Nice clean restaurant, customer service was great. Seat yourself, sur charge for credit card charges. Rest rooms need to be renovated. Sunday Special Chili was great. But I did get a stomach ache 30 minutes after I ate it. Patty Melt and Omelette were yummy. Our Server was nice and knowledgeable.

Food was delicious, service was great and the prices were good. They have a big menu with tons of breakfast and lunch options. The country fried steak and the country Bennie were so good! The kids menu came with big portions ( the kids pancake filled the entire plate.) Definitely will be coming back when we are in the area again.

Super yummy food. Friendly service. Worth the drive from our resort in Overgaard. Stop by if you're in the area.

We've been to the Skillet Cafe a few times which is located at Snowflake Municipal Golf Course. We stop in after playing golf which works up an appetite. You get to chose your table when you walk in and someone brings you menus and take drink orders The menu has a decent variety of choices plus there are specials of the day. We have tried the fish basket (fried fish and fries) as well as an open face roast beef sandwich (special of the day on Thursday). The fish is good but the roast beef sandwich is outstanding. The beef is shredded and so tasty!! It comes with mashed potatoes, gravy and fresh steamed green beans (yum!). We will definitely come back to the Skillet Cafe-in fact look forward to it almost as much as the golf!

Had a breakfast skillet there and a short stack of pancakes. Their food was very tasty had real vegetables in the skillet breakfast. They had a good cook that cooked my eggs right they had very good service. The gal came and brought fresh coffee during the time we were eating their gravy and biscuits were good. My husband had them, I would go back. The people were nice there.

Small town- small quality. The food is ok if you are hungry and just need a bite but there are certainly better choices.

This place was great! So great, we went twice in one day…read more We came right at openings for breakfast and the clean, bright space and fun menu made us optimistic. I had the Holla Tots -- tater tots with ham, bacon, egg, and hollandaise. Delicious! I also ordered a Mangonada Mimosa which was so fun. We ended up coming back for lunch where I shared the turkey club and a BLT. It was packed at lunch but somehow still easy to find a spot to sit. This place has food and drink options to suit a lot of tastes, great staff, and plenty of seating in a cute space. The attention to detail is clear from the fun food and drink names to the decor (especially the bathroom) and the 3 or 4 kinds of ketchup. I wish they had one near me!

"Persnikkity's Food Offers a Lot: Hits the Hungry Spot"…read more Walking into Persnikkity in Show Low (which I have done many times from their old location to their new one), you immediately feel like you've stumbled onto something the town's been keeping to itself. The place has that lived-in charm where locals know each other's orders, and the staff treats you like you're part of the club from minute one. I've made the Asian chicken wrap and twisted beef Philly my reliable go-tos--they nail that balance of fresh and hearty that keeps pulling me back. The morning totchos are a brilliant mess of everything breakfast should be, the chicken and waffle hits that sweet-savory note without trying too hard, and even their bagel with salmon comes out like they actually care about it. The vanilla matcha bubble tea deserves its own mention because it tastes like someone put thought into it rather than just dumping powder into a cup. Service here makes the food taste even better--attentive without hovering, friendly without being fake. The vibe is casual enough that you can show up in whatever you're wearing, but the food quality makes it clear they're taking things seriously where it counts. It's the kind of spot where you find yourself coming back not just for one signature dish, but because the whole experience just works.

Know that my wife and I are full time residents of Heber/Overgaard and have been for several years…read more We take our meals out on a fairly regular basis so sometimes there is a tendency to take our local eateries for granted, that being said we were pleasantly surprised when treating ourselves to a Father's Day brunch at our local Ponderosa Cafe to not only noticing that they were quite busy but they were featuring a special Holiday Menu. The first thing that caught my eye was a novel Steak and Egg dish that included a six oz. Sirloin steak with "loaded hash brown potatoes," that's hash browns with a load of onions, bell peppers, and cheese. This was a delicious side complete with two eggs my style and choice of toast. There was even more but I passed on the bacon, it was just too much. My wife opted for the all veggie omelet (which of course she couldn't finish) with all it fixings which we took home. One of the highlights of our service was the young waiter, Owen, who had been added to the staff recently. He was anxiously trying to be so helpful it was a joy to be one his first "customers." He of course getting help from is fellow staffers especially Debbie our favorite. In addition I would be remiss if I didn't mention the fullly appointed bakery available to us as we checked out. There is was with home baked brownies, pies, and coffee cake to tempt us as we left. I could go on and on but you get the picture. Treat yourself to the Ponderosa Cafe when in our town, you won't regret it!

For the price we really expect better food quality and execution. I tried a Santa Fe breakfast burrito. It was large but mostly filled with potatoes. It was very hard to find any pulled pork inside. For the price I would expect more protein and some melted cheese on top or maybe a sauce...The cactus juice side is a good idea but it has too much lime juice in it. We like the idea of Gail's Sunrise Specials which were half portions. My wife ordered the Pork Green Chili over eggs and potato. The pork green chili was more like flavored gravy. It is pasty and gelatenous. There is very little meat and green chili. The people are friendly and the space is clean but the food is just not good enough to bring us in very often.

Creative Comfort Food and Outstanding Service in Snowflake…read more We stumbled upon Streets on Main during a quick Yelp search one evening--and we're so glad we did. From the moment we walked in, it was clear the staff genuinely enjoyed working there and cared about our experience. The atmosphere was welcoming and upbeat. The menu offers a wide variety of creative dishes. My wife ordered the Fried Pickle Burger, which came with a unique tomatillo ranch sauce--it was both inventive and delicious. I had the Nashville Hot BBQ Chicken Sandwich special, and it lived up to the name: full of flavor with just the right kick. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Since it was Mother's Day weekend, they were offering a complimentary dessert with a meal for all mothers. My wife chose the peach cobbler, and it was not only generously portioned but also absolutely delicious. A sign inside proudly proclaims they've been voted Best of the White Mountains for the past four years. Based on our visit, I have no doubt that streak will continue. The only (minor) disappointment was that they don't yet serve beer or wine, though the staff mentioned they're looking into adding it in the future. Highly recommended for anyone passing through Snowflake or local to the area--you won't be disappointed.
