I really wanted to like this place, however, when an establishment wants to use huge loaves of bread for a sandwich, I wish they would take into consideration the lack of meat and condiments used. I don't remember the name of my sandwich, but I do remember it being underwhelming in quantity and taste. Beware of the "signature" crusted bread. I thought it was a hard crust when being soft inside. WRONG, it is a weird hard texture that reminds me of a tire track! If you want the top of your mouth to be raw for days, you might enjoy it. If you are unfortunate enough to remember eating captain crunch, stay away. read more

This review is long overdue -- been here maybe 10-15 times or so over the past 6 months. Easiest 5 star review I have ever left, anywhere. First for the food, second for the service. Re: the sandwiches, they are the best I've ever had, a good 10-20% better than other places. I'm a decent home cook, when I put the effort in I'll make sandwiches / subs about the same level as the better shops (Jersey Mike's, Jimmy Johns etc, thank you Ethan Chlebowski's youtube channel), but these guys are a cut above. These guys understand flavor combinations and which combinations of add-ons go with which type(s) of mouthfeel, it's actually quite incredible. Plus their sauces are top tier as well. More importantly the service might be the best I've seen in any restaurant, ever. These guys are always smiling and doing the right thing -- the first time I ever came here they forgot my potato salad to go, when I got home I noticed and decided not say anything (it happens), and I was happy anyway because the sandwiches were tasty and also a good portion. But, I guess they noticed an extra potato salad when they closed out for the day. Anyway the next time I came by was weeks later, the owner said hi and was like, "It's so good to see you! I owe you a potato salad." I blinked at him a few times because I'd literally forgotten about it, but the owner remembered my face or maybe my car and the fact that he'd forgotten to include it as part of the order weeks beforehand. Who does that?! For me, I don't think anything like that has happened to me in a restaurant, ever. And this is a casual sandwich shop, it's not competing with some Michelin star restaurant yet somehow the service is better. AND the sandwiches are extremely tasty, a good size and a fair price. What more can anyone want, you know? So anyway -- easy 5 star review. Absolutely worth stopping by if you haven't already. read more

I've been going to this spot since it opened, the sandwiches and the staff with the exception of the owner are good. He makes ordering completely awkward and uncomfortable. One of the best sandwiches I've ever had!!! There's a learning curve when trying any new place. Next time I will order extra toppings, as that's my own preference. I am new to being a vegetarian.
