There was no wait on my order that was handed to me with the warmest of greetings and smiles. I look forward to returning to enjoy this AC Sub Shop's sandwiches. There are no photos of my sub because it's better if you go to see for yourself just how delicious these sandwiches are with the right amount of spice/saltiness. I normally have oregano and sweet bell peppers added. I didn't here in order have the most authentic experience on how they make their version of the sub and the flavor with no adjustments. I may have found my new cheesesteak spot.

I can't recommend The Spot in Northfield enough! I've been there countless times and haven't had a single bad meal. Jonathan, the owner, is awesome and he keeps things fresh with a rotating list of creative and delicious specials. On my last visit, I tried the fried "chicken" sandwich made with mushrooms, and it was incredible. The homemade kombucha is also a must-try for its fantastic taste and gut-health benefits. The atmosphere is very chill, making it a great place to meet friends or have a work meeting. My personal favorite is the almond berry salad with blackened chicken, but honestly, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Supporting local businesses like The Spot is always a great idea, and I highly recommend giving this place a try! read more

I went to the spot a couple times before and really enjoyed their food until today. Today, I ordered the Pineapple BLT which I was super excited about. When my sandwich came out after I ate my first piece I realized there was NO I mean 0 pineapple.. then when I took the pile of greens off I noticed they also only gave me 1 piece of bacon for the BLT. I did ask the server if it was normal for the sandwich to only have one piece of bacon and she said yes but I could buy a side of bacon. The sandwich basically cost $13 but was missing the main ingredients. We most likely wont be returning if that's the portions being served. read more

After seeing Tracy W's review I was a bit taken back. My experience has been nothing but amazing with this restaurant. I personally eat here on a regular basis, and have to say I am never displeased. The tofu rice bowl and falaffel have become absolute favorites of mine. If you are looking for a typical dining experience with typical food then this is probably not for you, but on the other hand if you are looking for a unique experience then I urge you to check this place out. Both soups were very good as well, and the dollar up charge for the snapper soup was totally worth it. Most of us opted for some kind of broiled seafood platter. My father-in-law's mashed potatoes came out barely warm, the marinara we requested for the zucchini tasted more like stewed tomatoes, and my baked potato was kind of soggy from being wrapped in foil.
