this is definitely one of a kind restaurant for the Simpsonville area. the ambience was a cool two-story indoor rooftop patio. Upstairs is completely completely open with a bar and TVs. We got the garlic knots to start, which were huge. I got a margarita which was OK a little bit water down and way too salty. the pizza sizes were big and good enough to take home for the next day, but a little too pricey to make this a weekly spot. I did enjoy the flavor variety. we got a cheese pizza and a buffalo chicken pizza. The food was great but can't justify the price. The service was friendly and welcoming It felt very family owned. The pizza at this restaurant is the best I've tasted thus far while moving to South Carolina. Also, their chicken tenders appear to be freshly made and are absolutely delicious. The service is great though they do get busy on the rooftop sometimes. I absolutely love the ambience of the rooftop, especially when it's sunny and a football games is on. I would recommend this place to anyone! We order takeout all the time. read more

The food is great. The layout is chaotic, I feel like I'm in three different restaurants. Of course everyone is friendly their service industry on Main Street. The prices are too expensive for what this place is. My mom's still laughing at the 15$ plate of spaghetti. read more

Go only in good weather or if there's no risk of something not going smoothly... We were sat upstairs. Was a bit concerned as there was rain in the area. Asked if there were any options if it opened up. Management had no idea what to do, but crossed our fingers. It rained. After a few confused minutes they just put our pizza in a box and sent us on our way. Food was OK. But not worth driving past Myles, a Sidewall or Mellow Mushroom. To be fair, no expectation on managing the weather itself but not having a plan if there is an issue isn't acceptable when a dinner for 2 can be $80. As a general practice, restaurants should practice the Golden Rule, but they were happy to just send us on and have one less table about which to worry. Wanted to enjoy pizza with the beers on site but had to settle for cold pizza at home (which was nice and cold when we got home). Cold pizza is good, but not when spending premium $ and expecting to eat on site. Disappointing in how the management handled what could have been an easy situation w/ minimal effort; just to show they noticed 'yeah, this sucks.' Could have been as simple as 'Can we comp your beers? Maybe a coupon for a future visit to try us again?' Anything other than 'we can't help the weather (GFY...)'. Or just treating people how they would have wanted to be treated themselves. Lots of good choices for pizza in Greenville area. If you go, just hope they don't have to make customer service decisions. read more

Oh my--sooo good! I was surprised how busy it was on a Tuesday but it was worth the wait. We ordered, salad, garlic knots, pizza, and the gnocchi. The pizza was amazing and cooked New York style. It had just the perfect amount of crunch, and all the foldability (just invented that word). We will be back. The service was also excellent :) read more

I'm honestly really shocked to be leaving this review after all the people and good reviews on here. I'll be honest I'd give the pizza a 2.5 or 3 out if 5 at best. The pizza is super greasy & the crust is so hard and chewy it legit hurts my jaw to eat it. I'm a huge lover of pizza crust so this was a bummer for me. Restaurant didn't really have a waiting area for people wanting to be seated so as soon as you walked in you were greeted with a mess of people breathing down each others necks. Most people didn't even know where to go to pick up their order or get a place to sit because there were so many people. It's worth a shot, but I probably won't be back, at least not anytime soon! read more

This pizza has been consistently good, but we only do take out since we live 30 minutes away. Definitely the closest to NY style pizza, unfortunately with the NYC style pricing. Yes, I took a star off simply because it's expensive. Garlic knots are amazing too! read more

If I could marry a meatball, I'd propose at The Slice. These little flavor bombs are chef's kiss perfection. And the pizza? Fuggedaboutit. It's like a love letter from New York--crispy crust, gooey cheese, and that foldable slice magic. I took one bite and heard a distant taxi horn and a guy yelling "I'm walkin' here!" Atmosphere? Cozy, friendly, and full of good vibes. Whether you're a pizza snob or just hungry, this place delivers (pun intended). For those of you that don't know or haven't read my first review of this place I ranted and raved about it before! During there renovation I spoke to a couple builders who came into my work and I had met some of the openers or family members there! Allllll wonderful people! I did find another pizza place while they were closed which really broke my heart to but I had NO OTHER OPTION. I even had it the other day! I wasn't scared lol it just took me a little while to go on! As soon as I walked in I was blown AWAY! Everything was beautiful! The vibe! The tvs! Everything looked 1000 times better! I even told my wife I would come here for Sunday football! The food was 20'x better! The menu was better! The options were better and the waitress I had unfortunately I didn't get her name she was out bartender she was hilarious and we got along great! She said she loved haha! Great banter THE PRESENTATION! The new bowls that came Out with the knots! Chefs kiss! Either way kudos to you guys! I see over 50-100 customers a day I tell each one about your establishment! Ordered delivery from here this week. The pizza was definitely fantastic. Fantastic is an understatement. Best pizza I've had here for sure. The wings were okay. The arancini balls and artichoke were really good also. This proud yankee has found the go to pizza in five forks. The other pizza shops in the area don't compare. read more

SUPER YUMMY PIZZA!!! Called in for a large pie, and the box was so big it almost didn't fit on our coffee table. I honestly ate pizza for lunch, dinner, and breakfast the next morning because the slices were so big. Side of ranch is $1.50 but they give you a decent bit. Maybe it's because I've been eating frozen pizza for a few months, but this was the best pizza I've had in a long time. read more

Great pizza but unreliable delivery, poor customer service, and rude management. Ordered our family dinner from Slice yesterday. Went to Slice's website, selected delivery, and placed our order. I received an email confirmation from Slice with an estimated delivery time and a link to check status. When you click on the link you arrive at doordash's website offering up-to-date delivery status, supposedly. 1.5 hours later our order was still not there, no changes to the delivery status, still claiming order should have been delivered 20 minutes ago. No number to call, no driver to reach out to. So, I call Slice and I'm told the order has never been picked up and that there was nothing they could do about it because they contracted with doordash and had no in-house drivers. So, after paying Slice $20 for delivery (incl. tip) we stop decorating our Christmas tree and I jump in the car to pick up our delayed dinner. Arriving at Slice I run into the assistant store manager. Don't recall the name, short guy, maybe 5'-6", young, in his 20's. He says it's not their responsibility to fulfil deliveries, that it would be doordash's and basically my problem, even though I placed my order with Slice, and not with doordash. Zero accountability. After a brief exchange the rude young man - apparently emboldened by the handful of female staffers surrounding him - physically points at the door saying "Hey man, just take the food and leave!" I'm 50 years old, have never been treated this way - and this in the South, what a shame. How about sending one of the staffers - there was at least a dozen workers hanging around when I entered the restaurant - to deliver the food to our house, a delivery we paid for? Instead, after years of loyal customership and thousands of dollars spent, no more deliveries from the Slice for our family. Just can't risk it being forced to put our family's life on hold to find myself picking up an order Slice can't fulfill. Even though promised over the phone, I have not received any refunds from Slice, not even for the delivery that never happened. read more

Good pizza made with spite by an absolute psychopath. I have been to this place twice, and honestly I have enjoyed the pizza. It is authentic New York style tasty pizza. No complaint about the food at all. But you know what else is authentic New York...this place is run by a maniac. The first time I was in there I thought the owner must be having a bad day. Surely nobody could be that angry all the time, and treat other human beings (customers or employees) that horribly and still be in business...but I was wrong. I came back a second time and witnessed him being red-faced vein popping angry, and four letter word strewn to HIS WIFE! Good pizza or not, why would I or anyone support that with patronage? read more

Not sure why anyone would give the Slice of Brooklyn Pizzeria a bad review. I am originally from NJ/NY and pizza is our staple. Their pizza is by far the best pizza I have had since living in SC for going on 4 years. They are nice people. NY/NJ we have a hard shell, but wear our hearts on our sleeves. They just moved to SC from Brooklyn less than 3 months ago so please give them time to adjust to an entirely different culture. Their Canoli's are delicious as well! read more

My original review was for the former place, "Slice of Brooklyn". Now that the new owners are in place, we frequent The Slice just about every week. I can't wait until they open after the renovations! Their pizza and staff are outstanding! It's very refreshing to go there and not have to listen to the former owner ream out his staff in front of customers! read more

By far the best pizza place around. If your looking for authentic NY pizza and pasta its here. I was born in Brooklyn and grew up in Staten Island where on every corner you couldn't go wrong with any pizza place. Glad this place is around as it is hard to find pizza around like NY. read more

My wife loves it. I prefer Bellacinos, so obviously we go here. Garlic knots are legit. Ask to go light on the cheese unless you really love some cheese. I'm more of a sauce guy. read more
