The only place for miles around that's open after 10, even on a Saturday night! And even then, only half the menu is available after 9. The pizza was mediocre, and the beer selection limited (though they did have a couple local crafts on draft), but the live music was fun. Seemed to be the most happening place for miles around. I was looking forward to an Irish place while staying up in NH for a family vacation. There were some Irish entrees, like shepard's pie, but they were missing bangers and mash, one of my faves. I ended up ordering the Shepard's Pie, and it was ok, but a little uninspired. Beef, corn, and mashed potatoes smashed down with a fork. Nachos appetizer and artichoke appetizer were both very big servings, and nice and hot. Pub looked like it could be fun, but we were with kids, so it was not an option. Dropped in to the best pizza maker spot in the valley. As usual they didn't disappiont. Pepper roni, meat ball, just plain cheese were consumed by the group. Also a fantastic Sheppard pie. Basic chicken fingers came with a great jalapeño dipping sauce. Our deserts were tasty too. My group also washed it down with a couple of pitchers of harp beer. All this for just over 90 bucks. Pizza, Guinness and Live Music. This place has a friendly mix of vacationers and welcoming locals. I believe they have live music several nights a week (was there on a Sunday night with a great band until 1030pm of so). The pizza comes in a personal size and I was shocked at how good it was. An outstanding, thin crust, personal pizza( actually a bit bigger) that comes from a family recipe with Boston roots. This is a great option near Story Land. It may be less well known than some of the other places around but is a solid venue especially for kids. The pizzas are awesome too, lots of open space, good menu - allergy friendly. Their pizza dough doesnt have eggs which can be an issue for someone with allergies like my daughter. Great place!! Live entertainment (Irish singers) on the weekend. Pizza is fabulous!!! Best in the Valley. They open at 4PM and just started taking credit cards (yeay!!). In the summertime they open the outside deck so there is more space. During ski season get there early before the crowds! This is family run - staff is great! Pizza is awesome. Just enough for two to share or if you're really hungry tackle one by yourself. My daughter is not a big pizza lover and she loved it. The atmosphere was very inviting and the staff and owners were very friendly and welcoming. We drove from Beaverhollow Campground which is an hour away and they made the trip worth our while!!! There were two guys performing and they sounded fantastic. They were Dennis and Davey. Very talented. We even got to hear the Owens nephew perform. His name is Liam. Great food and atmosphere. Music at night over the course of the year as sometimes the face painter is there for the kids. They also have a gluten free pizza crust which actually good (most don't taste that good elsewhere). Also serve Red bridge beer. Highly recommend the place. read more

The food wasn't bad, but the service was. It took quite a while before a waitress came over and took our drink order. I ordered a glass of wine and a water; she didn't bring the water over initially, so I asked again very politely. It never came and my husband's water glass sat waiting to be refilled the whole time. She slammed our food down and rushed away from our table without asking if we needed anything. She never checked in on us. I understand they were busy, but the service was really unacceptable. I felt like we were inconveniencing her by being there. Our experience wasn't great, I wouldn't recommend this place. read more

Great place to visit if you are in the Jackson area... Irish Pub....Pizza is ok, and after more than a few visits, I'd say stick with the Pizza if you are ordering food...not much else has been "great". This place was recommended to us by reception at our hotel. I am not a meat-eater, so I was not excited about their very meat-heavy menu. However, we went anyways, and got a couple of pizzas. The place is dark and cozy, more of a winter bar than a summer hangout, but that's ok. The pizzas far exceeded our expectations! I was pleasantly surprised - they are a little big for one person (unless you're super hungry), but that's ok - we took some home. The staff went above and beyond to entertain our son - they provided him with crayons and stickers, and noticing his love for olives, they brought him a whole cup of olives for him to devour. This pub came highly recomended from a friend of ours. I was so disappointed in the food and especially the service. Our bartender didn't even acknowledge our exsistance and acted like we had the plague. Did not ask us once if the food was good or could she get us anything else. We had to ask a server if we could order food and also ask someone else if we can have a to go box. The bartender was just so rude she needs to look for a new line of work. It was horrible. Went on a Thursday night (8/3/17) around 6:45 PM with six other adults. 15 minutes before anyone came to our table. 15 minutes later drinks were delivered. Apps came out 10 minutes after that. At the one hour mark entrees came out. Five out of seven of us sent food back because it was cold. Vegetables were frozen and tasteless and this was their seasonal vegetable. The only person who had more than half of their dinner was the person who ordered pizza. The rest of us ordered meatloaf, fish, Delmonico steak (both people had never had so much grisly meat) As the waitress cleared the table I asked her to show the chef what we were throwing out because it was awful. She said she would. Hummmmmm Sent back cold food. Said food tasted awful. .??? Hummmmmm Send manager to table? Nope. Brought the bill and walked away. Went and found the manager and explained poor service, cold food, tasted awful. Response. What do you want. I'm busy running the bar. This is August and Storyland busy time. The restaurant was probably 2/3 capacity. I repeated again what was wrong. And again what do you want? Really Short version. Service was very poor. Food was cold and tasteless. read more
