I think the ihop in Enfield is well above most others, but The Farmers House was something else entirely. The food was so good and the kids talked about it all day. The staff were quick and friendly, but busy. We all got something different (French toast, an omelette, and kids pancakes) and each of the three of us were very pleased with our choices. They don't do anything here you haven't had before, but they do everything very well. The only thing I could say was not great, and I hate complaining about things like this, is the parking. I know that's got little to do with the restaurant itself, but it is not the easiest spot to get in and out of, especially with everything going on at the X lately.

We really wanted to like this cute restaurant. It is nicely decorated, the waitstaff was friendly,…read moreand the food was mostly pretty good. However, our party of four waited 50 minutes for our breakfast. Even coffee took quite a while to arrive. A canned coke was delivered 20 minutes after ordering. Three out of the four entrees were served after waiting for 50 minutes, the other one took an additional 5 minutes and we waited for another 5 minutes to receive the side. The food was mostly good - Omelet was chock full of meat and was delicious. Bacon was really good. Burger was average and fried chicken was kind of meh - crispy, but very dry. We did enjoy the live acoustic music. It was great to hear live music in the morning since most places only have it at night. However, the excessive wait for food really overshadowed the rest of our visit. Oh well.....

My experience matched Karen P's exactly. The walk to the restroom was really bad. Dirty floors,…read morebuckets of ??, awful odor. When was the last inspection? If we hadn't already paid, I would have walked out. Staff sits at the bar playing on phones, kitchen staff horsing around. Food felt like warmed up leftovers. Where's pride of ownership?

My husband and I received an EB's gift card for Christmas. We had never been there so we were eager…read moreto try it. We were very impressed. Everything was excellent. My husband had bone in wings and tortellini soup and I had boneless wings and french fries, everything was delicious. My boneless wings were very flavorful and they gave you a good size portion, you could tell the chicken was so fresh and the french fries were the best, they were just potato, sometimes restaurants coat them and I hate that, these were traditional french fries and super hot which I love. My husband said his wings were excellent too and the tortellini soup was great. The tortellini's were al dente they didn't overcook them at all. The blue cheese dip that came with the wings was the best we've ever had chock full of blue cheese chunks. The waitress was super nice, the bag she gave me to take the leftovers home was a type of bag I was looking for to keep in my bag dispenser at home. She gave me a little pile of them and even found out for me where I could buy them, which was excellent information, I purchased a box at Restaurant Depot in Chicopee. As I mentioned this was our first time there, will definitely go back. Also, since EB's is close to Geisslers Grocery Store, it's a good opportunity to get some groceries in this wonderful one of a kind grocery store, hard to find a salad and soup bar in the area but they have it and it's amazing! Delicious, wide variety of bakery products available too.
