Unimpressed. Pricey microwaved food ugh!! OMG, does anyone actually cook anymore. I mean I thought I saw a a grill back there but instead they put my chicken in the microwave. The potatoes make for a huge meal. This is definitely a spot where you could order one and share with a companion. Sharing also makes sense because the spuds are a bit pricey. Plenty of inside seating, however, it's just a basic set up. Likely more comfortable to grab your spuds to take back home or to the office. Also, depending on how much you like liquid "cheese" topping, I'd recommend having it served in a side container so you can control how much is necessary. Customer Service is really good. I was helped by a younger women at the register, very nice. I ordered a seafood spud and though it looked good the food didn't taste as good. The spud was missing flavor. My spud has crawfish, shrimp and crab and it was still bland. Also the shrimp is frozen cooked pink shrimp. Maybe if the ingredients were fresher it would be better. I was craving a baked potato for lunch, and a coworker suggested I head up the street to the Spud Spot. They have quite the extensive menu of toppings that you can choose (they also have poor boys and snoballs if that's what your aim is). They do have a sign saying they may have imported seafood for toppings, but otherwise, they have all kinds of meat, cheese, and veggies to choose from for your potato. I really only wanted the basics (like cheese and bacon), and it was pricey, like $11, but when I received it and this thing was the size of a small football! Found on Yelp Ordered "Dat Cajun" spud based on reviews and the ingredients listed on the menu. It was a big potato but not huge. The sauce was spicy as the menu says. The staff was a bit rude while taking orders. Adding extras must be an issue for some customers. Added extra scallions (they called them chives and they are not the same thing, related yes but different) and she said there was a charge. I said fine. My friend ordered her potato and added a different protein and an extra cheese and she said they are extra. The tone she kept saying it in made us respond with we know things cost extra and if we ask for it we are willing to pay for it. The potato was filling and it was spicy and ultimately had to pour some of the oil off to enjoy the potato the ingredients were drowned in it. You can tell by the photo I will add. I placed my phone order at 11:29 a.m. order was not ready until 11:58 a.m. Upon reception of items I received the wrong order. I received a potato with no bacon and one with bacon although I ordered two of the same items the cashier had a line of five people along with answering the phone while two workers were in the back pushing out online and Food Service orders resulting in 13 containers sitting on the counter ready to go with four people waiting in the lobby. The food is okay but I suggest putting in a GrubHub, DoorDash, or Uber Eats order to be catered to in a timely manner because their attention is not on in-store customers. I love baked potatoes, and I like this place a lot. The potatoes are big and stuffed really full. I like the shrimp potato, the chili cheese potato, and the veggie potato. Honestly, the entire menu looks delicious, but I haven't tried the whole thing. If you care at all about your health, I recommend getting light or no margarine. Before I started asking for no margarine, I hated to see my delicious potato swimming in liquid fat. Unless you specifically want margarine, you don't even need it! The toppings have enough flavor, and I don't miss it at all. The employees are a bit hit or miss. Some are really nice and friendly, and some are questionable. A few times I've had to listen to employees discuss the latest drama in their lives, which wasn't appetizing. The owner is really nice, and obviously cares about his business. There is limited seating inside, but I've always been able to get a seat. It's also decorated with various Mr. Potato Heads, which is cute. I almost forgot!
