    Caesar Salad
    Susan H.

We had a late lunch, so only wanted something light I had the caprese salad. My bf had a Caesar salad. We both enjoyed them. We sat in a comfortable booth in the back. Happy it wasn't loud despite many tables being full and a good band playing outside in front. BIG shout out to our super waitress, Emma. After we were seated, we asked if we'd have time to eat and be back to the hotel in time for the fireworks. She said yes. We had nearly an hour, but she hustled like we only had 20 minutes. Emma was friendly, professional and did her utmost to get us out on time. I was really impressed. We're only here for two days. I hope to return tomorrow when we can relax and have some pasta.

We researched several Italian restaurants in the area prior to trying my My Cousin Vinny's Italian restaurant. We ordered the chicken Parmigiana and even though the chicken itself was a little thinner than I prefer the Marinara sauce was amazing. The sauce is house made and very flavorful. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant atmosphere was great. We highly recommend if you're in the mood for great Italian food give My Cousin Vinny's a try, you won't be disappointed. We actually went there twice lunch and dinner.

Great Italian food. Excellent portions. We were all very pleased. Service was great (Thank you, Shea (Shay?) !). Lasagna: big, delicious, marinara not too sweet Chicken portobello: chicken was tender, mushrooms good, veggies a nice texture (Those are the only two dishes I sampled) Craft beers available. Clean and neat, but seating was tight! Four of us 'round a table was tough. We made do, and we all mostly like each other, so it was fine. Just know it can be snug.

Ladies and gentlemen of the j-j-j-j-j-j JURY, I am here to tell you this place is great. Do you like pizza? Pasta ? Great service? No need to shoot the clerk, this place has it all. There's more to the menu than simply "lunch" and "dinner" and if they served grits , you'd best believe they'd know how long to cook them. So pull up your lime green Buick skylark and open the door (with the proper amount of torque) and give this place a try. Tell them Jerry Gallo sent you. (I mean Callo. Jerry Gallo is dead after all)

I randomly picked this restaurant when I was walking by the area. I guess the outside decor caught my eye. The food quality is definitely worth the price. My guess is that they make everything from scratch. Ambiance was great. Everyone was having a good time here. My Cousin Vinny's is a great option for dinners if you're in the area.

Had a great meal at My Cousin Vinny's large NY steak with some amazing mushrooms some broccoli and mashed potatoes, the music was great and the service was perfect!

We found the food to be delicious and came back a second time as it was that good. I had the penne arabiata the first night and pizza the next. Both were solid dishes. Daiquiris were very tasty. The restaurant also has a good selection of draft beers.

Mediocre and overpriced. Even the kids meals were $15.00. Cute place, ok service. Close to all the hotels.

Had a craving while visiting the Canadian side of Niagara Falls, and this popped up on Yelp as one…read moreof the best options for that around. They certainly had plenty of options! Massive menu of burgers, spanning a range of style from thick to smash, flames to griddle, and even typed of meat or non-meat. Quite frankly, if you can't find a burger that calls to you here, you must be very difficult to please. It was a Sunday, and the general area was thumping, this place was about half full and the vibe was relaxed. They're not on the absolutely main drag of Clifton Hill, and honestly, I would hope that benefits them both in price of rent and who might find it easy to wander in. There is paid parking nearby, cheaper than most because to get down to the falls is a bit of a hike. The hike back will be pretty far uphill, but we made it no problem. I love that the sodas come in a giant measuring cup, not much need for a refill, but they do give them complimentary if you ask for one. We started with standard poutine as an appetizer, it was really tasty. Nice flavor on the gravy, and a large amount of cheese curds. Instead of getting more fries as a side, went for a caesar salad. Was surprised to see bacon on it, but I definitely didn't hate that. It was quite good. I got a double smash burger with a nice thick onion ring on it and their version of burger sauce, as well as a spice relish to kick things up a notch. First thing, my patties were smashed very nicely, and there was a clear crispy crust on them. Bravo, I was pretty impressed, and the flavor was robust. I loved the spicy relish, and the bun also complemented the meat well. It was a big burger, and I was thoroughly satisfied. The service, maybe could have been slightly more attentive, but really just took awhile to take our order. Once it was taken, we had no complaints. Very friendly, everything was accurate, and like I said... big drink cups means not a ton of need for refills. I would come back here again on a future visit to the falls.

This place has sweet locals in spades. But the food is just ok, and the beer selection is just mass-produced lagers. In all fairness, we didn't try the wings; we just had a bunch of appetizers. They were all fine, but they were most likely premade, frozen and then fried. The good news: the staff were great. Super friendly and helpful. Also, the bar itself was a cool, divey sports bar vibe. Totally ok if you're looking for a local watering hole. Not a great option for killer food.

There were more than a few day drinkers hanging around the bar and patio, but no one seemed inebriated. To be honest, though, I probably wouldn't bring my kids here on a Friday or Saturday night. It was obvious we weren't locals and even more obvious we were there to eat (not drink), but I did not feel at all uncomfortable or out of place. Our server (a blond barkeep) was super duper nice. She was friendly, pleasant, and chatty. She definitely enhanced our visit! And the food was totally awesome! It was our first time having poutine and I'm not sure it was standard (it had shredded cheese instead of cheese curds) but it was delicious! Like really really really good. The burger was juicy and thick. The fries were totally yummy. Kid #1 said the chicken parm sandwich was good, and I thoroughly enjoyed my Philly cheesesteak. The prices were totally reasonable, too! Definitely a bargain considering the decent price for excellent food! For sure we'd visit Cool Hand Luke's again!

(A particularly fond memory is sitting in the car with my brother after we had ordered through the car hop service at the former Granville House, listening to Dr. Bundolo's Pandemonium Medicine Show on CBC, and seeing the tray swaying up and down because we were laughing so hard the car was shaking.) That is, until I moved to Ontario, because White Spot is a B.C.-only kind of place. Since then, they have spun out Triple O's. You can find them in Alberta, Ontario, and even Hong Kong. Triple O's is a kind of mini-White Spot, but it's actually sort of the "best of" from the White Spot I remember: burgers, fish and chips, and shakes (minus the "Chicken Pick'ns", which, sadly, have also disappeared from White Spot's menu). White Spot still offers those dishes, plus a bunch of more upscale fare, and dining at White Spot is no longer affordable. Now, it's the kind of place you go for special occasions (unless money is no object). And, sadly, Triple O's is also at the top end of pricing for fast food joints. But still, for this homesick B.C. boy, chowing down on a Legendary burger took me back. It's still as good as I remember. But, to be fair to those who didn't grow up with White Spot, it may just come across as good, but overpriced.
