Great smoothies, bad attitude from staff. Actually rude. Are they too lazy to put their hours up on the outside?

Wraps and smoothie bowls are made all fresh to order and the owner is open to modifications which is so nice.

I sooooo appreciate that there are healthier and/or plant-based options popping up in cities and…read moretowns all across Maine. We knew we'd be hiking all day (and had a heavy dinner planned) so we stopped at Earth and Flow to pick up some lighter bites. This was around 10am on a Thursday, and we were the only customers. It took about 45 minutes to get our food (no other customers ever came in; it didn't appear they were making any to-go orders). There were two employees that day, one who was making our order and one who was on her phone. We got: 1. Tara's Peanut Butter Heaven smoothie (banana, peanut butter, chocolate, almond milk) and the Tropical Storm smoothie (mango, pineapple, strawberry, orange juice, coconut milk, almond milk): I don't know how this is possible - maybe they were made in the same blender? - but these tasted identical. They were also liquidy. Personally, I prefer my smoothies so thick it's hard to suck through a straw. 2. the Thai wrap (almond-ginger pate, lettuce, mango, red pepper, cabbage, basil, mint, cilantro, ginger almond dipping sauce): this was okay - there was *a lot* of mint stems - but the ginger almond dipping sauce tasted purely of soy sauce - way, way too salty for me. 3. the Sun Tuna wrap (tuna salad made from sunflower seeds, not fish, combined with lemon, Bragg's amino acids, celery, pickles, and romaine lettuce): my favorite of the three! Such a unique take on a vegan tuna, but the celery was literally long uncut stalks. 4. the Sante Fe wrap (cashews, lemon, parsley, cayenne pepper, vegan mayonnaise, black beans and avocado): my partner's favorite of the three, but I found it bland, also there was no avocado and LOTS of romaine... which isn't an ingredient in this wrap. ^ I appreciated that all three wraps came on a bed of lettuce, because the wrap itself was *so* stiff and gummy in texture that we ended up dumping the interior onto the greens and eating it salad style. 5. Earthy Delights (4 Medjool dates stuffed with almond butter, cardamom, and ginger): the BEST thing we got were these stuffed dates. The combination of the rich almond butter, earthy cardamom, and spicy ginger were unlike anything I've had in recent memory. Do not miss out on these! For me, this missed the mark. But it's fantastic that an option like this exists in Rockland.

Conscious Cafe is a small, tucked away neighborhood cafe inside a yoga studio. Their manu is carefully curated to nourish and replenish you body and soul. I really can't say enough about our experience here. We stopped by for an early lunch. I ordered the sweet potato soup as well as a coffee beverage. I typically don't like flavored beverages made with anything but espresso. Theirs are made with coffee and are outstanding. Zero complaints on the coffee. Their food is made fresh to order so takes a little while as when I was there, it was a bit of a one man show. The soup came came with crispy shallots and a drizzle of balsamic reduction. It was ginger kissed and one of the best sweet potato soups I have ever had. It was served with a side of crusty sourdough with the lightest smidge of ghee. It paired perfectly with the soup. The dining area is warm and comfortable with the kitchen easily viewable. You order at the counter and then the chef will bring you your meal. It's not a quick meal, but I promise you it will be worth the wait. Get to it!

Well was worth the wait. Good clean food, lots of vegetarian and gluten free options. The owner/chef Jesse even made a dish especially for me with all my dietary restrictions. Very nice! Also, there's a beautiful outdoor seating area that we really enjoyed. Definitely coming back!

PB&J Smoothie: my go to flavor for smoothies. Pretty standard texturally and flavorwise. Be sure to mix in the peanut butter that's smeared on the side of the cup! Smoked Salmon Toast: I enjoyed the cashew cream cheese. You can taste a hint of cashew but the texture is definitely creamy. I loved the smokiness of the salmon with the brininess of the capers and pickled onions. The bread held together. Unfortunately, according to their Instagram, this is their final season! Hopefully they are focusing more on their sister/neighboring restaurants The Annex and Side Street Cafe or opening a new concept.

Which was a little weird. I had avocado salmon toast which was ok. I had a smaller portion and it was way too small so I had to order pumpkin spice chia pudding. The toast was pretty decent. Chia seed pudding was ok, not very good. Breakfast burrito that my husband got was ok. We also had a berry smoothie which was decent as well. It was weirdly empty, and it connects to another restaurant, so it's not very inviting or relaxing to be inside. It seems like more a to go place than a nice relaxing sit down breakfast place. Didn't really enjoy the whole experience. Also was very overpriced to receive food in a carton container.
