Shout! Is a great spot for an entertaining evening. The talented singers/musicians are the reason to go, they are engaging and talented. The crowd was having a great time! There service was decent, good, but not great. Our server took a break around 9 or so, which seemed odd, considering they didn't open until 7:00. The drink options were decent, and prices were about what I expected for this type of venue. Draft beers and seltzers were approximately $9, cocktails $16. Communication was lacking though, as friends had a reservation, but when we called earlier in the day, we were told no reservations were needed, plenty of availability. When we arrived to a less than friendly door security (ID and bag check) and manager, we were informed there wasn't as much availability without a reservation. They do take them, but not supposedly the day of, even though we explained we were joining another group. The entertainment deserves 5 stars, but the venue much less. Ideally I would give 3.5 stars. Worth a visit for a fun night, but ai recommend you call the day before or be a bit disappointed.

Nice music and entertaining performance. Audience can get engaged too, if interested. Food quality is above average and prices are reasonable. Cocktails and drinks are good.

Shout! House is so much fun. The performers are amazing with so many instruments played besides piano. Seems like a great place to celebrate your birthday or bachelorette especially if you want to get into stage to participate. The drinks are about the prices you'd expect from a downtown bar but are pretty good. The food choices are decent. The latest time to get a reservation is 6:30 and it can get crowded pretty fast so if you want to guarantee a seat then you need to pre-pay. Overall highly recommend visiting for a night of laughs and singing.

$10 cover fee A variety of drinks to select. Plenty of seating and standing room Staff is super friendly and their service is really fast. The prices are really good. The customer ranges from a variety of different age however, it's always drama free. It has a very relaxed feeling so flip-flops and jeans are OK. The performance by the musicians and singers are super fun and I spent a great time. On a weekday.

Had an absolute blast here last night!!! The band was incredible; they were all so talented!!!! Didn't have any food here but the drinks were great. Lots of singing, some dancing, and tons of fun.

Servers kind of rude, they take forever to get to the table, the music is cool but make sure you go on a Saturday or something because if you go any day you're open apparently they close earlier than it says on maps, and they stop playing music an hour and a half before closing.

First time here! Great Vibe! From Security, to hostess at check in! The bartenders were friendly and attentive. And waitress too! Came to celebrate my friends Birthday and it did not disappoint. The singers are very talented and kept the crowd going all night. They get a lot of requests and try their hardest to get them sung. I thought they did a great job! All my requests were played and they even brought my Friend up to celebrate her Birthday. We had drinks only and it was a party of 7 and they accommodated us. Make reservations because Saturdays are busy. And it was a sold out night. We got on waitlist and sat down after an hour. So worth the wait. Service was top notch! And singers were amazing! If you like dueling pianos this is the place. All ages for adults! Will come again

The performers at Shout! House know how to create a fun atmosphere filled with good music. The line can get long so be sure to show up early to claim a table or seat by the bar. The drink menu has an entire page of non-alcoholic mocktails and the food is decent.

Visited here for the first time when at a weekend business meeting in SD. Great little joint! (not little at all) We had a great time and even a few of us went up on stage and danced. The piano players are great at getting the crowd going, and singing. They have food, a full bar and plenty of room for seating, but be warned, there's standing room only by 8-9pm. If you know that you will be visiting, I would strongly suggest getting reservations, especially if you have more than 2 people. You are guaranteed to have a fun time here for sure. The only reason that I put 4 stars is that it was so hard to get drinks and service when needed due to the huge amount of patrons.

Seated behind a pole. The person on my right could barely see the stage.

I was so excited to dine here since I had heard such great things about this place! I ended up leaving a little disappointed and not sure if I would return the next time I'm in San Diego. I dined at Shout House with a bachelorette party of 10 and had made a reservation well in advance. They separated our party into 3 smaller tables which was okay, not ideal, but I understandable. One of the tables we were seated at was literally right behind a pole. Like one person could not see the stage with the table in the location. I asked the staff if it were possible to move the table in front of the pole because of this. After all, this is a dinner and a show. They told me no and said nothing could be done about it. That was just a damper on the night. I doubt we are the first to complain about this table. I don't understand why we could place the table on front of the pole or get another table all together. They should not have that table there for anyone. I will admit the drinks were great! I had one of the mocktails made into a cocktail and that was delicious. I also tried their version of an espresso martini and loved it! I usually hate martinis. The food was not good. I ordered the vegetarian burger and was so disappointed. It was so dry it kept falling apart as I ate it. It was awful. We order some mozzarella sticks and those were fine, but nothing incredible.

SO MUCH FUN! The piano players really had the crowd going and participating in everything! Lots of people get called on stage and it's just hilarious! It's a huge amazing show, the piano players are soooo talented and have amazing voices! I think the price of the ticket and your choice of seating was completely reasonable with how much fun everyone had. Even service was fantastic! It was packed inside, tables touching tables but we were still checked up on very frequently and were able to get refills quite fast! Excellent service! Food was typical bar food but it was still really great! The only downside we had was if you want the piano players to play a song you request, they will most likely do it if you put money down. Our entire group put requests in with money every time, one of my friends even bought both of the piano players drinks and they still didn't play our songs. Other than that it was still such a fun time and definitely worth it!

Fantastic place if you enjoy music. We went on a Saturday night and it was packed (almost too packed). The dueling pianos was great fun and the artists were multi-skilled and provided a great combination of comedian, music, improvisation, ... It was a lot of fun. The place is mostly a bar, but they also have a modest menu with brugers and salad. Dont go there for the food but for the entertainment. Make sure you make a reservation for a reasonable table.

My husband and I just finished our dinner at Teleferic Barcelona when I suggested we give Raised by Wolves another try - as we had about an hour before picking up the kids. For a Saturday, I was pleasantly surprised that as walk-ups we only had to wait a few minutes before we were seated at the bar inside. While we waited, we enjoyed perusing their bottle selections for purchase and I'm happy to say that playing music slightly louder in the waiting/market area helped dull the sounds from the inside bar. It helps create more of a 'moment' when you sit at the fireplace and slowly turn inside. This time we were seated right at the bar, which was perfect for us. Chuck was our bartender and 10/10 on the cocktails he made. This time, I went with their Tiki Room and my husband an off-menu Boulevardier (which I have to say I'm impressed he knew what that was because even I didn't, lol). Both drinks were perfectly crafted and enjoyed by both of us. We only had a moment for just one drink this time, but I have to say our experience was so much better than our first (perhaps a fluke of an evening). The staff were all welcoming and knowledgable, other guests were dressed well, and the ambiance lent itself to the vibe we were looking for. After doing some homework, I made the connection that Raised By Wolves was part of the hospitality group that also owns Lafayette Hotel, The Baby Grand, Ironside, etc...all locations my husband and I absolutely adore. Happy to support such amazing places around San Diego and I look forward to more!

Finally made it to this cute speakeasy in San Diego! We stopped by on a Sunday around 5 PM and had…read moreno trouble walking right in. There were plenty of seats available, and service was quick and smooth. Cocktails were around $15-18 each. I ordered the Perpetual Motion and absolutely loved it, the sweet strawberry flavor paired perfectly with the creamy Calpico. It's the kind of drink I'd order again and again. I also tried the Piña Colada, which was equally delicious. Even though the cocktails are beautifully handcrafted and easy to sip, you can still taste the liquor, which I always appreciate. This is such a great spot for a first date, a girls' night out, or simply catching up with friends. One of my favorite parts was exploring the vinyl room, it adds such a fun retro touch. The entire space has a nostalgic, vintage vibe that makes you feel like you've stepped into another era. It's the perfect place to relax, enjoy some creative cocktails, and soak in the atmosphere.

This is a nice establishment, especially for lounging with a date. But you have to be patient as they are often quite busy. The record store and records theme is what they present online but to be honest that is only a minute section of the establishment. It definitely doesn't describe the theme of the place neither. The worker in the record section simply ignored me when I tried to purchase a record and after a minute I had to ask for him to please ring me up. No apology from him. No biggie, I still had a decent time drinking here.

Our group was surprised as is was 2115, it's been open for about an hour and a half and packed. As you enter this old law office down a staircase one would find the "speakeasy statutes/rules" to maintain the 1920s atmosphere-- we loved the setting, the people, the drinks, and of course the live music!! One would not be disappointed. The cocktail menu was on an old record, which I thought it was so clever. Back to the rules, seems pretty easy! They mention to keep an open mind with the drinks as they do not carry vodkas, redbull, Budweiser or bulls**t. Mentioned a dresscode, more so be classic and states be respectful and don't be a di*k. I couldn't agree more with the rules. I don't think there is good at this establishment, as our group just came from dinner I wasn't looking for food. Just spirits, live music and a good time. Highly recommend if you are looking for live music and uniquely crafted cocktails.

Multiple bystanders witnessed his behavior but failed to intervene, assuming it was just "relationship drama" After the man finally left, the venue's security completely misread the situation. Instead of checking on my well-being or ensuring the aggressor had left the premises, security targeted and chased me as if I were the problem. It is incredibly disappointing and dangerous for a business's security team to lack the basic situational awareness and training required to identify the actual victim in a situation. I felt entirely unprotected by the staff here. I hope management takes this as a serious sign that their security team needs immediate retraining on bystander intervention and de-escalation, rather than harassing women who are already in vulnerable situations.

Kiku Room has a chic minimalist interior, with polish concrete, metal, and glass as the primary backdrop. The DJ booth is large and separates the front sitting area from a lounge in the back that is draped in deep red lighting. The bartenders are cool and welcoming, the DJs who come through are usually really good, and the lounge is quite comfortable as well. Pretty good price on drinks overall, too. You can get a glass of draft Asahi here for $7, for instance, which is pretty good for a place that's in this DTSD-adjacent area.

The cocktails are just as dialed. Balanced, clean, strong (in a good way), and not trying too hard. They have some great NA options as well. The NA Asahi beer is amazing. You can tell there's real intention behind the bar, which makes the whole experience feel cohesive. Yes, there's usually a line -- but that's what happens when something is this good. I've heard they're working on expanding, which would be amazing because the space deserves to hold more people without losing that energy. Five stars. For the music. For the drinks. For the vibe. I'll happily wait in line for this one.
