Truly the definition of a family run business. My friend had a classic breakfast with eggs, potatoes and toast, while I was very interested in the vegetable grilled cheese sandwich that was piled with vegetables in addition to the cheese. You just don't see that every day. They mentioned they had ordered more hoagie buns than they needed so in addition to the specials, which included a pistachio fluff homemade waffle that definitely had my attention, you were free to dream up any hoagie combination you like. So I asked for the vegetable grilled cheese on a hoagie bun and it was incredibly delicious. Paired with super crispy tater tots, it was the tastiest, low-key brunch I've had in a while. Note that they are cash only, they mention this on the door but I completely missed it and pulled out my debit card. She kindly reminded me about the policy and mentioned they have ATM in the shop, but there is also a PNC ATM across the street. I ran over there and got cash and it was all good. The eggs and sausage were both perfectly cooked but I found the pancakes to be incredibly disappointing as they were way too dense and chewy. The other downside being it took almost 30 minutes for my meal to come out despite the minimal crowd.
