I came across this website after a quick google search. After finding the navigation on the site a bit difficult and apparently void of the product I was looking for, I decided to call into the store to find out for sure they stocked a replacement unit for a Coleman Saluspa Inflatable Hot tub because mine is on the fritz, and I love my hot tub:) Robin (the owner) answered. I introduced myself and I asked her if they carried such a thing. She proceeded to tell me that the prices on the website aren't as they are listed, sent me to a different website, and then tried to have me call a retail facility (the exact opposite of what I wanted as I am permitted reseller). A little confused, I asked her if she could just tell me whether they stocked them or not. For some reason, she kept telling me to look on the website, which I explained to her did not have the pump listed (which is why I was calling to find out if maybe they had it but didn't list it online). She said she couldn't tell me if she had the part unless I knew the part code. At this point, it was clear there existed some sort of communication barrier/misunderstanding, so I asked her if there was a way to find out if they had a part without knowing the part code. She answered me with "I don't know anything about parts, so I can't help you." This frustrated me and honestly left me really confused as to why an owner of a part store didn't know anything about parts. I nicely asked to speak with someone else. After being on hold for 15 minutes, Tony (a tech) picked up. I tried to explain what had transpired but he was dismissive and rude, cutting me off to ask me if I had a question about parts or not, so I asked him my question and found out they don't carry any such parts. This entire experience was disappointing, to say the least. If their communication over the phone is any representation of how they conduct their business, I would definitely choose/recommend someplace different. Tony was right about one thing though. In his abrupt efforts to get me off of the phone, he said: "as a business owner, you don't need to know about the product/s you're selling." His blanket statement represents a major disconnect between quality business and consumer relations. I have worked in the pool and spa industry for 11 years mostly in cleaning and servicing when needed. I had a spa board go bad and due to the COVID mess they were the only dealer I could find with one in stock. $425 vs $379 at many other out of stock dealers that don't require you to be a dealer. I filled out the applications and they denied me then asked for some invoices to prove I was in the industry which I did. Then they still decided to deny me the privilege to buy an expensive wholesale part from them. While in the meantime eating up time on me being able to find a resolution for my customer. Moral of the story don't deal with crappy people. Support anyone but these people with your money read more

Just went there today to get some parts for an old spa a friend gave me. This place is a more of a wholesaler to repair companies. 3 years ago I bought a pump from them for my old spa and I also had a good experience. The bottom line on this place is: they have it in stock and they aren't that interested in DIY folks. I actually drove from concord because they had EVERYTHING I needed on hand. Their prices are as cheap as ebay. They have a huge inventory. I'd recommend they increase there prices slightly to cover the cost of a friendly and knowledgeable sales person to cater to retail customers. Not such good luck with Mr. Watson and The Spa Works. I sent a detailed description of the old jet insert and attached 2 images of it. Tom replied via email "Thank you for the picture. Replacement insert: CALPLU21703428, $12.99." I ordered that part from them and it arrived. It WAS NOT the correct part. I called the spa manufacture who identified the correct part as PLU21703429. I ordered that part from another source their source. Today I called and was basically given the "tough luck" reply from Tom. He's willing to refund a whopping $2.99 of the original $12.99 price and I pay the shipping to return it. Their restock fee is 15% or $10 min. My advice would be that unless you can walk in with your old part and can see the new part before you pay, don't shop here. read more

I have a 3 plus year old OC Spas (Cal Spas) spa, bought at Costco. One of the pumps went out (combo pump leak & bad motor bearing) I found the part on line via their website - the price was very competitive - (I shopped around) and the delivery was lightening fast. Despite Thanksgiving Holiday - I had the part in 3 days with normal shipping. They followed up with email - I asked some side advice - great people to deal with. read more

Just got off the phone with Tony he was very helpful I have an old spa with mechanical switches. I thought it is the high limit switch Tony was very helpful in explaining how to use a multi meter and test some other parts. Tony easily could have just sold me the switch that I think it is or maybe is but with his patience and expertise I will test further AND I WILL buy my part or parts from them excellent service!!!!!!!! read more

We've got a spa that's around 40 years old. The crew at Spa Works has helped us keep it going for years now. They can identify what seal kit the pump needs from photographs...and, when it turns out the pump is cracked (something I didn't realize until I got it apart), identify what pump will be a bolt-in replacement from photos again! This last Spring, they patiently helped me replace the heating element after it leaked and ruined the high-limit switch as well, walking me through the best solutions and taking back a part that looked like it would fit but didn't. Great people. While I'd be just as happy never to have to work on the spa, they're always a joy to work with when I do. read more

I have placed two orders with The Spa Works. I ordered a new impeller, o-rings, and pump seal for my older Jacuzzi Z145. On my first attempt, I unknowingly installed one half of the pump seal in backwards which of course made it leak. I then ordered an alternate pump seal from them (US Seal has a standard version and O-zone generator safe version) and in an e-mail Tony Watson said neither should leak and that he would be glad to go over the install with me. I called and found out that I did install half of the seal in backwards (it is easy to do). Tony was extremely helpful and took time on the phone to explain things to me. I will definitely order any future spa hardware from The Spa Works. read more

Not even one star for these rip off artists. Hottub had issues, they came out charge was 75$ just to come out..plus 60$ for really nothing, then we had to take our deck apart..they came out again an additional 75$ plus more money for who knows what, total is almost 200$ by now..then they tell us our hot tub is fine after about an hour of tinkering with it..they also guarantee their work for a few weeks...we called on/off with the hottub having the same problem as before, bottom line hot tub not fixed and they want to charge us again to come out..Per their notes there is nothing wrong with the tub..so why is it still broken...?..do not use these guys we are probably another family on their list whose hard earned money has been stolen. they did not even try to be proffessional..literally it was if you dont pay more we aint coming out. oh but I thought the hot tub was fine?we will be contacting the BBB. read more
