(Love that always) lovely conversation with the server who was manning the place down by herself though there wasn't that many of us she held the place down, was attentive and had a great conversation without being too much. Very genuine. * Banchan options were ok - note: typically at all Korean places the banchan is free and endless (here I overheard you have one refill of you favorites) which I did request. * tofu soup - so so yummy especially w the cold weather. It warmed up my tummy and a side bowl of white rice was the perfect lunch for me AND I had leftovers. Though I didn't have this time - This place is great for all you can eat kbbq options and for those who like to have drinks with friends. Seems they have some good drink specials! ^_^

You know those meals that make you sit back mid-bite and say, "Oh wow... this is it. This is my…read morepersonality now." That's Daruma. Let's start with the lobster roll, because this thing deserves its own standing ovation. Perfectly chilled lobster, just the right touch of creamy sauce, wrapped up like a little sushi love letter. It's rich without being heavy, and it'll ruin you for any other roll in town. Then there's the spicy ramen, which might be one of the most comforting, soul-recharging bowls you'll find in Greeley. The broth hits you with that warm, savory hug you didn't know you needed, and the spice level is dialed in perfectly - enough to wake up your taste buds but not enough to make you regret life choices. The vibe? Cozy, chill, and just a little fancy without being intimidating. Perfect for a date night, family dinner, or that solo night out where you pretend you're the mysterious main character in an indie film. Bottom line: Daruma is the kind of place you keep coming back to because it just gets it. Go for the lobster roll, stay for the spicy ramen, and thank me later.

The rolls were solid, and the taste was good I would recommend them to anyone. The chicken katsu was done well, the chicken was crispy and the rice was warm and very good as well. It was also served with cabbage and another sauce as well as broccoli and carrot slices. The udon noodles were nice and springy they tasted fresh and the broth was somehow sweet with onions in it. It also came with a piece of shrimp tempura, cucumber, and carrots. I can honestly say that it is one of my favorite udon noodles yet. The broth felt very nice and homemade, would recommend these to anyone! I have had the boba and a few other dishes, and I have never had anything from here that I have not liked!

Either the broths lacked flavor, the meats weren't fresh enough, or the overall experience just didn't live up to the hype. At one point I genuinely thought maybe hotpot in Colorado just wasn't for me. But my friends, who absolutely LOVE this place and come here all the time, basically forced me to give it a try, and wow, I'm so glad they did. From the first bite, I could immediately tell this place was different. The broth was rich, flavorful, and comforting in a way that makes you want to keep eating even after you're already full. Everything tasted fresh, high quality, and actually well-prepared. The meats, veggies, noodles, and sides all complemented each other perfectly, and the whole experience just felt cozy and satisfying. Another thing that really stood out to me was the service. Every server I've interacted with here has been incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. They genuinely make the experience even better because the atmosphere feels warm and inviting from the moment you walk in. You can tell they care about making customers feel comfortable and taken care of. Now it's literally all I think about whenever the weather starts getting cool outside. Like the second there's even a slight chill in the air, this place immediately comes to mind. It's become one of those comfort meals that you randomly crave late at night because nothing else compares. The kind of food that warms you up completely and makes you leave feeling happy and full. Honestly, this place changed my opinion on hotpot in Colorado completely. If you've been disappointed by other hotpot spots around here like I was, PLEASE give this one a chance because it is on a completely different level.

That's a pretty strong endorsement. Also the interior of the restaurant was fairly modern and clean. For anyone unfamiliar with it, soondae (순대) is a traditional Korean blood sausage made by stuffing pork or beef intestines with a mixture of blood, glass noodles, rice or starch, and seasonings. It's one of Korea's most popular street foods and is typically enjoyed with salt or a dipping sauce. One thing to know before you go: this restaurant specializes in soup-based dishes. Every entrée revolves around soup, including the bulgogi. I had never seen bulgogi served in a broth before, so it was a pleasant surprise for both my boyfriend and me. Most of the soups also included clear glass noodles and came in a wide variety of combinations, so there were plenty of options to choose from. One detail I really appreciated was their takeout packaging. If you have leftovers, they use a professional heat-sealing machine that applies a thin plastic seal over the container before the lid goes on. It's a thoughtful touch that keeps the soup leak-proof and makes transporting leftovers much easier. If you're craving authentic Korean comfort food--especially soondae soup--this place is definitely worth a visit.

One alcoholic drink is included, and they also have unlimited appetizers, which is a nice touch. The selection is good, though I do wish they had a few more options compared to some other places I've been, like a hot pot in Westminster (or maybe Bloomfield). That said, they have tons of meats -- lamb (my favorite!), every type of beef you can imagine, some chicken -- and six different broth options. We always go with the spicy broth. The appetizers are tasty, the kimchi is excellent, and the staff is super friendly. One of my favorite waitresses is from Bali, and she always shares stories about it -- makes the experience even more personal. The restaurant is clean, the price is great, and overall it's a really enjoyable experience. If you're in the Greeley area and like hot pot or Korean BBQ, it's worth checking out!

The grill is warmed for you to try to be your best gourmet chef trying not to get "Chopped", or self poisoned from possibly undercooking your protein selection. The sauces that I discovered on my 2nd blind journey to the "buffet of wonder", were quite varied and tasteful (mostly). Once done, I still sat confused, but with a full belly. If I don't have another review, you will know my fate from King Pot. A suggestion for a " Directions on how to do this thing" was made upon my exit. Seoul Kitchen serves a variety of Korean foods and since there are many things I cannot order as I have limits for digestion reasons, so no garlic or extreme salt. Hard to do these days but I found a tasty lunch anyway. Staff was friendly and helpful and since wiring alone with so many pots cooking he has a bell on the counter. As I was there today earlier than most students eat lunch, I found a table easily and it was quieter than in the past. An item I could eat easily was the Kimpop ( as they spell it) though the order was larger than I expected it was tasty, full of veggies and a little meat, some egg and many pickled bits. It was a bit on the sweet side as some pickles rely on sugar more than acid . A little more tang would have been nice. The Jasmine tea was also sweet, a poor choice by me though. But overall it was a satisfying lunch at an excellent price and I brought home enough for a snack for my husband when he gets back from Denver. We will try a hit and heartier meal to share next time. Students really need the large portions more than we do.
