We arrived in Niagara Falls, Canada, pretty late in the evening and were pleasantly surprised to find this restaurant still open. Yelp listed an 11:00 p.m. closing time, but we were told they actually close at midnight, which worked out perfectly after a long day of traveling. The staff was incredibly warm and welcoming. Our waitress, Adriana, was kind, attentive, and efficient, making us feel right at home. The atmosphere was relaxing, and it was the perfect way to kick off our trip. The portions were much larger than expected--we easily could have shared an entrée, and I always appreciate knowing that ahead of time since I hate wasting food. I ordered the chicken Parmesan. It arrived at the perfect temperature, and the chicken was cooked well. While it wasn't quite as flavorful as the chicken Parmesan I'm used to, I noticed a similar flavor profile at several restaurants we visited in Canada, so it may simply be a regional style or preparation. Has some great cocktail drink choices, we didn't try any of them. Some of their cocktails can be made as a virgin option. We ordered two rounds of the Calamari and one of the Nona's meatballs. The calamari was just average, the meatballs were delicious. One person had the Caesar salad, smaller portion and it was good. Overall the food was just okay, nothing spectacular. Happy it wasn't loud despite many tables being full and a good band playing outside in front. BIG shout out to our super waitress, Emma. I randomly picked this restaurant when I was walking by the area. I guess the outside decor caught my eye. The food quality is definitely worth the price. Not good, but if you're going to get anything, get the pizza. Look- there are very few options in Niagara Falls. It's a tourist town full of mostly 1.5-3 star restaurants so you can't expect much. But thankfully, they were open until 11 when we arrived late into town. We ordered a pizza and pasta to share. The pasta was not good. It wasn't very flavorful but we were hungry and it served it's purpose. On the other hand, the pizza was actually pretty good. The crust had a nice crisp and we enjoyed the carmelized onions and crispy meats. We had two servers during our meal. The first was hilarious in that he couldn't remember a thing including what was in menu items but it was close to closing so he gets a pass. Our second was super friendly and sweet which was very appreciated! Some strangeness eating at Vinny's. We were a group of 10 people but they wouldn't all seat us together. Regardless they charged us a gratuity for being a group. Hmmm. A bit sketchy with that in my mind. Charging gratuity for a group is pretty common practice but would be nice to remind the diners before getting the bill. Anyway, the waitstaff were all fine. The food came pretty quickly. The bruschetta tasted good & the bread was nice & crispy. I tasted a bite of hubby's meatballs on his spaghetti. It was okay, not mind blowing though. I had the penne bolognese. The gluten free pasta doesn't taste that great. I know some people will say gluten free pasta doesn't taste good anyway. But I have tried some that taste good. The sauce is just average. The food is lacking in flavour in my opinion. The place got busy the longer we stayed there. It looks like a nice restaurant. Super yummy! Traveling here from the US and it's difficult to find somewhere that's not 100% tourist while also not having to pay for parking. We got sat quick and there was a good drink menu (drafts, cocktails, wine, etc.). The pasta was very good and there's a good range of food items to choose from. They have vegan and vegetarian options as well (not much but a few). The atmosphere was nice, there was an outdoor band that was playing but it was too hot to sit outside.
