I had an appointment for today and brought in a gift certificate that my husband had given me years ago pre-pandemic. I was not able to use it, of course during the pandemic, even though I tried several times. After a consultation with the manager, the lovely receptionist told me that they would not honor the gift certificate $100. The gift certificate did not have an expiration date on it, but evidently they have a policy that it cannot be used after five years. Especially in light of the closures during the pandemic. I do not think this was right. I choose to no longer patronize this business and will be getting my massages elsewhere from now on. read more

First visit and let's just say that I'm a fan. Environment was perfect. The smells, sounds, sights, everything. Hands down one of the best massages I've had. Overall experience was superb. 5 stars are not enough to describe the experience. From the very beginning, customer service was A1. They worked with my schedule and were very accommodating to my needs. My massage therapist, Shenika, was beyond amazing!! The way she worked with the knots in my back was impressive. First of all, the spa is in an old historic home in Gainesville, GA. The people who work at the front desk are very friendly and put you right at ease. It smells so good in there, and I did not have any delay for my appointment. I had a 90 minute massage today by Olivia. She was amazing!! From beginning to end, it was a 5 star visit. I loved the massage I received at the Spa on Green Street. The old historic house is so charming. I was greeted with a big smile and warm neck wrap. I was in for a 90 minute massage with Shaniqua and it was amazing! She wanted to know my problem areas before we started. She made sure to check and see if the pressure was to my satisfaction. I loved the lavender eye compress. I appreciate her helping me with all of my pain points and tension. I felt so much better in the end. The whole staff was very friendly. Great experience! The old house is charming. The front desk attendants are welcoming and greeted me with a hot cup of tea and a warm aromatherapy wrap for my shoulders. The massage table had a wonderful gel topper and the sheets were thick and soft. So Devine! Chris was great offering a relaxing salt rock massage. Loved the aromatherapy eye compress. Amazing experience! Last minute decision to see if I could get 2 last minute appointments; one for my sister-in-law while she was visiting from out of state and another one for myself as a girls' special time before the holidays! Bingo! Jasmine, who answered the phone, was kind and professional and fulfilled our wish. 2 hours later we were seated with water and tea and hot packs around our necks! Let the relaxation begin! Magic fingers from our massage therapists worked our tired, overworked stressed pre-holiday muscles. For my sister-in-law the muscles got worked after a 12 hour strenuous drive from their winter home and for my overstressed muscles the advice was to work my neck, shoulders, and lower back. That's what you get when you stress to finish painting a room before company comes! Both therapists were well tuned to what our aged muscles needed. Yes, highly recommend this place that allows immediate relaxation from phone call to make the appointment to when you first enter their facility in a beautiful antebellum home on Green St in Gainesville, GA. Both our massage therapists are knowledgeable and very well versed in their craft. I would have preferred taking only a half star off instead of a full star but limited by the technology of YELP. The only minimally down side of this facility is the post massage sell of their products. Then again it's what is required to stay in business and that's why my preference is a half star removal. read more

This spa is one of the only places in Gainesville and surrounding areas that I've found that does the "Tween to Teen" facial. I've been bringing my son and daughter here since they were 12 every few months or so and they just love it. Their skin has never had problems and my skin has never dealt with ingrown hair thanks to all the skin advice he gets during the facial. I don't know about other moms but I can tell my kids about skin care all day long and they just stare at me but as soon as a professional tells them, they are doing a refining like clockwork every morning and night. Plus, it teaches both kids the importance of self care and dismantle any notions that spa treatments are "just for girls" at this young age! I highly recommend Kali for your tween/teen boy- she really knows how to interact with them so they don't feel awkward like boys normally would. My daughter sees Ciera and loves how much she works on any extractions and just makes her fall asleep. I've been to this spa for years and so happy to bring in the new generation! read more

This place was freaking amazing. I just went in for a wax and they asked if I wanted a warm neck towel, tea, or orange water while I waited. The place had essential oils everywhere and relaxing music. I wasn't getting one of the more expensive services but they still treated me very well. I will definitely go back regularly. read more

Kathy Ogletree is a miracle worker! I came in to have work done on to relieve sciatic nerve pain between my lower back and legs. Kathy's work was focused and very effective. She truly has a gifted talent. if I were not a visitor to the area, I would become a regular client of Kathy's. Having been certified as a massage therapist myself, I am normally very critical of the massages I receive. I could not have been more impressed by the massage Kathy gave me today. Visited here for the first time today for a birthday gift and got the best massage I've ever had! I was even running a few minutes behind because I accidentally went to the wrong spa just down the road and I called them and they were very nice about it and still allowed me to use my full time! The place is very nice inside and smells amazing! The staff was super friendly and I highly recommend Thiane Couch for your masseuse! She was great and used the perfect amount of pressure after I made some special requests because of some injuries I have had. I also prefer quiet during massages so I appreciate that Thiane only asked how the pressure was and told me when to turn over. Today was my second visit to this wonderful spa. My dear husband treated me to a spa day. On my first visit I received the most wonderful facial and poultice massage. Today I decided to go with the poultice massage again. Laura is a phenomenal massage therapist. The spa is in a vintage home, but since all the treatments are upstairs you don't hear any of the noises typically associated with an older home. Upon arrival you'll be treated to either fruit infused water or herbal tea and a warm wrap will be placed around your neck. The place smells amazing. It's truly an oasis. Treat yourself. read more
