Super personable, great energy, and made the whole experience feel effortless. I ordered the peanut butter and jelly burger--smash-style patty with bacon, peanut butter, jelly, Tabasco, and pickles--and wow... one of the most unique and satisfying burgers I've had in a long time. It hits that perfect balance of savory, sweet, and nostalgic. I asked Paul what he would pair with it, and he absolutely nailed it. He introduced me to "Chimp My Ride" from Solano Brewing Company, a rich stout with chocolate and peanut butter notes that complemented the burger perfectly. It honestly brought back that childhood lunchbox feeling in the best way possible. Tucked away back off the street adjacent to a small hidden courtyard, Three Mile Brewing has a calm, quiet, secluded feeling right in the heart of downtown Davis. Perfect for putting the world on pause while taking a moment to enjoy some beers. & the beers are tasty. To my taste, from what I've tried, overall, Three Mile Brewing makes the best beers in town. & very important to me, they serve taster pours/ flights. While I may occasionally have the full pint of a crisp lager, I prefer smaller pours of bigger beers. Service has been friendly, informative, & attentive. At this point, altogether, I've tasted well over a dozen of their beers. Just about all of them have been good to great. For tasty beers & some tranquility in downtown Davis, Three Mile Brewing is where I'm going.
