My friends and I wanted to grab some drinks while visiting Redondo Beach Pier. Tony's has a bar on the upper level second floor. We wanted to sit on the lower level right next to the open windows, but was told couldn't sit there unless you order food. It wasn't busy thought maybe server let it slide. Nope! We ended going upstairs instead. Really quiet with good views of the pier and ocean. I ordered a mai tai while my friends were sipping on martinis. Bartender took care of us with his generous heavy hands. Drinks were strong, but we weren't complaining. We really enjoyed our cocktails! It was nice to sit down spending some quality time together. Before we left, the bartender kindly gave me a souvenir glassware at no additional cost. Truly a highlight of my visit.

A quiet Tuesday at Tony's. Service was fast and approachable, as usual. We ordered the onion rings, and just like the waitress promised, they were really good. I'd definitely order them again. I'm realizing I've probably been undervaluing their small bites and should branch out more often to try additional items.

I love coming to Tony's. Last time we were here we specifically came on a storm surge day in December to watch the waves crash against the pilings of the pier and enjoy some sunset Mai Tais in the signature Tony's glasses. We had dinner that night and it was really delicious. This visit was just after lunch. We were looking for a drink and a nibble and Tony's staff was happy to oblige. Upon ordering MaiTais, we were informed that the signature, comp take home glasses were currently out of stock. Not a problem, we already have a collection. Hubs chose cheesy garlic bread and I was excited to try the calamari. MAN! Lightest and best calamari I have EVER had! And Hubs' bread was also YUM! Service is always great! Attentive, but respectful, understanding this special spot that begs guests to slow down and cast a memory or two back. 70s Yatch Rock plays perfectly in the background and the soul exhales. Time passes too quickly at Tony's but, on the upside, we get to return that much sooner. Cheers! "CC"

This place used to be great. Fire chiefs used to be 8.50-9.25 but now they charge $17.25 for each. That is highway robbery

I've been to thousands of beachside restaurants around the world -- but this one stands out like no other! They serve 101% fresh seafood -- you can literally taste the ocean in every bite. Their Alaskan King Crab made me feel like I was teleported straight to Alaska -- the freshness is simply unmatched! I'd honestly pay double for this kind of quality because it's that rare. The Seafood Pasta Alfredo tasted like heaven -- not even a 5-star seafood restaurant could compete. The Calamares? So fresh it's unbelievable! And the warm, freshly baked bread with butter straight from the oven was the perfect start. Just when I thought it couldn't get any better, their Mai Tai sealed the deal -- absolute perfection in a glass. Every single detail was flawless. The restaurant's unique ocean-themed vibe makes you feel the sea's energy without even seeing the water.

So if you think you're going to casually stroll in around lunchtime and grab a table... good luck lol. Now for the important part -- the seafood! The crab was SO fresh and absolutely delicious. The oysters were a little pricey, not gonna lie, but they were definitely worth it. Everything tasted super fresh and you really can't beat sitting by the water eating fresh seafood. The bad: the food/order pick-up system for items that need to be grilled/fried is chaotic. You're given a number to pick up your order by the cashier and directed to the pick up window. There is someone assigned to the grill area and a different person handles the side dishes. There does not appear to be any system of communication between the two areas such that the protein is held under the heat lamp area until the other person adds the side dish (fries, coleslaw, etc) to complete the order. To make things even more chaotic, the staff does not consistently call out numbers when to food is ready for pickup. Instead, the customers crowd the pick up area calling out their own order numbers to see if it's ready. The staff is nice and they seem to try their best overall, but their current system needs to be improved.

The place has a fun, energetic vibe without feeling over the top. Service was outstanding from start to finish. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely engaging. You can tell they enjoy what they're doing. We shared several dishes, and everything was excellent. The Spicy Whipped Feta with rosemary smoked salt focaccia is an absolute must order. The focaccia alone is worth coming back for. The Crispy Brussels Sprouts with date purée, brown butter, fennel vinaigrette, and parmesan were outstanding, and even the Atta Girl Fries with dill vinegar and mustard aioli disappeared quickly. We also ordered the shrimp, scallop, and beef skewers, all served over a bed of quinoa tabbouleh. Every skewer was perfectly cooked, flavorful, and complemented beautifully by the fresh, herbaceous tabbouleh. Great cocktails, delicious food, and a staff that made the evening even more enjoyable. We had a fantastic night and will definitely be back. Atta Girl has earned a spot on our South Bay favorites list. 5 stars.

The food - incredible, with the exception of the octopus. Great flavor, but too salty. We ordered the beef, mushroom, scallops and shrimp! And the accompanying sauces !!!! Side note - before we received our check, we made reservations to go back in two weeks because of these skewers. That's how good they were. A ten out of ten experience. 3rd course- the main - short rib. The best way to describe it? Delectable. So tender. So flavorful, on a bed of the most perfectly cooked potatoes.

We started with the ceviche in Clamato with pieces of crab and avocado served with a delicious tortilla chips. I absolutely loved the flavor profile and couldn't get enough of the Clamato sauce. Then we moved to the weekend only special sea urchin, which Stephanie's parents personally bring down from Santa Barbara for weekend service. I'm usually indifferent at best to sea urchin, but this was excellent Then we shared the Jonah Crab Fusilli, another winner. I was driving, but hubby ordered a banhattan and it was another winner. They also have some beer and wine options as well as a full bar. Though very full by this point, just couldn't resist the pretzel bread pudding. The bread portion was crispy on the outside and warm and soft on the inside with a delicious salty caramel sauce. Served with a very smooth and delectable scoop of ice cream. There's indoor and outdoor seating. If you want to sit inside best to make a reservation. We did not have reservations, but were lucky to get outside seating. Service was fluid with different people coming around to ensure everything was tidy. Really enjoyed one of the staff, a young girl who cleared our table and delivered some of the dishes.
