!
