Local Vegas chain, open 24 hours and I'm told their breakfast is a must; however we were there in the afternoon for munchies. My friend, who is a local, brought us here after a show, we needed a snack and an adult beverage. We both had margaritas and ordered a couple appetizers - The kettle chips and dip and the bacon cheeseburger nachos. Both were good, but the nachos were next level, we cleaned the plate.... Even though the serving was huge! The selection of appetizers was broad and lots of options for salads, burgers and other basic stardards. Our waitress was super friendly and helpful. The place was clean and obviously popular as it was filling up by the time we left. Lots of TVs for the sports lovers and a full bar. Stopped in last night for this Meatloaf special and a salad. The house salad $5.95 and the Meatloaf $12.95. You can't beat the price and the quality is definitely worth going for. All the food here has always been good. Ambiance of this place is nice, it was not crowded, a few people at the bar and I was the only table. I've had the server I had last night before and I'm just not impressed. First she comes to the table and acts like she is just meeting me for the first time? I just let it go because I knew where this service was headed. I ordered my food and I asked for the salad to come out first. Normally that means please bring the salad and give me a chance to eat it before you bring the food out. Well not to this server, but she did bring it out first! She brings the salad out and I maybe got 3 bites and then she brings my food out. I look at her and I say, "already? That was fast? I asked for my salad first thinking I'd have time to eat it before my food came out"? She laughs and says, I told the kitchen to space it out but he just put it up so??? And walks away?? Really?? You're going to blame the kitchen? So I push the salad aside and turn to the meatloaf because I'm not going to let that get cold. A really nice young lady came over and introduced herself as the Manager on Duty, she was also one of the bartenders and asked if everything was good. I told her the food was great but the server? I explained the above about my conversation with this server. She said she was really sorry and would take the salad off my bill. I told her no, I come in all the time, I ordered the salad, I'm taking it home and it will get eaten so please do not take it off the bill. She gave it a good effort but eventually she left it on the bill which I was thankful for because it came home and got eaten. So, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Timber's, the food is really good. This location does not have pizza but other locations do. Lastly, I get boxes for the salad and the rest of the meatloaf, I bag everything up, the server asks if I want anything else, I say no, she tried to push dessert HARD, I continue to say no thank you, thinking she will just bring the bill. Nope, she goes back to the bar and starts chit chatting with one of the bartenders. After watching this for a few minutes I put my hat on hoping she will get the hint I'm done; (food in boxes, food in bag ready to go, not needing or wanting anything else).... The Bartendar notices I put my hat on and sends her back over. I pay the bill, thank the young lady who is the manager on duty and leave. Second bad service experience in two weeks with this server. Next time if she is serving, I'll be sitting at the bar. The server is the reason for 3 stars otherwise it would have been higher. read more

My son bought a new truck, and offered to take me out to celebrate. We didn't want to go far from home, and wanted a place where we could sit down, not fast food. We are new to Vegas and had seen Timbers but didn't know anything about it. We decided to give it a try. When you walk in, it gives off a friendly and welcoming vibe. There were TVs everywhere! A very nice young lady named KC said we could sit anywhere we'd like. There are these huge wonderfully comfortable looking chairs and tables near a fireplace, we chose them. And they were comfortable!! We started with drinks and appetizers, and then ordered burgers. For appetizers we got the bacon burger nachos and the homemade chips( they had a name-but I'm in a food coma and forgot it) they come with a side of French onion dip. I seriously could go on about each little detail in both appetizers, but suffice to say they were both AMAZING! We were comfortable after sharing them, but decided to order some burgers ( hence the food coma). I had the cheeseburger with pepper jack cheese and chips-KC brought me more dip!!! My son tried the burger with Swiss cheese and mushrooms and a side of potato fries. I managed to eat my burger but got the chips and dip to go. The burgers were great. KC helped me logon to their app, as we told her we'd be back. She said we can earn points for drinks and stuff in the future. She mentioned a Pumpkin spice martini... I may go back this weekend! She was friendly, helpful and genuine. The place was comfortable and for the curious ones-their bathroom is clean. There really is a lot to be said for first impressions, and my first impression was 10 out of 10. It smells like an old time bar... and I mean that in a good way. I love that smell for some reason! The faint smell of beer and cigarettes! Stopped in for a beer and some wings and while the beer was tall and cold, the wings tasted like they were pre-cooked, then re-cooked. I've eaten enough wings to know these weren't freshly made. The fries were pretty good. The service brought this up from 3 stars. The waitress was awesome and made sure to bring ranch for both the wings AND the fries. Our server, Jaclyn, was super friendly and helpful. We also met the manager who was very nice as well. The atmosphere was quiet for a Sunday morning, and conversation was easy. The restaurant area smelled of cigarette smoke because it's right next to the gaming, but that didn't really bother me. Our breakfast was good. The coffee was overpriced so I'll skip that next time. The servers here are really friendly! You are greeted when you walk in and over the course of time, I have always found everyone to be super pleasant. I like that any late night food hungers have a cool late night bites menu at great prices! Wandering in after midnight I wanted to go for an option on the late night bites menu. I craved some breakfast and for $5 - it's a total steal of a deal! It's a full on breakfast portion - two eggs, meat, toast, and choice of home fries or hash browns. I really like the home fries - puffy potatoes! The bartender was by herself working the entire bar and dining area. Given all the tasks - she did great. She always had a smile. We visited on Friday for lunch with a party of three and it was a good experience. We were told to seat ourselves upon arrival and we chose a booth off to the side. The dining area was large and clean. The waitress stopped by and took drink orders, their margaritas are tall and strong. We started with Bacon Cheeseburger Nachos. Not sure why they are called that, as there is no bacon at all. None the less, they were very good and included two salsas. From there we ordered the Bozeman Beef Dip, New York Steak Sandwich, and Baby Bear Breakfast. The Bozeman was very, very salty, and I like salt, but this was too much. The pancakes on the breakfast were quite heavy, not fluffy. Basically the food was ok, not great. The service was also ok, there were extended periods when the waitress was absent, but it got better near the end of the meal. She was nice and sociable. I arrived here to an empty bar. Sat at the bar, stayed watching TV and looked through the menu to find something to try. A lady walked in that the bartender was clearly familiar with and they started to chat. A few minutes later, I literally was told to sit somewhere else because the ONLY other person in the bar wanted to play the machine I was sitting at. Now I understand that machines are reserved for players, but usually in other bars I go to, this only applies when there are no other machines available. WOW! NEVER will I go into any Timbers again! Gamblers beware!!! I went in, put $40 in their video poker machine and played $1.25 (fast, I play a lot of hands) the entire time, even when I was eating (I had ordered some of their very expensive food). My machine was actually really hot for once so I was not stopping even for my food. I was hitting flushes and full houses and straights and I even hit a four of a kind. So I cash out $80 when the machine had cooled off and ask for my bill. I was extremely surprised when the Bill came and not a single one of my drinks was comped and I only had two drinks because I was playing so many hands. I questioned my drinks not being comped with the waitress and she had to get an assistant manager and he said oh you won $40 and I was like what the hell, I probably played 200 hands. So he wouldn't comp all my drinks so basically for $14 they are going to lose my business for the rest of my life, not to mention, I will forever. Tell everyone I know never to gamble at timbers because you might get a big surprise at the end of the night. I could care less about the $14, it's all about principle and they don't have a single sign anywhere telling you that you were going to have to pay for your drinks if they don't think you played enough or if you win?? After having a bad experience at another local Timbers we decided to try this one. Big mistake. Apparently all Timbers cares about is the money. There are no signs on the machines the bartenders were friendly and the food was good. When we went to leave they told us we had not gambled enough and that we had to pay for our drinks. My husband had played continuously since his butt hit the chair playing maximum each hand but they said that didn't matter. It only mattered that he put in a 20 and cashed out 80. He happened to win so therefore he should pay for his food. They told me I didn't gamble up to their standards. The assistant manager came out and reiterated with the bartenders had said. My husband and I went to this place for the first time about 2 weeks ago. It's your typical bar and grill. The menu has average bar offerings. So, not too much to choose from as a true dinner entree. We decided to try the fish and chips because we were enjoying the music. The server said the music changes daily depending on the day of the week. We were listening to tunes from the 1970's and the 1980's. The fish and chips were one of the best we've had here in Vegas. The meal had 3 fillets that were cooked to perfection. The breading was a tempura batter that was light and flakey. Plus fries and coleslaw. Everything was yummy and we were having a great time, till right in the middle of a song we were enjoying the station was ABRUPTLY changed. We complained and were just ignored. They put on some hip hop crap. We paid our bill and left. Guess they didn't want us to sit around and spend more money on booze. Their loss. Yuck!!! Ordered the plain chicken fingers and they took the word "plain" too seriously. There was absolutely no flavor at all!!!!! NONE!!! No seasoning on the chicken itself and NO seasoning on the breading what so ever!!! It was so tasteless I thought for a moment that I might have Covid19 and lost my sense of taste. I thought that because even the French fries were flavorless. My goodness what a long way a pinch of salt would have gone. But the chicken fingers were crispy. It was kinda like eating crispy cardboard. I recall that I had the same flavorless problem a couple years ago when we ate there and I ordered the fish and chips. Bar food is just that, bar food. You're not going to get gourmet or anything even remotely close but a pinch of salt could go such a long way. We only ordered from here because my sister had a gift card. This place is one of only a few open late night near our house. The first time we stopped in on our way home after work their was a female bartender and she was very nice, taking care of us at a table. We tried 2 other times when there was a male bartender and even though there was one customer t the bar and one at a table (who was white) one time and no customers the other time he yelled at us for trying to sit at a table because "I have no server" - what else did he have to do? So, we left both times thinking it was just because of our skin color. Last week we went in during the day twice because we are off that week and unfortunately had the same female bartender both times. All she wanted to do was stand and talk to her friend about her divorce (which after listening to her we feel so sorry for her ex) and how because she has lost weight how she can get any gut she wants. She acted perturbed when we interrupted her to try to get service. When our food came out it sat there forever because she was too busy with her friend and at that point we were the only other customers and were afraid to interrupt her for even a refill on our drinks - which even if our glasses were empty and she looked in our direction we were never asked if we wanted a refill. Then another customer came in. He sat three for almost ten minutes while she complained about her divorce to her friend before more politely than I would have saying "I'm sorry to hear you are getting divorced, but can I get a drink?". Her response was to f-bomb him while asking how he knew about her divorce. Then whenever he would ask for a ticket for a drawing they have she would yell that she has it, write her friends name on it, show it to her and they would both laugh. girl - if you are going to brag about your divorce so loud evryone can hear it expect everyone to know about it, and from what I saw both times you can lose all the weight you want, you will never get another man. read more
