Dinner on a Thursday. They are still working the kinks out. Only a few people in the restaurant when we arrived for our reservation but we stood at an empty hostess stand for about five minutes before the hostess showed up. We quickly found out they were low on staff for the evening as some severs had called in that they couldn't make it. Brent doubled as our waiter and the bartender. The hostess helped as well. Brent was a really nice guy with a great personality and was doing his best. He is a good bartender! Pretty sports bar casual ambience vs white table cloth fine dining you often see for a steakhouse. We began with the pork belly pancake. Very good! Next a weed salad, which was way too much for one person. It was kind of a work of art. The only criticism was the bacon was undercooked, but there was probably more blue cheese and I've seen on any other wedge salad. Very fresh. For entrees we had the 6oz filet and the crab cakes. Each entree comes with a side choice. We had the creamed spinach and spicy green beans. The creamed spinach had small chunks of cream cheese. The steak was very good but cooked to medium vs medium rare. Still juicy. The crab cakes were good but the fried green tomato was unfortunately soggy. Prices are very reasonable. We went there last night. Worst experience ever! The air conditioning was out & had been for about a month. At first they said they would turn it down as it was very hot in there. They then admitted it was broken.The kitchen was extremely slow & they were out of everything. They forgot my brother in laws Brussels sprouts & brought them to him at the end of the meal. My crab cakes were awful. We complained about the whole experience & ended up getting a good discount. Is this place closing down? Very empty restaurant with half the entrees not available? I ordered the fried shrimp/fries. I asked for the garlic Parmesan fries instead of the regular fries. Instead I received the regular fries. I sent it back, the fries may have had a sprinkle of garlic Parmesan. I know what garlic Parmesan taste like and that wasn't it. Didn't really taste any. My fried shrimps were over fried and tough. My appetizer was great a little salty, the ranch killed the salt but was good. Great customer service, very nice server and manager. Nice atmosphere with the music in the background. read more

Everything is absolutely delicious! One of mine and my husband's favorite restaurants. Our favorites, the kimchi pancake with pork belly, calamari, shrimp and grits, we order at least one of those each time. The sirloin and the ribeye were so tender and full of flavor, we were able to cut both with butter knife's. The house bread and butter is airy and fluffy and so so yummy. Must try!! read more

This restaurant was a lovely surprise. Food was all delicious. The mac n' cheese was creamy and cheesy; brussels sprouts were hard to stop eating and had an ample amount of bacon; and the tiramisu was amazing. The Heat of the Range cocktail was a good mix of sweet and smoky and they have a long list of Texas-brewed beers on draft. For dinner, I tried The Social Pour and ordered the calamari appetizer with a spicy twist, which was enjoyable. The crabcake was the highlight of my meal, while the shrimp risotto was satisfactory. Came for an early dinner tonight and was so wonderfully impressed. I had never been to the previous establishment, but the inside gives modern sophistication. Funky (in a good way!) lights, comfortable velvet chairs, and a cozy couch area around an electric fireplace make me want to come back without my two year old. We ordered an Armored IPA and a Hot Toddy, and while there was slight concern about fulfilling the second drink, they came through and made exactly what I wanted (hot water, lemon, whiskey, honey). I really appreciated their concern about getting the drink correct and making sure I was happy with what I got. We ordered a medium sirloin with fries, a side of mac n cheese, Brussels sprouts with bacon, and a cheese flatbread. It was all delicious. My husband enjoy his sirloin, and I could wax poetic about the Brussels. They were shaved and delicious and boy they did not skimp on the bacon! My picky son ate half of the mac 'n cheese and I can confirm, it too was delicious. I'll admit, the flatbread left me a little wanting, but it's only because I don't care for copious amounts of wet on the center of my pizza. The Parmesan froth was absolutely divine, so I'm excited to reheat it in my toaster oven and crisp up the center a bit more. Our server Brian was wonderful. Attentive but not overly so. I believe we spoke with the GM a few times who was also very pleasant. Crème brulee was incredible. Calamari tough and overcooked. Cocktails were great. Service....meh. Servers do not match the desired ambience/menu and farm to table concept. It all just seems so disjointed. I'm not sure if they will survive without some much needed improvements. read more

The atmosphere and vibe of this place is great. The staff are welcoming. All the flavors are awesome and everything was cooked well, and tasted clean. They know how to cook. Unfortunately, they may be making compromises with the prices of meat going up. Our bill was not bad, but I'd much rather they raise their prices and give more protein forward ratios. I left feeling like I ate a bunch of carbs, when I know they can do better than that. read more

Have been by the restaurant twice, both early evening on a weekend. The first time the lights were on and workers inside, but the door was locked. The second time we stopped by after having dinner elsewhere. We were the only 4 in the restaurant. We sat at the bar to have a drink. One of the group then ordered ice cream. We then heard the owner/manager tell the gentleman that waited on us that he should not have served the ice cream because it was on the children's menu. read more
