Happy to report that Chuck is one of the good ones. It can feel weird to have someone inside your home, looking at every room (as is needed for a consultation), but upon talking to Chuck on the phone and meeting him in person, we instantly felt at ease. He's honest, great at explaining his recommendations, and most importantly, never pressured us into making a decision we weren't ready for. Ironically, that is what led us to signing a contract with him on the spot. What also made us feel more comfortable was knowing that it would be either Chuck or his son, Carlos, handling the install. Carlos was very respectful when he was installing the roller shades and proactively asked whether we were happy with them. Even when I asked Chuck about the valances, he came by to check them himself the same day. We're super happy with the service and also the quality of the roller shades we got and would whole-heartedly recommend them to anyone.

We chose a simple clean design and it has greatly reduced the amount of light and heat coming in. I am glad we left two high south facing windows uncovered as there is no overhead light in that room. A good friend of mine recommended Excellent Blinds. They quickly sent a staff over to do all the measurement. To my big surprise, their overall price is even better than Lennar's design center which is at a very reasonable level. Daniel is very kind and professional. I was not at the property when they sent the team to do the installation. However, they sent me all the detailed pictures showing every single window with the blinds installed. Later I mistakenly broke a plastic clip in one window top cover board. It is totally my fault because I use too much force to pull up the window behind the blind. I called Daniel and he is so nice and provided me free replacement. I truly appreciate that. It makes the whole blind experience such a pleasant one. I highly recommend Daniel and his shop!! THANKFULLY THOUGH, I was referred to this business from my Lash Girl, Tatiana (shoutout!). Originally I got a quote from a diff business- they told me close to $12k. I thought to myself that that had to be insane.... So i did myself a service by fetching a second quote and i'm so glad that i reached out to Drill N Hang. Not only was it MORE THAN HALF off my original quote, but the quality even is amazing that hey maybe THIS job could pass for the $12k price tag The two guys that came over to install were EFFICIENT- in and out in practically like an hour or so. Seamless execution and i'm pleased. The shades were beautiful and turned out better than i expected and i'm so happy i went with Drill N Hang. *** A little bonus- I had a few weeks to wait for the shipment of blinds to come in, Bannion was so kind to even take measurements for me to shop for my own curtains + rod (at least for temporary privacy in my bedroom!) AND even came by outside of the job to install it for me. I'm so grateful to have reached out to Drill N Hang. I couldn't have had a better experience with installing shades at my new home. I recently…read morehad new doors installed , so I hired their distributor, Apollo , to take down and reinstall the doors. The tech who came out, Will Smith, was professional and totally upfront with me. He told me that both of my screens had ripped at the bottom because the original installer Apollo sent me in November (Jacob) didn't cut the bottom track at a 45-degree angle like he was supposed to. This mistake caused the mesh to catch and tear on the sharp metal. Will did a great job fixing the screens and cutting the metal frames down to fit the new opening, and we shook hands on a $600 total payment. The problem is Apollo's corporate office. When I reached out to them to ask for a partial refund to cover the mesh repair caused by their first guy's bad install, they were completely unhelpful. Jacob the original installer, is no longer in business and Will Smith is now the installer. They sent my emails straight to spam, gave me the runaround, and finally claimed they couldn't help because they "aren't a franchise" and claimed they had no record of me, despite my original receipt explicitly saying "Apollo LLC."It is really disappointing that a luxury brand refuses to take responsibility when a technician they personally referred messes up an installation. Will Smith did a great job fixing the issue, but Apollo Corporate does not stand behind their product or their customers. If you want a high-end retractable screen with actual customer service, you may be better off looking at Phantom Screens or Mirage instead. Apollo will claim that they aren't responsible for their installers, but they directly referred me to Jacob who didn't install correctly, so who is at fault? A premium brand should back the workmanship of the professionals they assign to represent them.

Outstanding Experience - Exceptional Service from Chris!…read more If you're considering custom blinds or drapes, I wholeheartedly recommend Chris and his company. From start to finish, the experience exceeded my expectations. Chris is incredibly knowledgeable about his products and has the perfect balance of professionalism and genuine friendliness. He took the time to understand my style, answer every question, and explain the options without ever making me feel pressured. What truly set him apart was the extra effort he invested in helping me visualize the finished project. He went above and beyond by creating vivid images of what my rooms would look like with the different blinds and drapes I was considering. That personalized touch gave me the confidence to make the right decisions for my home. I also greatly appreciated that Chris respected my budget. Rather than encouraging me to spend more, he carefully selected options that delivered both exceptional quality and beautiful style without compromising either. It's refreshing to work with someone whose goal is finding the right solution rather than simply making a sale. His commitment didn't end with the purchase. Chris paid close attention to every detail to ensure my blinds and drapes were measured accurately and installed properly. His dedication to customer satisfaction and pride in his work were evident throughout the entire process. The finished result transformed my home. Every time I walk into the room, I'm reminded that investing in quality products--and working with the right professional--makes all the difference.
