Personally, no meal is finished without some form of coffee at the end. I admit this habit stems from my upbringing and a penchant for American, French and Italian fare but this was no different. I enjoyed a Cortadito which tasted amazing and had beautiful presentation. If I could rate this experience 6 stars I would. They knocked it out of the park. The Spotted Gallo is my new favorite restaurant! From the outstanding service to the even better food, all for ridiculously cheap pricing! I've never been to a restaurant that provided me with so much value for such a minimal price. I'm Nicaraguan myself and I've never seen a Nicaraguan restaurant truly captivate my culture in such a brilliant way while also being very simple and modern! The restaurant is also very clean and well kept unlike most Nicaraguan restaurants I've previously attended. This restaurant is a monster in the making! I'm glad that I came opening night because I feel the next time I go, I'm going to have to wait a bit longer to enjoy their delicious food as this restaurant is gauranteed to drag in more customers. Overall I rate The Spotted Gallo 10/10 because it truly captivates the Nicaraguan culture while also providing their customers with so much value for insanely low prices! read more

It's not like a the other nica restaurants where the food is already made and been sitting there for hours to be reheated and served. Everything is made to order and to perfection. The Spotted Gallo on Flagler Street is a great place to go for all things delicious and flavorful Nicaraguan food. I like the location and atmosphere here and being able to eat outside.
